Awesome shoe!!!!! Awesome shoe right out of box. The minute I put these clogs on instant relief to legs and back. I work out in them: 1 hr on elliptical machine and lift weights as well as 12hr shifts at hospital.

Great for all Wear! I'm a Chef and these Karls are great. I've been wearing them for over 12 years now and love them. They really look great with a Chefs uniform also. There great on greasy floors, freezers, cement, any type of floor. As long as they make them, I'll buy them. A little costly - but there worth every cent, especially the PVC that runs through the sole-excellent construction. I wear a normal 10 and a half, but with these I drop down one size and get the EU size 43.

Great shoes - I work in the emergency room and have tried numbers of shoes from big name brands that guarantees comfortable and long lasting shoes. I suffer from back problems and I spend most of my time running around and let me tell you that this clogs has been wonderful. Been wearing one for the last 2 years and it still looks as good as I first had it. 5 stars!

Men's Danskos For Large-Footed Ladies - I am a female health professional who spends long workdays in clogs and needs them to be sturdy and dependable. I've purchased dozens of pairs from most companies that make size 11W. At $60-70 each, I'm lucky to get 6 months comfortable wear before the arches and soles seem to break down. On many, the footbed picks up stains and odors. I tried paying more ($90-100), but didn't find the eggcrate footbed (Softwalk) comfortable. Finally ordered this Dansko shoe in size 43 (I'm a woman's 11W) and what a difference! Wore them 12 straight hours the first day. A great solid, supportive shoe that should last years. Unfortunately, women's sizing and styles only go up to 42, so I had to order men's size and had very few style and color choices. I hope Dansko will start making larger women's sizes and styles for those of us 11W and up.

I live in these! This is my third pair of these shoes. I am a woman but buy the men's 43 instead of the women's 42 because that tiny difference makes a big difference for me. I work on a university campus and need the style (and versatility with casual and dressier outfits) of these shoes as well as unprecedented comfort. I can walk miles in them! They are the only shoes I’ve worn all day that didn't leave my legs tired and sore and they look great with jeans, skirts, etc. I’ll buy a pair a year as long as they make them...

Dansko Karl - Shoe only comes in medium width. Needed it to be wider to accommodate an insert prescribed by Podiatrist. Used a shoe stretcher device and managed to widen shoe and now all OK. Really feels good and helped planter fasciitis.

Best Shoe Ever - These are simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I spend 8 - 10 hours a day on my feet, and I don't even feel it in these shoes. I haven't worn any others since I got them. Thanks!

Sturdy work shoes - No complaints about these shoes. I have a large-ish size 13 and the open back works well. 48.5 is a touch too big and 47 is a touch too small. Great for long hours on my feet in the kitchen. No traction problems on flour, butter, and for the most part oil. But watch out for ice!! I've busted my bumper several times with these shoes.

A gift for my son - My son is in his fourth year of residency in radiology and he was the recipient of the shoes. This is his second pair after wearing out the first. He has been wearing ever since he received them and thinks they are very comfortable except these are higher then the first. He said," It's like wearing platforms." Besides that, they are perfect.

Great shoes for kitchen workers. I spend long hours on my feet, in the kitchen during the day, and these shoes are great. Since purchasing them, I no longer have back or arch pain. And as usual, Zappos was quick in getting them to me. They are pretty true to size as long as you wear socks, and they have great arch support.

Great shoes for Chefs - I've been a professional chef for nearly 20 years and I wouldn't wear any thing else. So good I wear them almost all the time on and off work. Wonderful support.

The Dansko Karl keeps both my feet, and my back ready to tackle any problem that comes through my pass. I highly recommend this clog to any cook or chef who wants to work a Saturday night in comfort and style.

Hurts at first - I love Dansko. I bought my 2nd pair, and it took about one week for my feet to get used to it. At first the shoe felt harsh on my feet, but now that they're broken in, they feel just as good as my last pair that lasted for over six years!

Durable - I have just purchased my second pair of Dansko's Karl. I have worn my first pair for 8+ years daily in Surgery. This is an excellent clog.
