The Dansko Professional is so unbelievably comfortable your feet will miss them whenever you take them off! Be sure to order your true size and if you are in-between sizes go to the larger of the two as this is the way that they run. (I usually wear a 7 1/2 and the 38 was perfect. You are supposed to have a fingers width room in the back of Danskos. I bought the Cabrio Cordovan- they are so pretty and shiney. the color is ***great***- it looks good with black, grey, jeans, burgundy, brown- soo versatile. You will love them and they are unique looking too- fun to wear!

Hooray for a Dressy Comfort Shoe!!!! Great with anything short of filmy, organdy, etc.! Long velvet pants or skirts with dressy tops...these shoes are great! I thik I will have to be careful not to scratch the toes--especially vulnerable under the "toe kicks" of kitchen or bathroom cabinets.

Tight over instep - These shoes were tight over my instep, but I stretched them by stuffing them with cloth and they are now the MOST comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I usually wear a US 5 1/2 and I got these in 35, which is perfect and allows my heels to rise and fall as they are supposed to since these shoes don't bend like traditional clogs. I am very prone to blisters but have NEVER gotten any in these shoes. They are amazingly comfortable and I would buy multiple pairs if I could afford to.

love these clogs - I absolutely love these Dansko clogs. They are soooo comfortable, and the patent leather dresses them up. I love to wear them with a great skirt, or nice pants.

Great purchase - These shoes are great. They are so comfortable and you can wear them with absolutely everything. And Zappos has an excellent service. I ordered these shoes at 7 in the evening on a Thursday night and they were at my door by noon on Friday. Unbelievable!

Jane, St. Paul, MN - ACTUALLY, I purchased 4 pairs of shoes all at once. I have MS and found that my balance had deteriorated. After falling,(and at my doc'suggestion), breaking my wrist and sternum, one of the first things I did was to order 4 Danskos--the professional cabrio in Patent AND in brown. I ordered a pair of great boots and one pair of sandals. After 16 months,and 3 operations on my wrist--the last cast came off today, replaced by A plastic splint--I'M IN MY DANSKOS DAILY. BUT BY FAR, WHAT MAKES ZAPPOS UNIQUE, ARE THE CUSTOMER TEAM--I'VE NEVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED, AS I AM WITH THEM!!

Though they took about a week to 'break in', once that was done, these shoes are the MOST comfortable work shoes ever. I work as a bartender and am on my feet for hours straight, these provide comfort and support. one word to the wise, they DO run small -- so if you wear a half size, definitely go up -- go up one size more if you wear a wide!! They will fit ou much better that way.

dansko wins again! This is my second purchase of the same style (different color). I wear them to work and at home too (unusual since I usually love to shove off work-type shoes immmediately). I do use a thin insole because of the inexact fit (for me). I find them exceedingly comfortable and others seem to find them attractive enough to comment positively. Only downside is that the same size feels slightly different on my feet (is that peculiar to me only?). Anyway I love them and would love to have a pair in every color. Oh and I had to buy size 42 (gasp) and I wear an American 10.

Professional Walking Shoes - The quality, fit, and comfort of this shoe could not have been any better. I will buy nothing but Dansko Professional from now on!

Happy as a Dane - I bought a pair for my wife. She's 7 1/2 so I got the 38 which was what was recommended. She said they felt great... but wasn't crazy about the color which was burgundy. I tried to expand her color horizons a little... but after pouting a while I told her no problem. Zappo's has free exchanges and you can get black just like all the other shoes in your closet. Now she loves them!

These shoes are made for walking - My feet never seem to get tired in these shoes. I feel like I could walk for ever in them. I ordered the wrong size. had no problem with the exchange. I find Zappo's to be a great company to deal with. I would order from them again. I found the shoes cheaper on an other web site. No problem Zappos beat there price.

