I have a full boot version of the Giant and love it. However when I got the lace up version it was different. The toe was rounder and the leather was harder and lighter in color.

The last 2 pair of boots became uncomfortable due to the innersole bunching up and putting pressure in certain areas of my foot and hardening in the area which it shifted from. They have changed to a paper style insole that does not last.

I was very happy when I first bought these I went out six months later and bought the low cut version. However the sole below the front toe is disintegrating (turning to dust) I wear these boots 2 months a year for hunting.

I bought these a few years back, however didn't wear them until recently. After 6-7 times of wearing them the rubber on the front part of both boots came loose.

the good ;my order came thru quickly . the bad ; there was no covering over heavy stitching near the back of my heel . 2 hours after wearing them I had a blister . not too happy. had to go out and buy stick on protection for that area of the boot which to my surprise has no lining whatsoever .

Am disappointed that the boot I bought last year is no longer available. Will continue using it until I find a suitable replacement. Used to use this model all the time because of price and partial (if not total) reimbursement, but the model I am using now is such a superior boot both in comfort and insulating value for the price I paid.

Received a pair of the 6" work boots for my birthday recently. Same good quality as the previous Georgia Boot purchases. Love them, but..... they arrived with no insoles! I seem to remember the previous two pairs came with insoles. My wife wrote an email inquiry on the topic, and we received a return label with no explanation. Were these meant to come with insoles?

Thinking mine slipped through the QC process. Havent even worn them 5 times and the rubber above the sole is already coming unglued.

Poor quality control from the manufacturer. I understand that natural leather has imperfections but the pair I received looked like two completely different boots. The left boot's leather was lighter in color and smooth. The right boot was much darker and the leather was "tumbled" or "pebbled". Besides that the D size I got felt like a EEEE. Zero support and the soles have a cheap, light, brittle feel. I'm aware that you get what you pay for and have many more expensive boots but these aren't even worth the lower cost. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I purchased this boot based on the weight , the sole construction , and the available steel toe . I wore the boots around the house for an hour or two for a few days prior to wearing them to work . Within two hours my heel was raw and blistered .The problem stemmed from the stitching at the heel area . I have never had this problem with other footwear . These boots are in the job box and will likely stay there. Very dissatisfied and that will direct my next purchase

Wore these boots for one day. Mostly driving, by the end of the day I had blisters and tore my ankles up. Ive broken in ice hockey skates, cycling shoes, you name it. and never had such a bad experience. OUCH! If zero stars were possible that's what I would give.

I received my Georgia Big Boot in the mail about 2 weeks ago with hopes that I had found a good boot at a good price. I will say I was very disappointed.
Pros- I really like the looks of the 6 inch boot.
cons- Ooook, so I received the boots, I wear a hard plastic orthodic for both feet. I ordered a 15 ew hoping there would be no issues. The orthodic went in the right boot put my foot in and it seemed to be made for it. I am happy thinking all is gonna be good, so I try to put the left orthodic in and cant really get it in so I just slip on the left boot and can hardly get my foot in. I dont know why but this boot was way way like 2 sizes tighter on my foot without the orthodic. I wear the boots for 6 days, an orthodic in the right and nothing in the left hoping to stretch it out to no avail I broke down and took the boot to a local shoe repairman and had him stretch the left, he even commented on how much tighter it was than the right one, while there he asks if I want him to go ahead and put new eyelets in, I ask why he point out that there are 3 broken ones on the left boot and 2 broken on the right, really I wore them for 6 DAYS. it cost me an exytra 13 bucks to fix brand new boots.
So unfortunately my boots seemed more like a walmart brand than a brand that has been around for quite sometime, I doubt I will be buying another pair. I hope this helps others.
