Love the Dansko Professional! This shoe fits great with my Smartwool socks and is super-comfortable. I'd definitely buy it again and in different colors. I have other pairs, also in the same size, 38. I find that with both Dansko and Ecco, I wear 38 with socks and 37 without. Typically, in US sizes, I'm a size 7.

Try them and you'll love them! Excellent shoe. Incredibly comfortable. I have wide feet and these fit me very well. I get lots of compliments on them.

Really the perfect shoe for medical professionals - I am a medicine resident, and I developed a very painful flexor tendonitis and heel spur in my right foot after walking around for several months in shoes with thin soles. Someone recommended these shoes, and I found them for a bit less on Zappos. They fit snugly at first, but then stretch a bit. The backs are straight and smooth so they slide up and down a bit on your heel when you walk, but not very much, and they never cause any irritation to the heels. It's made from good-quality leather, so I am not embarrassed to wear them with dress pants. A good investment for medicine residents.

Get 1/2 up - I've had my pair for 5 years and finally had to get a new one b/c I wore the old ones down. I had a size 36 (I'm US 6.5), so thought I would order the same size, but when I tried on the new 36 pair, the shoes felt tight. So, if you wear half sizes US, I would order 1/2 up (i.e. get 37 if you're size 6.5). Otherwise great shoes; comfortable, gives you height without killing your calves.

Dansko Heaven - Dansko's are a Dream, this is my sixth pair, I love them. Usually I wear a size 41 and like the comfort of a wider fit, but this style is only available in medium width so I tried size 42, they feel good, but wider styles would be wonderful.

Great shoes - This is my 4th pair of Dansko, I really love this color, they are a little bit more unique and more fun than the regular ones.

Excellent shoes - The best shoes that I have for the comfort of my back and feet.

These were recommended to me by a coworker who worked as a flight attendant for years. I figured that if flight attendants and nurses can tolerate long hours on their feet in these, they might be right up my alley! Adding a couple inches to my height wasn't a bad deal, either. It took about a week of working forty hours on my feet to fully break these in. They are a little stiff at first, and the arch padding is rather prominent, but after a few weeks of consecutive wear I have stamped them into submission with my flat feet and the shoe cups the curve of my foot as if I had custom-fit insoles in there! They are pleasantly wide, and due to the purposely loose-fitting heel I have no pinching and no blisters! The only issue I had was sizing, as the EU40 recommended for US10 seemed very, very small/short: I had to return and re-buy them in a bigger size three times before I found my size. (Not good for an impatient girl like myself, but I lived.) I usually wear a US 9.5-10, but in Dansko world I appear to wear a US12/EU42. If you can afford it, buy a few sizes at once (knowing ahead of time you will be returning something) so you don't play the return game for weeks at a time! Aside from the initial size hunt, these are great. I expect to have a very long, comfortable relationship with my new shoes!

Instant comfort - I have to say I was very impressed by these. They were instantly comfortable. So far I've only worn these with jeans and can't really imagine they'd look good with anything else, but I could walk all day in them. Even though wide widths aren't offered and I have an extra wide foot, there was plenty of room. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but ordered a size 41 and they fit perfectly.

Love my Dansko's!! On the advice of a friend I ordered my first pair and I loved them right out of the box. Looks great with professional attire and with jeans. I think I've worn them every day since I've gotten them. I usually wear a 91/2 - 10, but the 40's felt a bit short, so I reordered the 41's and they fit great. My favorite pair of shoes. Love Zappos!!

After 2 tries for sizing, I finally found the right pair! I ordered the narrow first, since most clogs seem to be too wide for me, but they really hurt my instep; so I ordered the regular in size 41 (I wear a size 10) and after a couple of times wearing them, they are perfect!! I work 12 hr shifts, and my feet and legs feel great!! Great shoe with just a little time for breaking in; and they weren't too wide, either. In fact, they felt a little narrower than most clogs.

