Great boat shoe. I've tried other boat shoes and they felt stiff and cramped due to the poor leather construction. These shoes felt like slippers right out of the box. Great quality and construction. The leather was very supple and the toe box was wide enough for my duck feet toes not to feel cramped. The sizing was spot on and the shoes were just slightly snug when first tried on. Due to the soft leather (coffee color), I'd imagine they will stretch out slightly over time. If you intend to wear them without socks, then I would probably order a size smaller to allow for the expansion of the leather over time. The support really surprised me also. I thought there wouldn't be any but now I feel comfortable wearing them all day. All in all a great boat shoe and I'll be ordering another pair as a backup.

Bought these for my father (61, somewhat stylish) and he loved them. He had old dockers for years so these were an upgrade. The color contrast looks really nice with the light tan labels on the dark brown leather. Very nice quality and he said they are comfortable.

I am now on my third pair of these particular Sperry Top-Siders, and these may be the best yet. The shoes look great and are incredibly comfortable. As far as boat shoes go, the best support in the soles out of any I have tried. I highly recommend to anyone!

These Sperry Top-sider's are hands-down the most comfortable and the best quality leather boat shoes I've ever owned. I've had a pair for 7+ years and they still look and feel great. I wanted a new pair for dressier occasions. As for the Zappos service, they're second to none! Where else can you order your shoes on labor day and find them the next day at your doorstep! Outstanding, Zappos!

I am an old Southern California surfer dude. I have been wearing Sperry for as long as I can remember. What is interesting is that they are getting harder to find here in the Southern California basin. Especially models like this Mako 2-eye which I use as a bit more of a light dress shoe with jeans/casual dress as opposed to shorts and surf style shoe. The few times that I have found it recently it was very expensive in local stores. By chance I was Googling and Zappos came up. I had read of Zappos in some business and entrepreneur magazines and had heard all good things. Bottom line: their price excellent. Service smooth as silk, product delivered prompt, clean and as shown. I would highly recommend them. And they are low risk with a very customer oriented return and service policy. Winner all the way around.

These are great boat shoes. I picked them up at the Sperry Store at my local mall. One thing to keep in mind...these run about 1/2 to a full size larger compared to your normal 'dress' shoe. The rep at the store said the Mako style, in particular, was known to run big. I wear a 9 dress shoe, 9.5 sneaker and I ended up getting a size 8 in these Sperry shoes. Once you get the fit right, they are very comfortable, though they definitely need to be broken in to get that annoying 'shine' off of them.

Not the color depicted. It's darker brown leather with darker soles. Otherwise a very comfortable shoe and well made.

Very nice looking shoe. I've had Sperry before...sadly they were very small and I even bought the EE. Going to try to get larger size and width and see how that goes. Returning today.

I purchased these as a gift for my husband...He absolutely loves them...They look great with pants or shorts...The color is wonderful and they fit great...Can't ask for a better purchase!
