A strong supporting shoe - I'm on my feet eight hours a day on concrete flooring at work and these have been the most comfortable, supporting and durable shoes I've ever owned. I've had my pair for a year now and am just now considering a new pair.

Wish I had every pair of shoes they make! I absolutely LOVE this pair of Josef Seibel shoes. From the minute I slipped them on my feet, they have been ultra comfortable. I will definitely be buying more of this brand of shoes in the future! Well worth the money

I always enjoy reading what others hav said about their new shoes, so I would like to tell you how I feel about these Joseph Seibels. Not only do they feel wonderful, I also get good comments from others when I wear them. I have arch support problems, and with this shoe I was able to not even wear my orthotics like I usually have to. What a treat! So, if you have arch support problems, I would suggest that you give these a try. I also ordered the Joseph Seibel Tedra, which fit about the same way. Both are great shoes. I have medium to narrow feet, and they feel wonderful. However, if you have wide feet, I am not sure that you would find it a good fit. Other than that, I, personally, have NO complaints about these shoes. I plan to take either, or both, on a trip that we are planning soon.

Love these shoes! I am actually on my second pair of these shoes, my first pair lasted over two years with pretty steady use and when they started to look a little worse for wear, I just ran out and scooped up another pair! If you do not think it is possible to put on a new pair of shoes and not have a 'breaking in' period, then you have to try this shoe. They are so light and almost feel like a slipper but go the distance when doing steady walking. Whenever I run into someone else wearing these shoes we always spend 5 minutes gushing about our love for our Joseph Seibel shoes. Probably sounds sappy, but if you get a pair you will really see what I am talking about. Two thumbs up!

Great walking shoe - I bought this shoe the week before traveling to Germany for 11 days. I didn't have time to "break it in" so was worried. So comfortable, I walked miles every day. No blisters, no sore, tired feet. A great shoe.

Cute Shoe But Had a Problem with Zipper - I really liked this shoe. It was well made, soft leather, comfortable and had good support. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the zipper that made the shoe snug kept sticking. For an expensive shoe, this should not had happened. Perhaps if they used a velcro strap like Rieker does or had the double goring hold the shoe on it like Eastland Newport or the Trotters Ash that would not create such a problem.

Great comfort shoe - This shoe is buttery soft right out of the box. I have six other Seibel shoes that I simply love. They are so comfortable and look good with pants. I wish this one had a slightly higher heel. I returned this pair of shoes because the look of the zipper is so dominant.

A very soft comfortable shoe - These shoes need no time to break in. The leather is very soft and the sole is very flexible. They are almost slipper-like. I wear a 6.5 and I needed an innersole to make them fit more better with a thin sock.

I wish I could of kept these shoes, however they were just about half a size too short (size 41). They are extremely comfy, great arch support and made my feet look much smaller than the size 10 that they are. Don't hesitate to buy them, just buy the bigger size!

Not true to size - I ordered these in size 12m. Usualy 12m fits perfectly. They fit like they were size 11.5 narrow. I have a high instep. These are definately not made for high insteps. I couldn't zip the zipper at all. Too bad because they are nice looking shoes. The soles seemed more solid than similar Clark's.

Slight problem with one of these shoes squeeking. Overall, comfortable.

Anon from SF - I love the way these shoes look. They make my size 12 foot look like at 10. They are comfortable overall, but I am finding that the footbed isnt as comfortable as I'd hoped. I am experimenting with different insoles now. But, based on the other reviews I read, my feet might just be more fickle.

Josef Seibel's Tanya - I really liked the look of the Josef Seibel Tanya shoe. I thought I wouldn't really like the zipper pull but didn't mind it at all once I got it on. Disappointedly, I found that this shoe was too big for me in the heel and this is something that has never been a problem for me. I would readily try another Seibel style shoe since the support is very comfortable.

I liked these shoes online and I liked them out of the box. Absolutely no wear-in time, soft as butter, lightweight, very practical for someone who is on their feet most of the day. In terms of style, they are very classy, urban professional, streamlined shoes and the zipper is a nice stylish touch. However, after just 6 months of wearing these shoes every day to work, the sole on both shoes cracked, all the way through to the insole. I couldn't believe that I spent this much money on a pair of shoes that didn't hold up structurally for at least a year. I won't buy another pair by this maker, which is very unfortunate because I liked them in just about every other way.

Very disappointed - I bought this shoe based on reviews and the fact that I had already purchased a different pair of Seibel shoes which were very comfortable. When I first opened the box, they looked fine from the top but after inspecting the heels, they seemed much flatter than in the picture. I put them on my feet and walked around my house and porch with them for about 2 hours and they were literally choking my feet. Because of the "high arch support" the inside of the zipper was pushing into the top of my foot making it extremely uncomfortable. The size I had ordered were also a size larger than I normally wear so it made no sense they were so tight on the top, while I had a lot of room at my toes. All in all, I was very disappointed with the fit not to mention they are very ugly in person. Kudos to Zappos for great return service though.

Disappointing shoes - I bought these shoes a year ago, and wrote a favorable review based on look and 1st imnpressions, but ultimately I have been very unhappy with these shoes. I thought they were perfect at first, but have not been able to wear them day in and day out as I had hoped. The footbeds have proved disappointingly uncomfortable even after just a few hours of wear. I have tried multiple insoles and inserts but to no avail. No arch supports or orthotics seem to offset the lack of a negative arch support. And additional padding in the shoes then caused my toes to hit the front of the shoe I don't know if it is just this particular pair that was perhaps poorly constructed or if this shoe in particular is just not suitable for me. Overall a disappointing result for an expensive shoe.
