I finally accepted that I just can't stand clogs with backs, even though both Dansko and Sanita makes ONLY that style in narrow, which I need. What's with that? Why no stylish narrow sizes? My solution has been to order styles with straps and tighten the straps, but it really doesn't help much, so I walk around in clogs that slip off my feet continuously. But they're great when they're on, if you get my drift! One comment about this pair: they do not look AT ALL as they're pictured here. They are solid brown, almost black. I wonder if I was mistakenly sent the wrong color, because I wanted something to contrast with my very similar Sanitas. Weird.

Ordered this clog in the antique brown/black and I'm sending it back because the color is totally off. On the Zappos website the color is MUCH lighter than what I got, which is a very dark brown (I actually thought they had sent me black by accident but the Dansko box says it's brown/black.) Fit and quality of the clog seems good but just be forewarned that the color is really different than what you see on the website.

I have been wearing my professional clogs non-stop, so I decided to purchase a pair with an open back and a strap (mules without straps feel like they are falling off). My professional clogs are size 38, so as was suggested, I ordered a size down, a 37. They were too tight, and a Dansko that is too tight is definitely not a comfortable shoe. A 38 feels good, and I was able to adjust the heel strap so that it is not too tight or loose. I'm sure that I'll get a lot of use out of them this spring and beyond--worn with tights or trouser socks when it is cooler. My only complaint is the color choices: brown and black. Mine are black because my professionals are brown, but I really wish they came in navy or grey or something other than black. That's why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.

I bought these shoes for their arch support but was worried about whether or not I would like the look of thm. Turns out I actually like the style, but I have high arches and therefore a high instep, so I can't get my feet to slide all the way in. I'll unfortunately have to return them and keep looking.

I found these shoes stiff and clunky and if given enough time they would break in but I didn't want to go thru that . That are very pretty on my feet.

I love this clog, but I ordered a size down and had to return it for the larger size. Wearing socks may make a differene!

I was looking for a supportive, sturdy clog with a classic look. I'm typically a solid size 10. I have short toes, between wide and regular width feet. I ordered the size 40 (9.5-10) and they were too small for me. My heel hung over the back edge of the clog by about 1/2 inch. I have normal arches, but the shoe seemed tight over my instep and didn't offer as much arch support as I had hoped. Overall, the shoe appeared to be well-made, but too small for me. I'm returning for the next size larger and crossing my fingers.

I ordered a brown pair of these and liked them so much I ordered them in black too. Unfortunately, the holes in the adjustable strap are not punched all the way through so I can't adjust one shoe. I'm returning them for another pair. Hopefully these will be better. I'd rather not have to punch holes in shoes I've paid $115.00.

I love Dansko, but these were tight and too small, even though I wear the same size in the closed heel clog. There's no way I could have work socks with them.

These are super cute and I wish they worked for me. I had a few problems. 1, the footbed, while very cushy, was strangely slippery. My feet slid around a bit if I wore these shoes without socks, and it felt like I was going to twist my ankles. 2, the leather felt stiff and the toe area somehow didn't fit my feet very well. Disappointed to be returning these.

Comfortable for my wide foot, but not as secure as my Dansko Pros. I keep falling out of them which is painful. Think I'll have to stick to the ones with backs.

These clog type shoes are true to size. They are very comfortable and the finish, a bit "worn" looking, is stylish and versatile. I am happy with this purchase.

I really like the Dansko Ingrid. The down side to this shoe from my perspective is that they are a little hard to keep on my feet when walking unless I wear a medium to heavy sock with them. They feel like they are the right size - just the right amount of room in the toe - but I think they might be a little wider than other Dansko styles. I always wear a 37 in Danskos, and I believe that 37 is the right size for me in this shoe as well - a 36 would have been too short and my heel would have hung over the back. For that reason, I'm stating that the shoe feels true to size but indicating that it feel wider than other styles in the same size. I might try a thin insert at the front of the shoe to see if that stops the slipping. The style is great! I'm keeping them and will just work to find a solution to the slipping.

I have purchased the Sonja for 15 years and went with a pair of Ingrid when they were on sale. The comfort is the same but I think the toe box is a bit more roomy-making the shoe look much larger then the Sonja. I don't work on my feet but love to walk miles each day and these shoes are perfect. If you don't like to wear athletic shoes to walk these are the ones for you. They quickly form to your feet and last for years.

I ordered these clogs because they have a nice simple style and i thought they would be comfortable. The style is nice but they are only somewhat comfortable. I will be sending them back and keeping a similar pair made by KLOGS that are much more comfortable. Thanks!

I work as a massage therapist and stand around a table all day. I've previously worn Birkenstocks, but really liked the look of these shoes. While these are great for me to wear on a Saturday night out when I'm walking around they are NOT good for my work. I found the footbed to be way to hard and after a few hours my feet began to ache and I had calf cramps in the middle of the night. I also adjusted my body mechanics with my achy feet and needed a massage myself when my back started to ache as a result. A break in period might help, but I'm not sure that I want to try this when I can revert to Birkenstocks for work. Beautiful shoes to wear out, just not for ME for work.

I wanted to love these but they run small. I am a true size 8 and I couldn't even fit the left shoe on my foot. I am returning for the next size up, 39.

Dansko Ingrid - Purchased this shoe for working in kitchen at our restaurant. Provides much needed comfort for standing for long periods.

Like the Look - I really liked the look of Ingrid when I received them. The only problem was they fit a bit smaller than my other Dansko clogs.

I LOVE, LOVE these boots. They are DOPE! They run big ...I normally wear a 9 but I fit into the 7's and they are still a bit roomy. I ordered both sizes a 7 & 9 and then 7 was perfect. I have rec'd so many compliments on them already. They are super comfortable and adorable with skirts and great with jeans. The leather is of great quality and the boot is fantastic overall.

Great clogs - Clogs are very comfortable. The look is plain-exactly like the picture. Good for casual-on-your-feet-often kind of days. Really really like them.

Squeaky comfort - I am a nurse and am on my feet 12 hours at a time. They are very supportive, but my feet don't get as hot because they are open in the back. Also, by putting the strap around my heel, my foot is secured and does not slide around like most clogs. They are the only shoe I use for work. My only complaint is that they squeak for the first few weeks and the US to European conversion was not accurate.

Comfortable shoe, very stable and slip resistant. I think I could run in these shoes. However, I am still breaking them in. My high arches are making hard for my foot to go all the way down into the shoe. Maybe I am in between sizes? The shoes look great with jeans.

Great, but not as comfy as the professional clogs - I wanted something a bit different from the style of the Dansko professional clogs, so I tried these. I love them, and they are comfortable, but not as comfortable as the Dansko Professional clogs. Those are like slippers to me and have been since day 1. I think the opening where your foot goes in is not as big on these. Hoping that they will stretch out in time. Danskos in general run a bit small, so order up a size.
