These were supposed to be 7.5 wide,I could tell before even trying them on that they were more like a 7 narrow.

I wear 11.5, so it's very difficult to find shoes that fit. These shoes were super comfy. They weren't the most stylish shoes I've ever owned, but the fit made them worth wearing. My biggest issue is that the leather scuffed very easily on the toes and within a month or two, the leather was peeling off and looked terrible. For what I paid, I'd expect shoes to last much longer. I saw this mentioned in another review for SoftWalk, so apparently I wasn't the only one with this issue. Very disappointing!

I am disappointed in this purchase. The reviews are positive overall, but this shoe just isn't doing it for me comfort wise. I have very wide feet and am used to a break in period, but the top of the shoe offers very little give and it does not seem that these will stretch as desired. Additionally, these are long - feels about a half to full size longer than I am used to. After a day of wear, I have band-aids on both heels to cover the spot where the back of shoe is hitting my ankle as it sits very high. The length of the shoe is causing it to slip and ride up in the back. Unfortunately, I wore these today so a return is not an option. Furthermore, they have a very orthopedic look to them. The pictures online are much more flattering than the actual shoe received. The insoles are very comfortable, though.

These are very comfortable but the right shoe squeaked. They are a little short but the next size up would be too big. Too bad...have to return them.

When I first got these they were super comfortable, but do not have the arch support I need. They fit well and feel well made. But after wearing them for a year the insole has broken down and it is like wearing flip-flops. I would expect a higher-end shoe like this to last longer. I will have to buy an orthotic insert to keep wearing them.

I am a true double wide, and these only felt like a W. I really wanted them to work, but it was just too tight.

Over the past 5 years I have purchased 6 pair of SoftWalk shoes. 5 pair have been the Jupiter style. The first pair of these shoes lasted a year and a half and were extremely comfortable. The last four pair the style of the footbed changed and they don't last as long as the first pair I purchased. They are very comfortable but the inside footbed wears out too quickly.

Since I have a very narrow heel, it's extremely hard to find shoes that fit. Since this shoe has a strap that's high, it helps prevent the heel from slipping up and down.

Comfortable shoes but the soles are slick. I sometimes worry about slipping.

Wish they were Earths - These shoes are relatively cute and the egg-crate-ish bottom seems like it would be really comfortable, but it doesn't give the support I would expect. The sole is very flexible and you can feel every pebble on the ground. It's a little bit like walking in slippers instead of shoes. I bought these to replace a pair of Earth Solars and really wish I had just bought more Earths.

Dowdy, slippery, not so hot... I was so excited about the insole of this shoe, but ultimately it got in my way - when long-distance walking it got slippery, and my foot kept sliding around inside the shoe. I ended up getting blisters from the strap because my foot moved around so much (and this was due to it being too large...the size of the shoe was pretty much spot on) the shoe is pretty ugly, too - the shape is way too orthopedic looking, especially compared to their other shoes, which have a certain style to them. I got to wear these around and at first I was pretty happy, but after a few days I was in pain and really irked with how...squishy the shoe turned out to be.

A joy to wear - The shoes, although a little wide provide the comfort and style that I like. I am glad to know where I can find the product.

Saw these shoes and fell in love. I have big feet and it is so hard to find comfy shoes that truly fit. I was so excited to find these and couldn't wait to get them! I ordered 11WW thinking that usually wearing an 11W, this size would fit great. They were too tight. The actual size was fine but the width was awful! They squeezed my feet and as adorable as they were for the price I paid, they had to go back. Very disappointed. Definitely felt way more narrow than marked.

I had hoped these would be my dream shoes, but unfortunately, no. The left shoe hurts my bunion. The right shoe perfect. Zappos is a great company to allow us folks to ship back and forth at no cost. Greatly appreciated. I am 80 and it is hard to shop around. Will try again for that perfect fit.

I have bought this particular shoe for years and something has changed. The sole is harder and there is a clacking sound when my feet strike the floor. I work 13 hour shifts and with my older pairs, which I still have, I have no problem after my shifts, but with my newest (reformatted) pair, my heel hurts so bad hours after my shift. I don’t have that problem with my two older pairs and the soles of the older pairs make no noise when they strike the floor or pavement. I don’t know what SoftWalk has done differently, but I no longer have faith in the brand.

My ankles rested just above the toplines of these shoes, which caused my ankles to press over the toplines with every step I took. Also, my toenails would graze the rougher, upper part of the inside of these shoes, which also caused me pain with each step. I had to return them. Too bad, too, because they look great.

I have really picky feet, but these shoes are extremely comfortable. They even fit my orthotic inside, and are pretty cute. My one complaint, and the reason I give them 2 stars instead of 5, is that they aren't durable. I work at a hospital, and my feet take a beating on a daily basis. The leather on the toe and especially the strap was already falling apart after a couple of months. I expected more durability for the price I paid.

The lining of the shoe insert came loose within a month and got glue all over my socks. Otherwise, comfortable.

Runs 1 - 1 1/2 sizes smaller than listed. Looks clunky and stubby in person.

The footbed was very soft, but the shoe was surprisingly tight for an 11W and also not as cute at that size as it might be in an 8.

This shoe used to be really nice! I wore my old pair to infrequent dressy occasions for many years. But this new version of it is cheaply made, thin, trashy. They are not worth $20, much less $109!

I am unhappy, disappointed, and surprised. I bought these shoes about 6 years ago. I wore them sometimes -- not to work, but often to parties or special occasions. Last night I put them on, and noticed black pieces of rubbery stuff , some large and some small, all over the floor where I had walked. The soles of the shoes were falling apart I called Softwalk today and they said this is a common problem if the shoes are not worn regularly. The explanation dealt with a foam layer inside. I think it is absurd that the soles of shoes chip into pieces. The representative said that they are working on this problem. She said that they are trying to improve it. She offered me a promo code so that I could order any shoes at 50% off. When I went to the website to look at other shoes, there was no way to enter a promo code. I don't know if this company makes any shoes with a different sole material. The uppers are in perfect shape and the leather is beautiful.

I have worn this shoe very little because it is too tight across the top on one foot. I have always worn a narrow, this is the first time ever that that hasn't worked. I kept it because I really liked the style and bought a shoe stretcher thinking I could fix it. Followed the instructions but it didn't help. Causes too much pain so it is just gathering dust in my closet.

These shoes just arrived and looked adorable..until I tried to put them on and the back seam ripped! They are REALLY poor quality...so disappointed!
