Light weight overpronator - I'm a light-weight, over-pronating jogger who thought I'd stray from my Asics loyalty and try these- bad idea. The material feels cheap (but, they are leather-free). The size is accurate (ordered .5 size down) yet the shoe lacks all around support... I feel as though I'm jogging in platform boots!

Orthotics ready? The heel is very firm. Thank goodness for Dr. Scholls. Maybe it was made with orthotics in mind. If so, you will have to find your own.

I have very difficult feet to fit and have been happy with New Balance in the past. However the model I ordered previously is no longer available so I ordered this one in my usual size (12/4E). It is far too big and offered not nearly the support I was used to. I tried the 11.5/4E and it feels too small. This has happened to me in the past with Asics, Reebok and Brooks. I find a great shoe, then they stop making it and other models don't fit correctly. I'll be looking for another brand/model. Fortunately I know I'll find something on Zappos.

I bought these shoes primarily because they came in 13N and made in the USA. When I received the shoes, my first impression was that they looked like they were made with lower-end materials and when I tried them on they were extremely squeaky, even on carpet. The squeak comes from inside the back of the heel. I've now worn these shoes for several years they are still the noisiest shoes I've ever owned--just now only use them to mow the lawn.. If you don't mind squeaky shoes that looks rather cheap, then you might like these.

The shoe looks great and it fits perfectly, my biggest issue with these shoes is that they're incredibly loud! The plastics inside the shoe constantly squeak and creak with every step. I would consider buying a new set of shoes except that these started doing this within a year of purchase. Unless they improve the manufacturing of this shoe, I will not be buying it again.

Purchased this shoe at the end of October for my husband and he has only occasionally worn them. Unfortunately, the soles are wearing down already and they are making a squeaking noise when he walks. Expected more from New Balance and USA made product.

Wow, New Balance has fallen far. These are not at all like they used to be - they are hard, clunky, not supportive, some kind of synthetic material, strange toe "box." I am very disappointed and returning them. C'mon NB, you used to be great.

These shoes are junk. They are flimsy and they made me walk awkwardly. Granted that I am a large man, these shoes had less support than my Birkenstocks. On top of this, they squeak! Squeaking shoes! Perhaps my pair was a lemon, but I am very disappointed. I work hard for my money and am pretty upset to donate away a pair of shoes at this price. Unfortunately, I have to give the shoe at least one star to contribute - I'd prefer to give it zero. Boo NB!
