Great shoe!! I am a surgical technology student and bought a pair of the antique brown professional oiled on the advice of 2 surgeons who also wear them. I love them. They are very comfortable and help with leg and foot fatigue. I loved them so much; I bought a pair of the black ones. I wear them everyday and recommend them to everyone!!

Breaking them in blues! This is my second pair of Dansko Professional Oiled clogs and I had forgotten about the difficult breaking-in period. I am sure I'll get there but for right now I can't wear them more than 2 hours at a time or my feet go numb. They fit quite snug across the instep and I might order up a size next time. They are also quite heavy compared to Keen shoes which I've been wearing lately. The clogs are great looking, though I was hoping to find my favorite green color through Zappos. But so far, so good. I'll have a different report in another month.

Love these shoes - I have flat feet and have to wear orthotics with everything - except these shoes! They are lightweight and my feet didn't hurt. Only thing is these run small. I wear a 10 and had to get a 10.5-11 for them to fit.

I heard so many good things about these shoes from coworkeres I had to grab a pair. I usually wear a 7½-8 so that is what I ordered, but they were way too big and I sent them back for a 6½-7 and they fit perfectly. I am still waiting for initial break in period to end as the top of my foot is a bit sore after a long day in them but my back does feel great so I have no complaints.

Great shoe! Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I purchased these to wear one on my right foot with an Aircast on my left foot, after some people had suggested it would be the right height. Sadly the Danskos are about a 1/2 inches too tall for Aircast Walkers.

Excellent shoes! Fit better than expected. Cannot imagine working on my feet all day without these.

These shoes are as comfy as everyone says. They're not the most feminine or fashionable shoe, but can come across like a chunky clog with bootleg cut pants. I wear them with every pair of my pants (except black). They feel amazing, and it was money well-spent.

This is my second pair of this shoe. It is comfortable, warm and a shoe that lasts for years. I have them in black also. My favorite casual shoe.

I am a long time fan of Danskos and Zappos. However, I had a bit of trouble with this pair of Dansko Professionals at first. The left shoe was overall much tighter especially across the top of the arch. After wearing them a few days with no sign of stretching, I finally brought the left shoe to my local cobbler, and he stretched it out. Now, it is wearable, and I know I'll get tons of use out of this pair (I own this shoe in 4 colors). So, no fault of Zappos, or Dansko, just a part of online shopping, I guess. And anything hand made will vary pair to pair and shoe to shoe. Zappos service is phenomenal, as usual. Super speedy delivery. Thanks!

Holy canoli! The Danskos are great...knew they would be! I tend to be an 8 to an 8.5 and needed the 39 (8.5-9). Narrows are a must for me with Danskos, otherwise my feet swim. Perhaps they'll start making the other fun colors in narrow. Zappos! I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last order. It had nothing to do with you...it was all me. Dansko clogs have been my daily shoe wear for many years now. I have very wide feet and Danskos accommodate them well. I find that they run slightly small (so I buy a 37 for my size 6 feet), but the leather also stretches well. I also have high arches and I have found that if I can deal with snug shoes for a week, they stretch out and accommodate that height just fine. I can walk all over town or stand on my feet at work all day in comfort. I can wear a pair every day for an entire year before I need new ones. They would last years if you had more than one pair of shoes. They’re totally worth the price.

Thank God for these shoes!!! I never have spent a lot for shoes and was really hesitant to buy these, but the return policy and great reviews drew me in. I work 12.5 hours on my feet all day and it's really taken its toll on my feet over the years. The pain in my ankles had gotten so bad, that I could barely walk in the morning when I woke up. When these shoes first arrived I was nervous because they looked like a lot of shoes I had tried in the past. I wore them my first few days at work and my ankles felt a little better but I wasn't too "wowed" yet. They are a really heavy shoes and my shins and calves had to get used to that. It's now been several weeks and I am in love with these shoes! Sometimes, I actually want to wear them on my days off, because they are the MOST comfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot and well worth every penny. I would highly recommend them to anybody on their feet for a long period of time.

Like many others, I love these shoes! They are comfortable and supportive. I had to order three sizes to find one that fits (no problem there) and finally settled on 45 narrow. The 43 narrow was way too short for me, the 44 narrow oddly slipped completely off my heel when walking. The 45 narrow fits my narrow heel, wider toe box, and flatter arches. I normally wear a women’s size 12 so these shoes should be too large - but they fit perfectly. They have stretched some from a few weeks of wearing, but not so much that they are too loose. I have worn them in the snow and on icy, bumpy ground, and they don’t slip easily, nor do my ankles twist in them - they seem quite stable. These are the ONLY shoes I can wear all day and have NO pain or numbness in my toes. I recommend them, but suggest trying several pairs/sizes - they don’t seem to fit everyone the same way, and as others have mentioned, they seem to vary in size quite a bit, but when you find a pair that really fits - they are the greatest! I just wish the Petrol Patent came in my size!

