This shoe is very good looking with high quality construction. However, while I ordered and received a wide width, the shoe feels narrow. I think part of the problem is the packing whereby the shoe is rigidly packed which may cause the narrowing. That said, based on past experience, after a while the shoe should conform to the specification,

Of the three brand mocs I tried including Timberland and Rockport, these were the best looking. The support is poor so I may have to buy some orthotics. They just feel weird on the bottom of my feet. The Timberlands felt better but piched my ankle. The Rockland pinched my big toe joint.

I bought a pair of these about 10 years ago and they were the most comfortable shoe I owned. They also had a removable padded insole that I could wash/squirt off after getting dirty or wet. These are not nearly as comfortable or convenient. They look great but only have a heel insole that is glued in. The front of my feet start to hurt after walking fairly short distances because of it. I've only had them a few days so hopefully they will break in nicely but given the lack of padding toward the top of my foot, I am not getting my hopes up.

These were my go to shoes until yesterday, after having these shoes for two years the sole blew out of the bottom of them. I do have other Sperry's that have lasted just as long or longer so pretty disappointed. But overall nice looking shoe and comfortable to wear even in hot weather!

Leather on part of right shoe looked used, abused and very off color. More than disappointed with the quality! Where this shoe is being manufactured, needs to be somewhere else!

Sperry Mako Shoes GREAT - Zappos Service BAD. ZAPPOS service - not so great anymore. I have been a ZAPPOS VIP customer for 10+ yrs. This purchase was horrible. I purchased these shoes for my husbands birthday 7 days in advance. No problem - right? Wrong!!! They didn't arrive until the day after his birthday. I kept checking the website and it kept saying "we're on it" or something stupid like that / after 2 days, 3 days, 4 days. I called customer service on day 4 and day 6 and definitely not the old ZAPPOS. I know they went to some new mgmt style where there's no management, but they left their customer service behind also. They said they should be there any day now cause they were shipped last Thursday PRIORITY (last Thursday was, at that point 6 days ago). They couldn't even tell me where the shoes were. Wow - I need a new shoe store.

I had to send this pair of shoes back, because defective stitching in the left shoe at the base of the padded tongue rubbed against my foot.

I like these shoes. I have worn Sperry's for boating for years and they have always been fine. My issue is wear. They do not wear well. I would say about 6 months of solid wear and I had holes on the soles. I walk a fair amount for work so maybe someone who does not will get a year or so out of them. I am going to try another brand next but will continue to buy Sperry's for boating.

I expected them to fit the same as my #0197640 that has an excellent fit for my narrow foot 11.5 AA. (S). The toe area is too wide in the #0764027. I wear both shoes for casual wear and evening wear. Disappointed size/width is not the same in all styles.

I try to order my favorite Sperry topsider shoe every few years and hope to find the exact one again. Unfortunately, this was the closest match to my old pair but wasn't perfect. This time they have the extra orange tabs on the shoe (that I will try to stain to match the rest of the shoe) and the Amaretto color is much lighter than it used to be. The sole is more substantial also and the threads are a different color than the leather, not how I like it. It is a good shoe but it used to be a great shoe.

Don't purchase the coffee style as the pictures at time of purchase were limited to one and mis-represented the product. The initial picture shows a leather border around the top of the shoe but it is indeed fabric which wears much faster. Also, the green is much more prominate than shown and the badges in the photo are nearly hidden as displayed in the catalog. A regretful purchase!

The shoes appear to be substanderd in quality. Dyes used still transfer to my socks after a couple weeks of use. The materials used look cheep compared to Sabago boat shoes I previously owned. And last, but importent: "Made In China!"

I like the shoe, but the sizes seem to run bigger than what they would be in any other shoe. Also, according to the fad, I wear these without socks, and the shoe rubs against the back of my foot and cut both my feet. I now have to wear either socks or bandaids.

The stain that was used rubs off and discolors my socks, feet. Not what I have grown to expect from Sperry.

Since narrow widths are not in stores, I had to order on line. Received style, size & color ordered. The left shoe fit comfortably. The right caused pain on the top of my foot due to a thick spot where the tongue is attached to to the shoe top. Pain was so bad that I would not have bought that pair if in a store. Would have them bring out another pair that would fit properly. Would buy again only if in a store where I could try them on first. Was going to wear them on vacation. Not sure what to do now. Beat the lump with a hammer?

Disappointed with fit as this shoe seems wide by quite a bit. I've had many pairs of Sperry in my size and this is the first that has been too wide. Also very little padding in the footbed, would not be comfortable for a lot of walking. Otherwise as expected and, as usual, great shipping/service from Zappos.

I bought these to replace my 10 year old Sperry Mako's and all I can say is wow what happened to Sperry quality. The shoe looks good but is cheaply constructed, the soles are cheap and the stitching is questionable. I done with Sperry.

They run a bit large. I tried to wear them a bit to break them but got terrible blister on the back of my heel. I'm reluctant to wear them again but will eventually. Overall not pleased with the look either. I wish I could have exchanged them at a brick and mortar store.

I have been buying Sperry boat shoes for over 30 years. I previously purchased this shoe (same model and size) in May of 2021...order #W1046521185. Those shoes were significantly larger and accommodated my orthotics. The shoes I purchased this year, order #W1052361631 are much smaller, stiffer and more difficult to break in... overall, a disappointment. Perhaps the size was mislabeled? I was once asked, "What will you do when you can't buy those shoes anymore?" My answer, "As long as there are boats (I don't own one), there will be Sperry boat shoes". Hopefully this feedback will provide an opportunity for quality improvement. Sincerely, Richard Ernst

I have worn Sperry boat shoes over the years and always found them to be top notch. Sadly, this shoe looks nice but the inside is not the shoe Sperry used to make. The insert stops half way toward the front of the shoe - which may be why they do not show the entire inside. As a result of the truncated insole, my toes feel uncomfortable after walking for ten minutes or so. I now wear them only inside. I will try a pair of the more expensive shoes to see if they have a full insole. Very sad to see a great product cheapened.

There was no cushioning under the ball of the foot and no room to add additional cushioning. The lack of cushioning made the shoe very uncomfortable
