Fantastic - I wanted a shoe I could walk all day in and still look good, and these are perfect! I've worn them everyday since I bought them a month ago and even in the rain they are amazing.

Great for Nurses or others who work long hours on their feet - As a nurse, having worked in different states and also in the Navy, I found out that my shoe choice was regulated more than my clothing. Many hospitals, for "insurance reasons" forbid the wearing of clogs with open backs because we run the risk of "falling off of our shoes." In the Navy, if working in area where hospital provided scrubs were worn, i.e., the OR or intensive care units, clogs were permitted, but they had to have backing and they had to be black, at least where I was stationed. Prior to discovering Zappos, I bought my first pair of Dansko clogs at a shoe store in the mall and they were one of the best career investments I've made to date! Anyone who works long hours on their feet, either moving from place to place, or standing still for long periods of time (like assisting with procedures in my case) these shoes will save your feet and especially your back! At the time I made this purchase, I had two bulging discs in my lower back and work was becoming extremely painful. But the first day I wore these clogs to work, the arch support or whatever magic part is in this shoe, made getting through my shift so much better! I dare say even comfortable! And if that wasn't enough, they look great and quickly became my "go to shoe", you know, the shoe you wear to do your every day running around. And now that I've found Zappos and their wonderful service, I can have a field day with all the different colors and styles! So now I can buy great looking, comfortable shoes in different styles, to wear with anything! I STRONGLY recommend these shoes, this brand and especially this store!

WOW! Make the rest of your footwear wardrobe obsolete- Finding shoes that I can work in comfortably for 8 or more hours is tough. I got a pair of these as a gift and it did take a day to adjust to feeling the arch support where my flat feet haven't got any, but they have been my "go-to" shoes ever since. Plenty of room for the toes, and with the 'sliding heel' function (which is not annoying at all, though it sounds like it may be) the fit was perfect for my narrow heels. I usually wear an 8 to get enough width for my forefoot, so 38's were perfect. Not too tight, not too loose. I'll be getting more in other colors! I gave these a 4 for looks... they do look better than expected for a "comfort shoe" but classic khakis, which are what I usually work in, are too straight to look stylish with these. However, trousers with more flare at the bottom compliment them perfectly. The oiled finish just looks better and better, and most scuffs can be buffed out with just your fingers.

Happy Feet! I tried the Dansko clogs the first day they arrived and have just loved them ever since. They are expensive, yet if I have finally found a shoe that I can wear for twelve hour and even sixteen hour shifts that I can be comfortable in. They were slightly tight in the top at first but then they loosened and felt fine. I get many compliments on them. I also may get the white for summers, but the black stays clean looking and are no maintenance. They are just great and I highly recommend them to anyone who is on their feet all day. Jennette G.

Dansko's Clogs - I travel a lot and bought these shoes specifically for treking around all over Europe. I was looking for an incredibly comfortable and supportive shoe that looked a bit nicer than your standard sneakers. So far these shoes have only accompanied me on a trip to London, but I look forward to wearing these shoes on many more trips in the future. Perfect shoe for what I was looking for.

Dansko Professional - Co-workers of mine have had the exact style of shoe that I purchased for 5+ years. I hope that mine last that long as well! If they do, I definitely will be purchasing more.

These shoes are awesome. They are a little ugly, but incredibly comfortable. They are really easy to keep clean too. I work in a bakery, so my shoes are always getting covered in flour and food. It all just wipes right off at the end of the day. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who works in a kitchen or is on their feet all day.

I am in love with this shoe! I have worn no other shoe since I received mine 2.5 weeks ago. It is very, very comfortable and supports me so well. I thought I could only be comfortable in Birkenstocks, but this exceeds that shoe in comfort. I am very pleased!

True Comfort! My last pair of Danskos took a few weeks to break in. These were instantly comfortable. They are great for work or play. I love the weatherproofing!

I love danskos - That's why I own several pair. I'm a resident physician, and these shoes have absolutely saved my feet. I recommend them to everyone!