Incredibly comfortable. Great to wear with jeans or slacks. Have worn them in the snow lately, and they repel water and haven't shown any scuff marks. I couldn't be happier!

Sizing: I am a solid 8, I first purchased a pair in a store, they advised on the 39, I took them home and wore them around a bit, they just felt so clunky, so I went back and exchanged for the 38, took those home and wore them around again, these were just too snug. I ordered the 39 Narrow from Zappos. PERFECT. I am still trying to get used to such a prominent arch, but I have a feeling these will become a favorite pair of shoes! Zappos was super fast as well!

If you have to be on your feet all day, there is no shoe better than this Dansko clog. I have tried all different orthopedic clogs/shoes/nursing shoes, etc, and this one is by far the best.

I really like this shoe! I have plantar fasciitis, and the arch support on this shoe made the pain go away. They feel amazing on my feet. My only dislike was when they arrived, the shoes had rubbed together, and the leather was scuffed up. But when I rubbed the marks with my hand, most of the scuffs went away. Otherwise, these are my favorite shoes.

Love, Love, Love these shoes. As an RN, I am constantly on the go. My feet and legs never felt so good after a long day. Since I have such a narrow foot, I need to wear fairly thick crew socks with them. I will never work in another shoe again!

I have high arches. My foot is wider and I have a high instep. I wear an 11 wmns. I think this shoe runs small because the 42 was too small. 43 fit perfect on the foot bed which felt great. They are supposed to be loose in the heel, making you feel like you’re stepping out of them when you walk, which is how the 43 fit. Arch support is awesome! However, I have a high instep. When standing in the shoe - no problems, the sole would compress down leaving plenty of room in the shoe for my foot. When I would sit (be at rest) and the sole wasn’t compressing, the padded instep pressed across the top of my foot making my foot tingle like when you tie your tennis shoes too tight. Called Dansko. They said this shouldn’t happen and the shoe was too tight. For my high instep, they suggested trying the Phoebe. Tried it and agree it is a better style for high insteps. Phoebe has inset elastic with more give.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I thought I would not like the way the heel slips, but I soon got used to it and it is not a problem. I can rarely wear a clog type shoe because my feet are so narrow; in fact, it is very hard to find shoes that fit well and are comfortable. These are wonderful though and I only wish they had more of the colors in the narrow. I own the oiled antique brown and I plan on buying the black as well.

The shoes take awhile to get used too but they actually feel great. Once I trained my feet to quit pushing down with my toes to keep them on, they work well. It’s quite a different style for guys to wear clogs but I like clean leather boot look. Works will with jeans to business casual.

If I had to pick one pair and only one pair of shoes to have, these would be it. They are comfy, don't get scuffed, look good with pants, and are even ok with skirts. The flattering extra height doesn't come with the pain of high heels.

I have really enjoyed these shoes. It does take some getting use to for the fit as the back of the shoe doesn't quite snug the ankle, but wearing thicker socks or inserting a shoe pad helps. They are extremely comfortable and from what I hear, they last a lifetime. I highly recommend these shoes if you stand on your feet for long periods of time.

It takes a few days to get used to them, they are heavy and your heel slips out of the back (but it is supposed to); but once you wear them around a few days, they are perfect for your feet. They become very comfortable and make your feet and posture happy. This shoe is just awesome.

I'm not sure if I can offer any new insights on this amazing clog/shoe that hasn't already been mentioned. All I can say is that I love Danskos and exclusively wear them. Unlike many folks, I prefer Danskos to Sanita- mainly because they are more stable/wider heel, and they run smaller and a tad wider than Sanitas. I am a size 8- 8 1/2 with wide feet and a high instep. I wish I could wear 38's because the length fits me perfectly. However, due to my wide feet and high insteps, I always have to order a 39. So, my suggestion to all of you wide-footed, high instep-types is to order the larger size (if in-between sizes). If you have a low-volume foot (flat-footed) and it's narrow, then opt for the smaller size. As always, Zappos rocks my world. I had to purchase several of these shoes and return a lot of them. Each shoe is different, and I had to try on a bunch before finding a good fit. Why shop anywhere else?
