Shoe for all seasons- I got these shoes to replace a pair I have been wearing for about ten years (!) Love them! I originally bought a pair of Dansko on the recommendation of a friend. I was working in retail, on a concrete floor and running or walking sneaker type shoes weren't cutting it anymore. Sore feet, sore legs, sore back. After I got things on it was ALL better. They’re kind of cute, too. I feel the sizing is off, though. I wear 9 1/2 American and 41 European fits exactly.

All day comfort- This is my first pair of Danskos, and I wonder what took me so long. I can wear this clog all day on hard floors, my bunion doesn't ache, and it has great arch support for my high arches. The oiled leather is soft, and the scratches do rub out, but you may have to get used to the constant scratching of the leather when you hit your foot on anything. Buy up a size.

Terrific shoes - Very comfortable and versatile

Dansko Ingrid - oiled brown - Love these shoes - comfortable. It did take me 3 sizes to discover how much I liked them though. I wear an 8 and tried 38, 39 and 40 - I ended up wearing the 40. Thank goodness for Zappos ease of return!

Far Better Than Expected! I ruined my feet last year by buying cheap shoes to save money. I logged onto this web site by accident with plans to do the same. Then I started reading the reviews of various shoes and realized that I needed to make an investment in my feet. I am on them twelve hours on most days and have to do a lot of walking. Since last year, I've experienced numerous blisters, calluses, and extreme pain. I was desperate and decided to take a chance with Dansko. When my shoes arrived today, I put them on immediately and my feet SANG! Perfect fit and they are not clunky looking. Actually cute.

Former Skeptic - I bought these solely because I like to cook, and on weekends am often standing on a hard tile surface for 8+ hours. At the end of the day my lower back and legs would be aching. I was skeptical because I've never thought of clogs as being very comfortable. I was delighted to find that after standing in them for 6 hours my back and legs weren't tired at all. As for fit, as many others have said, they seem to run a little small. Not quite half a size, but somewhre near that. My foot measures slightly smaller than 8.5. I don't like to wear socks so I bought a 38. They're just barely fine with thin or no socks. I have very high arches and love the support. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I still don't find them particularly comfortable to walk around in (other than around the kitchen), but I'm ecstatic that they're perfect for standing on hard surfaces all day. As for looks, well, that's not why I bought them. I don't wear them out of the house, but I have to say, for clogs they're pretty cute.

Queen of Clogs--a Dream Shoe - Love this clog--wish Dansko would make more with the strap that can go around the heel--much more stylish look than the Professional. I would like more colors (burgundy, deep plum, forrest green, dark taupe or beige, or the shiny black leather). Fabulous comfort for hours of striding along in style!

Sweet Relief! I have a very high arch and a somewhat wide foot and always have a difficult time finding shoes that I don't want to kick off five minutes after slipping into them. I was extremely happy when I put these on and they were immediately comfortable. After wearing them for only a few minutes, it felt like they molded to the shape of my foot. I wore them all weekend and they served me well through several hours of holiday shopping. I actually find them more comfortable than going barefoot and better than my slippers. They are very versatile and look great with jeans. I love that you can swing the strap around to the back so you don't have to worry about your foot sliding out. I'm taking a trip to Italy next month and am happy that I have a shoe I will be able to wear without the pain I suffered when I was there this summer because of my poor shoe choices. I held off on buying these initially because of the cost but these are quite possibly the best shoe investment I have ever made. If you're looking for a cute and extremely comfortable shoe, snatch these up!

Dansko- I bought these since I loved my black pair so much I wanted another color. I bought the brown pair. Dansko is a very comfortable shoe; I am on my feet all day long. I buy the open back clogs so I can slip these on easily. My feet are very comfortable all day. I will probably end up buying some more colors. They stay nice looking even though they have been worn in rainy weather. I have wide feet and these seem to be pretty comfy even on the first break in day.

