I love this shoe! I'm a serious Dansko fan and when I needed a shoe I could wear with long skirts I bought Marcelle. it has all the features of a Dansko closed back clog, is exceedingly cute, and makes me almost 2 inches taller. because it's a Dansko, I know it will last and I can stand or walk forever without any body parts hurting.

Love the Shoe... but the sizing is off. Last year I bought a pair of Marcelles in black, and I've worn them nearly every day since. They are hands down the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. However I bought the Marcelle in brown recently, and even though it was the exact same style and size, it was WAY smaller. The toe box, especially in the area around that side seam, was extremely tight, to the point of being completely unwearable. I'm not sure if they've changed the sizing, but it was a disappointment. BUT, if you find one that fits, they are a DREAM. Love my Danskos!

Dansko Believer - It is so hard to write unbiased reviews. Often, people accidentally stumble upon an item and then become forever fans. That is what has happened to me with Dansko shoes. I love them. They are the only shoes I wear! This is my third pair of Marcelle shoes alone. I probably own seven or eight other styles of Dansko shoes in varying degrees of wear, as well. It is my humble opinion that these shoes are fantastic!

Great Shoes! These are original Dansko brand. Look and quality of the shoe is perfect. I love the look and get a lot of compliments on them. Shipping was free and I got the shoes like the next business day.

I love the shoe. It is my first pair so it took me a few wears to get used to the feel, but they quickly became my favorite. I was surprised to find that I took a 37. I'm usually a 7.5 to 8.

Excellent shoe - Very comfortable and goes with many outfits. Delivery of this order was very timely. Loved the shoes, I wear them almost everyday. I wish they could come in more colors.

Third pair, exactly the same! It pretty much says everything when I say this is my third pair in 10 years - I can't live without them in my job of standing all day! But they are cute enough to wear with capris and skirts. Love them!

Strange fit compared to other Danskos - 1. The cordovan color mostly looks like a medium, slightly red brown. Not nearly as pretty and dark and reddish as the pictures. 2. The fit with the Marcelles is just bizarre. I wear a US 6 in almost all shoes. In my Dansko professional clogs, I wear a 37, which fits well, but is too tight with medium-to-thick socks (mostly across my arch, which is high). In the Margrete style, which is sort of the sandal back version of Marcelle, I wear a 36, which works barefoot or with thin socks. I wanted the Marcelles to wear with medium-to-thick socks (handknit, in fact, to show them off). Because they are closed back, I initially tried my clog size, 37, which was way too wide (with an enormous heel area) and seemed too big overall. I went down to the 36 which is what I am keeping, but I can still say the heel area is definitely on the wide side. Very odd that I can wear a 36 in Marcelle with thick socks, but can't wear them with 37 in the Professional Clogs. And if I wanted to wear the Marcelles barefoot, I would probably have to size down to a 35! Strange fit, but great looking shoe.

Awesome Shoe! Great shoe! I am so impressed by its comfort. I am going to have foot surgery and despite that, I can walk all day in them without pain and discomfort. They have great arch support and that helps me walk. I also got lots of compliments on how great they look on my feet!

The BEST boot ever! Worth every penny. I had to buy a second pair in another color since I was wearing them daily at work and on the weekends. So comfortable and cute-with skirts or pants! And the icing is that they\'re waterproof-fantastic for New England weather.

I am a Dansko fan - As an RN I find Dansko's to be the best shoe for my job. I bought the Marcelle to wear with street clothes. I absolutely love them and they look great with my dress casual clothing. When I wear Dansko, whether it be my professional clog or other styles, my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I am even more impressed with Zappos customer service...AWESOME! I was using the Live Chat online to ask a question about the Marcelle and we accidentally were disconnected. The customer service rep sent the answer to my question via the US postal service. Now that is customer service.

Love this shoe. Super comfortable (I have high arches) and makes bigger feet look small. Only problem is that you have to be careful with these shoes so you don't twist your ankle on uneven surfaces. Also, I think they run a little small. I usually wear a 10, but these are almost a little short in a 41 (listed as 10.5-11).

Dansko Marcelle - I absolutely love this shoe. I had the regular enclosed Danskos before and because I have such a high instep, they really hurt. These are great because they do not cross over that bone on the instep. They are so comfortable, I work in them all day and I feel like I have slippers on. Would definitely recommend. I think I am going to get them in brown too. I also wear them with jeans and they look so cute.

Dansko Marcelle Review - I have two pairs of the Marcelle: black and the reddish color. They are extremely comfortable and my feet are never tired at the end of the day. My only complaint with the reddish color is that the leather has developed a few spots where some of the color has rubbed off. The color/material isn't the same as the original reddish color.

Love, love, love these shoes - I'm a long time wearer of the Professional Clogs and have made repeated efforts to find the same comfort with a little different style. These shoes perfectly fit the bill. As with the clogs, they are comfortable immediately and really help my problematic back and feet. They fit basically the same as the clogs and really are very cute on. I bought the dark brown, which go with all of my brown clothing and jeans. I think I can probably even wear with a skirt in warmer weather. I 100% recommend these shoes!
