Okay - I take it back. These made my feet ache the 1st couple of days but now they are better & I absolutely love them. I get so many compliments.

The sandals are very comfortable and give great support. I did add an additional arch support. I would go walking in these. I have problem feet. My only issue is that they are not as stylish as I would like. That said I have yet to find a shoe that feels good and looks really great! I would buy these again.

Amazing shoe and I have had many Wolky sandals over the years - even taught all day kindergarten in them. Received many compliments about the color, too!

Absolutely "foot heaven". Adjustable velcro straps allow a custom fit. The pink color I chose is fun.

The Wolky Jewel in turquoise really is a jewel! It has plenty of comfort and adjustability features and lots of pizazz. This is the perfect combination when one has achy feet and the urge for jazzy dressing.

I love this shoe! It's is very comfortable, looks lovely and can be worn both casually and for more dressy events with pants. I need good arch support and this has it.

These were very nicely made sandals - and gave decent support. Unfortunately, for me, the front strap hit right at my big toe and was uncomfortable. Thank you Zappos for making the search for a "perfect" shoe on line possible.

The leather feels stiffer than on my previous Jewel purchases. The finish on this style is good

Loved almost everything about this shoe even though it's on the pricier side. However, it's the shine in the design that is causing me to return them. The picture made them look more like tapestry or at least matte. Not the case, so they'll go back. If someone doesn't mind the shine, then go for it. Really a great shoe.

The area at the very front of the toes strap was very scratchy and dug into my big toe, but only on my right foot. I tried adjusting the strap but that didn't help. I have very low volume feet and these couldn't tighten properly over my feet: they were either too loose, or had to fold awkwardly at a big seam to tighten enough, and then were too tight and uncomfortable that way. They seemed to have no arch support and my feet pronated, putting pressure on my knees. I usually wear 39s, and got a 40 in these. The length was okay, but the other issues mean that I'll return them.

The foot bed was supportive and comfortable but the leather on the black canals was stiff across my foot and rubbed against my skin which is why I chose to return them. I wish Zappos offered the Wolky Jewel in more smooth leather colors. Perhaps the leather might be softer and I would try this style again. Someone else must have returned the pair I was sent because the shoes did not arrive in their original box. For the price of a pair of Wolkys I expect the shoes to arrive in new condition and in their original box. Otherwise they should be offered at a discounted price. I usually order a 37 but found that I had to order a 38 in this style of Wolky.

I love this shoe! I bought a multi blue color years ago, I wore them so much that the insole wore out. I just recently learned I can replace the insole! The shoe is very comfortable, and true to size. I wear a 9 in almost every comfort brand and the 40 fit great. My foot is a little wide but I don’t wear wide size. The Velcro on all the straps makes it easy to fit to your size. This time I ordered the taupe cobra color and it is beautiful! I docked it one star because the dye from the insole colors the bottom of your foot black. This happened on my first pair (bought 5 years ago) and my new pair is the same!. It’s very disappointing when a company ignores an obvious design/material flaw. It does go away after a while.

This is a nice shoe. One thing to note, however -- it does have a little dip under the ball of your foot, so if you need a flat footbed, this is not for you.

I loved the shoe but it hit my big toe in an awkward way. I wore them around my house and realized they would cause a blister if I wore them longer, so returned them. My feet are very sensitive though, so others may not have the same problem.

I liked these shoes but they were too wide for my very narrow feet. I was hoping that I could make them fit using the velcro closures. However, the velcro closures do not make the shoes as narrow as I need them. As a result, I am having to return the shoes.

That I own four pair of this style should suffice as a review. There are few styles and brands that are comfortable on my, well, deformed, 75-year-old feet but the Jewel is a jewel. For me, they are better than going barefoot. They get lots of compliments for looks; I think that is folks' way of saying, "Hey, those look comfy."

These fit just fine. Due to the various reviews I ordered a size larger than I needed. It was so large I had to go down 2 sizes and I have really wide feet! The arch support isn't as great as I'd like but with recovering from a stress fracture, I need shoes with stiff soles. Fits the bill.

I've worn a 38 in several brands but the 39 in this brand is a perfect fit. This style is less orthopedic looking than in photos, the strap across the top of the foot gives it a Mary jane look. The black leather is good quality. I love the shape and cushion comfort of the platform. I sent them back because the strap across the top of the foot has a seam where it transitions from leather to fabric and it made an imprint on my skin. The Velcro straps were busy looking to me.

Not as much arch support as appears from looking at the outside of the shoe. Insole is actually pretty flat. Sadly, not enough arch for my plantar fasciitis. Maybe great for someone who can switch the foot bed with custom orthotics but I don't own any.

First, I just want to say that prior to a car accident that left me with a bum knee, I wore the biggest, funkiest shoes I could find, ever. Now, I'm always on the hunt for comfortable (and sometimes orthopedic) shoes that don't look hideous! I love that the funky colors take away from the orthopedic look of the shoe. The sole is just chunky enough to not look "old lady," and the bright teal gives it a modern day feel. The shoes themselves are very comfortable. I am not, however, crazy about the bed of the shoe sitting inside a sort of "shell." My foot would sometimes rub onto the shell, giving a mild discomfort when worn for a long time. However, I would still recommend the shoes, because really, it's a very small complaint. I didn't get any blisters from it, just annoyed. If you're looking for a good, comfortable walking shoe that has some air/ventilation - and don't want to look geriatric - these are a pretty good call. (I like super funky shoes and clothes, and these actually blend pretty well into my wardrobe.)

These are very cute and go with a lot of my clothes but aren't as comfortable/cushy as I'd expected so I'm returning the black pair that I ordered at the same time and will get something else in black.But they DO get admired! I wear 11.5 and it's hard to find cute shoes in my size.

I bought this shoe because I needed a wide shoe to accommodate my custom orthotic. It works perfect with it. The thick sole is very cushy and it feels like walking on clouds. It does look a bit like an old lady shoe, hence only 4 stars. Very very comfy.