Dansko Lover- I have problems with my feet, and have had to wear inserts for a number of years now. Now that I have discovered Dansko products on the Zappos website my feet are no longer in pain, and I no longer have to wear shoe inserts. The only problem I have now is I wear a narrow women’s U.S. 12 and wish Zappos carried more European size 43 closed back Danskos. Until then, I primarily wear Danskos open back clogs in the available size 42. I would love to have more closed back Danskos in size 43. A closed back Dansko shoe in size 42 is too tight.

Dansko Ingrid- This is the best shoe. If it were a little less expensive I would own them in every color. I wear it everywhere and all the other shoes I own just sit in my closet.

A very good product for the money.

Very pleased - This was my first pair of Danskos. I have a high instep, high arch, and suffer from back pain. These clogs are very comfortable and I wear them all over! They provide excellent support and it seems as though they provide shock-absorbtion when you walk on ceramic tile or other hard surfaces. I would definitely buy more of these!

Dansko Ingrid - This is a very comfortable and good-looking shoe. They were comfortable the first day of wearing. They go with everything, even tights and a short skirt, and are a preferable style choice to athletic shoes when you are running errands around town and don't want to be thinking about what shoes to wear. The all-leather interiors are a blessing for foot health and comfort. Thanks, Dansko and Zappos!

Met my expectations. The first 3 or 4 days I wore my Dansko's I thought I might have spent too much on a pair of shoes that were just a bit uncomfortable. However, after giving them time to break in they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I took them on a trip to New York City and walked for miles and miles. I will definitely buy another pair when it's time for new shoes.

These shoes are so great - I really put Zappos to the test on this one. I returned my shoes 4 times and finally ended up with the size I ordered the second time. They run slightly (about 1 size) small. I wear a 38 in Birkenstock and ended up getting these in a 39. They are so comfortable. I am a medical assistant and am on my feet a lot and these are the best and they look good too.

Comfortable and Stylish - After wearing out my Whtie Mounta clogs, I purchased 8+ other pairs of clogs from a variety of brands. After shopping and failing at countless stores and websites, I turned the work over to my 16 year old who quickly found these shoes on her first try. They're the best I tried on: comfortable and stylish. Definitely recommended!

Great comfort, but strap is not very useful - Dansko provides the best support out there, makes wearing non-Dansko shoes seem like torture, especially if you're on your feet for long periods of time. To think about before buying: I thought the strap would provide a little more security, but they don't stay on my heels. As such, the shoes aren't great for walking long distances or walking quickly because you have to work to keep the clog on. Size-wise, I took advice from a review and purchased a 38 even though I am a 6.5. This has worked out well, but now, a year later, I find that the leather has broken in and a 37 would probably be fine now. I've also found that the shoes have worn extremely well over time and look almost new. As usual, Zappos service was excellent.

Dansko's Ingrid - I never knew a shoe could be this comfortable! This shoe is like an orthopedic shoe only stylish. I worked 10-12 days on my feet in this shoe. Sturdy, durable and molds to your foot for even more comfort as you wear them in. I sprayed mine with stain and rain repellent and I wore mine in winter weather. A great buy! This shoe gets a 10 stars for comfy, you can walk for days!

Wonderful shoes - I put these shoes on and went to work for 9 hours. They were so comfortable. I had no problem at all with discomfort or blisters. I would highly recommend these shoes!

Pain Free - After wearing these shoes for some time the pain I always felt for years in my arch and heel completely stop. I have no desire to visit the foot doctor any more.

Took them out of the box and wore them for a 12 hour shift. Felt great! This is my second pair of Dansko shoes. Love the style.

Yeah, Dansko! I love these! I have a very difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable (from the get-go) as well as stylish. I have arches that ache, toes that can go numb and the balls of my feet are tender. Dansko Ingrid's are the perfect shoe for these ailments. I find them to be very comfortable sans socks and heel strap, but also just as comfortable with socks and adjustable heel strap when weather or wardrobe demand. I wear an 8 to 81/2 (medium width) and found these (size 38 UK) to be a true fit. I purchased black, but will likely order brown to complete my living and travel wardrobe. Thank you Zappos for super speedy delivery and as always, the convenience of shopping online.
