I think I needed this shoe in a half size. A 43 was way too big, and the 42 was too tight. I really wanted to like this shoe. Style-wise I quite like it.

Good looking shoe but felt too small. If you are a size 11 get the 11.5 - 12

Second pair ordered and still too small

I cannot begin to say how narrow these shoes are. I admit I have a very wide foot (10.5 4E), but I usually can fit into regular shoes if I go up to a 12. I tried everything from a 44 to a 46 with these and even the 46 were too narrow (by a long shot). I work in healthcare and have heard a lot of good things about Dansko shoes. It's a shame they don't make any mules with wide widths.

Interesting shoe, the main problem was they would slip off while wearing them. I believe because my instep is not high enough but am not certain. I want to warn you that this shoe does not have a "non marking" sole and scuffed my Brazilian cherry floor very badly!

I was dying to own these bc of the great reviews. However, the 13-14 ws really a 13, My heels hung over the edge. I really liked what I felt, strong, soft leather, quality stitching, and slip on ese, but no luck in the sizing for me.

Beautiful shoe, however, I did not find them comfortable. They actually hurt my feet.

SO disappointed in Dansko!!! Their women's sizes are at least one size smaller than marked, and their men's sizes are too large. Very disappointed as I really wanted these to work.

send them back as the back of the sole was too big

Within a short time the sole broke into two parts where it bends on both shoes. Also some metal staples holding the leather to the plastic sole worked their way out.

Unfortunatly I had to return them cause was NOOO way my foot was gonna fit inside--got size larger than I normally wear but felt size smaller probably ok for people with smaller narrow feet--was very disappointed cause they looked fantastic --just will not work with MY big dogs lol

The open back makes it very difficult to walk around in at a busy job. The shoe keeps wanting to fly off of your foot unless you dig your toes in to hold it on. This is very tiring and uncomfortable. Had to return them. It's also a pretty stiff shoe, so it's not that soft and comfortable especially on the toes.

Totally different fit than used to be..

I sized up, but couldn't even get my foot in it. I was later told that Danskos are handmade, so there are big sizing disparities. She told me she has three pairs of sandals, each a different size. Trying them in person will save a lot of shipping cost waste. Disappointed, as I really wanted these to work.

the arch is too high , does not fit

I normally wear size 10.5 Wide I went ahead and brought these clogs at 11.5 they felt a bit tight was hoping to break them in, but... after having to wear them for 2 months my feet is been hurting to the point where I can't walk. I am a nurse in the Operating Room so having a good pair of comfortable clogs is very important, I chose these based on reviews and unfortunately had to throw them out.

The insole isn't removable so you can't use custom orthotics.

Heavy shoe, frequently fell off of my foot... Especially scary on the stairs... Almost rolled an ankle.

I'm writing this review as a warning to men who are flat footed and tend to pronate. These shoes are a calamity waiting to happen. Because they are so high and wobbly on my feet, the first time I wore them I fell out of them: my ankles twisted and I fell flat on my face. At age 60, this kind of fall is very nasty. Both ankles are painfully sprained and my knees are all cut up. Dansko clogs are a nice idea, especially for women who have experience with tall shoes, but they're a virtual land mine for men. You've been warned.

Very disappointed with this shoe. Shoe is too narrow and even though I ordered a size bigger (based on posted reviews), I should have ordered 2 sizes bigger. Dansko no longer provides quality and at their price point, they are not worth it.

Danskos are apparently not for people like me with flat feet. You basically need a 45 degree angle or some kind of plantar crater for these to make sense. I can't comment on how true-to-size they are, because they only come euro-sized; I can say that the largest size, 47, hardly contains my American 14's. I know the closed-back kind goes up to 48, which is not as roomy as it sounds. Thought I'd try something different for work (in the OR, like most people reading this, b/c who else but docs could afford these freaking things), but I guess I'm sticking with my dirty Nikes.
