This shoe has the makings of a good shoe but misses. I usually wear an 81/2 in this kind of shoe and I took the equivalent of a 9 which is a 40. The length was fine, the width was o.k. could have been a tad wider on my right baby toe, but I think the leather would stretch. The real miss here is the Velcro adjustments. It's tacky and isn't right for an expensive shoe. First the velcro is itchy across the middle strap. When you have part of the strap that has velcro on it exposed it will pick up all lint etc and look horrible in no time. That strap going across the arch is just made too tight anyway. But the footbed and leather are good quality.

I really wanted to like these. But since the Velcro on the shoe is black, if you adjust it for width, the black Velcro shows up like a sore thumb on the beautiful colorful pattern. Ugh, it ruins the whole look. I sent them back.

I just received these in black and am quite disappointed -- they look huge on my feet and are stiff and uncomfortable. I already own 2 other pairs of Wolky sandals that are great, but these look and feel really orthopedic. I am returning them. Delivery was really quick, though.

I loved this shoe and really wanted to be able to wear it but unfortunately I annot. Apparently the way my left foot is constructed does not agree with the way this shoe is made. It rubs a raw spot underneath my arch on the inside. I had this trouble with a Wolky I ordered once before but thought t was just that particular shoe. Apparently it is the brand.
