Felt too big and too stiff.

These shoes are beautiful, burgundy goes with everything, I wanted to keep them. But wearing around the house, my toe rubbed the front, and they are quite heavy, which is tough on my knees. Unfortunately, returning.

Really Beautiful, unfortunately the heal is just too wide for me and i had to return it.

I usually wear a 41 in Dansko. It was so sloppy and wide I ordered the size 40 in the same shoe. Unfortunately, it is still very wide and sloppy, just shorter. Bummer- they are going back.

This was a cute shoe in a beautiful color however it was too big without double ski socks, not what I needed it for. I am returning.

This is my second pair of Marcelles in 4 years. The fit and size are still the same. I wear a size 9-9&1/2 and chose a size 40 in the Marcelle. It is a little loose but I like the extra roominess it gives me, especially when I am on my feet 8-10 hours a day. Sizing up a half size also allows me to wear thicker comfier socks with the shoes on colder days. Love them!

these look a full size bigger than all my other Danskos of the same size.

I have admired these shoes for a long time and decided it was time to make the purchase. Unfortunately, they are just too wide for my narrow to medium feet. I know the heel needs to slip a little, but it was the grand canyon around my heel. They would have been better with socks, I suppose, but I wanted to wear them without socks. I am sure if you have a wider foot and heel, they will fit great. So, I am afraid I have to return them. So sad. Otherwise, great Dansko quality, so I give them four stars.

They were to big! I have small feet, & hard to fit... they are super cute, but a little bulky

Adorable shoes, but... The buckles make a funny sound when I walk and they feel larger than the danskos Mary Janes I have that are Velcro. All in all cute and comfortable but scratch easily; however, I would still buy them again

It looks just like the photo. They are very comfortable and yet a tiny bit narrow but it may be because they’re new. I’m hoping they get a little wider as I have the same exact shoe on black and it fits fine.

I love these but they just don't fit :( I have many Danskos in this size and these are longer and one is tighter/narrower than the other so I can't size down. Sad to return them.

These are my first pair of Dansko shoes, I love the Mary Jane style. I’ve worn them with wool socks, because it’s freezing here in MA, but they are a little big without them on. Overall I’m happy with them, the style and the comfort too!

A bit stiffer than I thought. I was hoping for a soft footed. Overall a great looking shoe but for the money, I was adding an insole for padding.

These are beautiful and well made. The sizes are a little off because my correct size was too big. However one size smaller is too snug around the front and back, but the back still slips a little, even when buckled, when I walk. Im keeping it because the leather should stretch a little and some gel inserts should stop the slipping. Otherwise these are really nice shoes.

I just received my Dansko Marcelle's today and from a comfort perspective I'm a bit disappointed. The strap hurts the top of my foot. I tried it tight, normal and loose and it all hurt. I love the look of them so I am on the fence as to whether or not I'll be returning them. $125 is a lot to pay for shoes that hurt.

This is my first purchase of the Marcelle style of Dansko. The style is cuter than your typical clog, but just as comfortable. Since I have narrow feet, the strap helps prevent my foot from sliding around. I typically have to wear thick socks with my other Dansko clogs so the shoes fit better, but not with this style. So it has been a good clog for warmer weather.

I was recently diagnosed with Hallux Limitus/Rigidus (stiff big toe) in one foot and was recommended Dansko shoes by my podiatrist. I've never worn this brand or anything even remotely clog-like before, so it's taken some getting used to. I have wide toes and a narrow heel and normally wear a 5.5-6. The 36 fit well- plenty of room in the toe box and my feet move freely inside them when I walk. I had to wear thick tights the first several times to keep them the strap from rubbing too badly (and learned really quickly not to wear the straps tight). The only thing that really irritates me about these is that I end up with way, way more random debris inside my shoes than any I have ever worn - even when I was walking around in ultra-minimalist toe-shoe flats with completely open sides! They're cute with casual or dressy clothing, so I don't mind having to wear what I consider to be big, bulky "orthopedics" quite so much.

Dressy enough to wear with skirt or dress! Love them.

I little roomier than my XP pair for hospital days, but still good (a smaller size is too tight). The color is more brown than in photo (maybe is my phone/app?)

I wear a 39 in most Dansko shoes, but in this style I apparently need a 38. They're just a little big, though the strap does help keep them on. The Cordova Cabrio color is more red than brown, so it won't fit my need for a brown pair of shoes. Like all clogs, I need to wear longer pants with these or else I almost look like I'm wearing "floods".

I so love the look of these shoes and I'm a big Dansko fan. I will be returning them because they are just a tad too tight for my wide feet and I don't think the patent leather will have any real stretch to it. Bummer.

Wanted to love these, the teal color is beautiful. They have great arch support and a nice wide toe box, but the heel is really wide also so they looked like they were too big for my foot.

I really like theses shoes and they fit well. I like a slightly roomy feel and even with a top strap they weren't too tight.

When I first put this shoe on, it was a little off putting because it felt so stiff, and fit loosely, almost feeling like a wooden shoe. As I adjusted the straps, put on heavier socks, and even stuck in little foam inner soles, they started to feel quite nice. A little clunky looking at first glance, but nicely made, and sturdy. The green color is VERY dark, and looks almost black. That was a little disappointing also. I am keeping them because they are different than any other shoe I ever had, and I think they will be very comfortable and supportive as I get used to them. Kind of wish the strap was velcro though. I know it sounds like I do not like them at all, but I do see a lot of potential with this shoe. I think the patent leather ones are crazy looking, and I might have to get those too one day. I could see myself getting hooked on these after a while.