Favorite shoe - These are my second pair of Dansko clogs and I hope they last as long as the first (4 years!). Felt great from first wearing, however, after just two weeks I am disappointed that the Cabrio color is showing a lot of nicks and scuffs right away (my first pair was black and never showed such wear and tear). I want to mention I ordered one pair in my size and when they came they were too small. I reordered second pair in same size and they fit fine. Of course Zappos return policy makes all of this possible....now I just need to get myself to the UPS store.

Highly Recommended - These shoes are comfortable and functional. They also last a long time (I had another pair which I wore for at least 4 years.)

Nursing Alert! These shoes rock! I work 12hr shifts 3-4 days a week in a very busy PICU hospital, and these keep my feet from aching. I would recommend these highly. They take getting used to the heels slipping up/down (like a normal clog), so beware and enjoy them!

Classic - These are the fifth pair in a series - Since I bought my first pair a few years ago I just need them! I think they look great with slacks, jeans and casual dresses. Since they're easy on and off, I keep a pair for the dog park and another for class and work. They're comfortable, classic and oddly hip. As for size, they're not supposed to hug the heel so I take a 39, even though I wear a 7.5-8 American size.

Best Shoes Ever - I knew that I would be doing a lot of walking in Paris so I bought the Cabrio specifically for my trip. These shoes were more comfortable than tennis shoes. I have lower back pain if I walk too long but these shoes made me feel that I could walk all day long and I didn't have any back pain when I went back to my hotel room. Thanks!!

Excellent Foot support - What I like about this shoe is that I feel like I am propelled forward in a comfortable way as I am walking. It is almost like a gentle rocking motion that keeps my feet going heel/toe...heel/toe instead of my whole foot feeling jarred by every step. I think it is a good shoe for people on their feet for much of the day. If you want something soft and cushy I don't think this is the shoe for you. This shoe offers very excellent support but in a firm way. Don't expect this to feel like a sneaker. This is great for walking on hard smooth surfaces. I notice my arthritic knees do not ache at the end of the day if I have been wearing this shoe. I have owned my pair for two years and they are just worn a little at the heels. I am just a size 8 with a slightly wide foot. In this shoe I am a 38. I had a pair of Dansko open back clogs (Sonja) which I wore at least four times a week for 5 years until they were worn out. I was thinking of getting another pair of those since I liked them so much.

This shoe is great! Thanks for the advice on sizing. It fits great, feels great and I can't walk or stand forever in these. As always- Zappos is the best!

I love these shoes for my job. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. I love them so much I just bought a new pair for work and a pair for home. I did forget how they take a little while to break in. I had my last pair for more than 3 years.

Great Show - Slightly Different Fit - It seems to me that this particular pair of shoes is slightly more narrow in the toe box. I have six pair of Danskos and they are all great, but I was a little disappointed at how tight these shoes are compared to the other shoes when they were new. I'm wondering if there has been some change in the design/fit?

"Mom shoes" with shine - These are essential for pregnancy - really supportive and comfortable. So much so that all the mothers I know have kept purchasing them long after they give birth. The back of the clog means you can sprint after a toddler at the drop of sunhat. Bonus: the heel and sole give me a little more height!

Dansko Professional - It's amazing how comfortable these shoes are. I can be on my feet all day with no problem. The cordovan color is a nice neutral and a change from black. The shiny finish gives it a look that's a bit dressier. Great with long pants, and they give you a bit more height. Love these shoes! It did take two tries to find the right fit. I wear an 8.5, and needed a Euro 40 in this Dansko.

Ease my back pain. I got these shoes after I got news that my spine was riddled with degenerative disks and arthritis. It’s almost impossible to have bad posture in these. The fit was a little weird (largish) until I got used to them, but they are really quite comfortable, and easy to walk in. Don't let the hardness turn you off of them. The contoured insole perfectly supports and eases stress. Plus, they are really cute!

Great Shoes - These are the best shoes for running around on your feet all day. I'm a nurse and couldn't live without them during my 12-15 hour days. My only (minor) complaint is that the cordovan color wears off more easily than others, but cordovan polish is easy to come by so it's not that big of a deal. I also have a pair in black (box leather) for every day wear that I love. In nursing school, I sprung for the white box leather (we had to wear white shoes) and it was love at first step.