I had to order a bigger size than I thought. But once I found the right size, the shoes were great! I was on my feet for 15 hours the first day I wore them and they did not hurt! They have great support and comfort. I had to order one size bigger than recommended on web site.

Dansko Professional - This is the second pair of Dansko shoes I have owned. The quality and workmanship are great and they are excellent for all day wear. Definitely "must have" shoes.

Best Ever! I wear these shoes about 300 days a year. I am a teacher and on my feet all day long and these are the first shoes that eliminate any and all foot pain (and back pain as well!). I love them so much that I wear them even when I'm not working except in the summer months. Additionally, they are super-cute and make me look taller. It does take a week to break them in (you'll feel them on the top of your feet), but afterwards, welcome to shoe heaven. Several of my friends have tried them and 90% love them just as much as I do, with 10% absolutely hating them. Some people just don't like such a loose shoe. And yes, they are meant to move around on your foot a bit. Yep, they're expensive, but they are extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear. Mine could use some shoe polish, but the base of the shoe is in great shape even after two years of continual use. I highly recommend that you give these shoes a chance!

They fit! I wear a size 7 1/2 narrow, with a skinny heel that is almost impossible to fit into normal shoes. The Dansko's Narrow has been comfortable from the first day I wore them. They are still too wide - I have to wear 2 pairs of thin-medium weight socks or 1 pair of thick socks like a Thorlo. A small price to pay for having shoes that are comfortable and look cute.

Now and forever, this is the shoe! I absolutely LOVE these shoes -- they're spectacular. Very, very comfortable; I can wear them hours on end and my feet don't hurt one bit, and I have very bad feet from years of running on concrete. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone - anyone that wants ridiculously comfortable shoes, that is!

A mistake - I love this shoe. I have it in Brown, and discovered it at a shop in Florida. I was so thrilled to be able to order it online in black (as this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had) However, try as I might, the new shoe is too tight for me even thou I ordered the same size. I cannot tell if my original shoe is wide or what the difference is. Please advise. I have only been able to keep it on my foot a few hours.

FAST FAST FAST! I ordered these shoes at 8:30PM on a Thursday and they were at my door by 4PM the next day! This is an incredible company! I will ALWAYS order my shoes from Zappo's!!!

Hmmm... I have owned a pair of Dansko's before and loved them! Think they were a sporty version of these. I have to say though, it has been just two months and I can't wear these anymore. I am standing an average 10-12hrs a day. Can't figure out why these hurt and the others don't.

RE: Dansko professional - This shoe is awesome for nurses who spend a lot of time on their feet. I have Plantar Fasciitis and when I wear these the pain disappears. I wear a 7 normally but needed the 38 which is an 8 in European size.

fabulous shoes - I love these clogs. I now have them in several colors and I am more excited about these shoes than any other shoes I have ever bought. They are tremendously comfortable and great looking. Highly recommended.

Dansko Professional - I first bought this shoe because my daughter loved it! Now I have several pair and I love all of them! I've never had a shoe with such great arch support EVER!!!! I'm on my feet for 16 hours a day and my feet NEVER hurt!!

These shoes are great - I wear these in narrow, and I live in them! They are so comfortable - both my feet and back feel great at the end of the day. They're so durable, too, they're worth the price - I have 3 pairs.

Dansko and Zappos are the best!! I love Dansko shoes. I'm on my third pair. They are long lasting, a great design and comfortable. Zappos is the VERY best shoe company. I wouldn't think of ordering shoes from anyone else!

Dansko Professional - Best shoe ever purchased. Former devote Etienne Aigner wearer (they no longer fit my aging feet). Foot, leg and back pain disappeared within 24 hrs. No more foot fatigue; unbelievable but true. I wear a 7.5 medium to wide; purchased the 8 medium. Break-in time minimal. Disliked the look when I opened the box; make no mistake, it is a clog. However, it's now the only shoe I wear to work in a law firm; the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Absolutely worth the investment.