I love these shoes! Remember when you were little and you loved a new pair of shoes or an outfit so much you wanted to sleep in them? These shoes are that great. They're comfortable and gorgeous - I'm talking about the Cordovan Patent, which is really not patent at all, just smooth and shiny. They go with everything from casual to casual business casual. I am a size 8/8.5 and got the 39s - which is what my European size has always been anyway. The *only* bad thing is that from about day 2 to 4 of wearing them (I've worn them constantly since I got them), I had a terrible pain on the top of my left foot - that bone that kind of sticks up as you run your finger along the bone that eventually becomes your big toe. But I stretched out the leather just a bit by hand, and kept wearing the shoes, and now there's no pain at all. I've wanted these shoes forever and now I want them in every color. Oh, and Zappos is the best, that goes without saying.

Getting complients every time I wear them! These are the hippest comfort shoes going. I'm a suburban mom doesn't like to look like one. The patent leather makes all the difference. If you feel that your Uggs are "so last season",these are the shoes for you.

Pleased with my order - This is my first time ordering through Zappos. I was very impressed with their customer service and their grateful offer to upgrade my shipping (at no cost to me)to two days because I needed the shoes right away. I placed my order on a Tuesday, and I had the shoes on Thursday.

World's most comfortable clog - Now that I've worn the Dansko Professional Cabrio closed-back clog, I think I'll always keep at least one pair. They are amazingly comfortable, and they look great, too!

Extremely comfortable - These shoes are wonderful! I am used to wearing the Modellista clogs and thought that nothing could top them in terms of comfort. That was until my Dansko clogs arrived. As soon as I put them on I could immediately feel relief in my feet. It is quite hard to explain just how comfortable these clogs are, but they lift up my heel in a way that makes me feel like I am walking on air. I have never worn shoes as comfortable as this before. I highly recommend them, especially if you suffer from flat feet or Plantar Fasciitis, as I do.

So cute - This is a great shoe. I wear it with pants for a casual look at work and it is comfortable to wear all day on the weekends with jeans. The heel, though it does slip as advertised, does not rub my foot or irritate. It is really cute for a "clunky" shoe.

Love these shoes! I have total freak-of-nature feet, so a friend suggested I buy some of these and they work like a charm... no more sore feet. My feet are wide and my instep is high so even though I wear an 8.5 in any other shoe ever created, I had to get a 10 in these. These aren't the sort of fashion statement I'm used to making, but I'm telling you, if you're sick of getting your feet jacked up this is where it's at. And Zappos is awesome... they couldn't make buying shoes any easier... Perfect!

Very pleased - My shoes arrived in only a few days. They fit well-I knew that in this type of Dansko a size 39 is really an 8 1/2 and that I nedded a 40 to fit as a size 9. The patent is great-just a little dressed up. How ironic that just after ordering these my husband was admitted to the hospital and every doctor and nurse was wearing the professional. They needed no breaking in. I was able to wear them the first day for about 12 straight hours and they were so comfortable. I would like to order another pair in a different color. Zappos service is speedy and excellent!

Black Patent - Shines - I bought these for my wife about a month ago, and since they arrived she's worn them more than all her other shoes (including a few pairs from Dansko). She walks a fair amount each day in an office and across campus as a student, and says they're the most comfortable shoes ever. The pictures you see online of these don't do them justice; they're so shiny they almost glow.

This is a great shoe. This shoe feels a little weird at first because of the loose fit in the heel and toe box, but those characteristics contribute to the shoe's comfort. I just returned from a 10-day vacation, and other than my slippers and my dance shoes, these were the only shoes I wore. Great support, and plenty of room for your foot to move and breathe. I have a pretty good bunion on one foot, but it's just not an issue with this shoe. They're not the most elegant style, but I think they look just fine with slacks and long casual skirts.

Best shoe ever! I've never owned a pair of Danskos. When I recieved the first pair they didn't fit properly. But The team at Zappos insisted I try a larger pair. They sent them to me the next day. I love them so much! I wish I could where them every where. My feet feel so good each day I never want to take them off. You owe it to your feet to at least try a pair out. Thank you Zappos. I'm a costumer for life!

I love these shoes!! From the first time I put them on, they felt custom made. I do a lot of standing and walking and at the end of the day I notice much less leg and back fatigue. I wear an 8.5 and have medium to slightly wider feet. I bought the 39. I would note that these shoes may not work for people with a high instep as the the vamp cuts right across this area. They are a quality shoe. Great with jeans or cute with tights and short skirts.
