Dunham's Windsor Shoes - Very nice looking and well made. I wear a size 15B and I am very satisfied with these shoes so far, we'll see How they wear and how long they last as this is my first pair of Dunham's.

Lightweight and good support in sole and arch for extended walking/hiking. Waterproof should be an added bonus on a rainy day or wet trail.

Good fit, comfortable shoe - I bought this shoe mostly because it came in a 16B, but find I like the fit and finish very much. It has a nylon mesh layer between your sock and the shell that breathes well and allows your foot to slide easily into and out of the shoe. The removable insole seems well made and can be replaced with an orthotic if needed. As a nice touch, they come with a spare set of round laces, which are still hard to find on the open market where I live.

Dunham Windosr - I have a narrow foot. These shoes fit a little wider than the Rockport World Tour shoes I usually buy. These Windsors have slightly dressier stiching, laces, and leather finish, but are mostly comparable to the World Tours. The soles seem slightly stiffer, which is good if the fit is good to start with.

A great looking shoe for work or play. Found the shoe to be wider than other Dunham I have bought.

Other Dunhams have worked fine but this pair were uncomfortably snug on insteps with standard cushions removed, personal orthotics inserted, and laces tied. Will be returning.

Tight in forefoot area but roomier than the New Balance shoes I used to buy. Could use more cushioning. The laces suck and untie themselves frequently. If work didn't require an all black shoe I wouldn't buy these rather durable shoes, too uncomfortable.

These were the waterproof ones. I would have preferred the plain leather ones as the waterproof ones appear a little plastic looking.

I wear a 14 5E and have a squared off foot with a large arch. This is a good shoe and a decent fit, but a bit narrower in the toe than I would like; if I hadn't found the Drew line, I would have kept those.

I have bought these shoes for years. My new pair that I have only worn for a few days, is not as comfortable as my previous ones. I took there shoe insert out and compared it to my previous pair and it was not of the same quality. My feet did not used to get so sore at work in my previous pairs. I think it might have to do something with this new insert. Also they are slipping on my left foot and did not before. I work on my feet for eight hours a day, so I need something comfortable, and may look somewhere else for my next pair of shoes for work.

Definitely felt smaller than normal. The support on the back seemed just uncomfortable. I felt my toes touching and the toe box seemed small. Nice shoe and very well made, just not for me.

This is my second pair of this shoe. Bought a new pair for a European trip that just ended. As with my previous pair, comfort and fit was excellent. Unfortunately, found out that for certain kinds of surfaces these shoes not only have poor traction, it is so bad that I nearly fell many times. Previous use was almost always on fairly rough terrain such as city asphalt or concrete, and the soles are fine there. However, I was traveling in Southern Spain and Portugal, where the common city surface is highly polished marble. Even when dry, the plastic inserts in the heel essentially turn the shoe into an instant ice skate. When the walking area is wet, it is literally impossible to walk at all. Found this was also true on board our small cruise ship on wood floors. Not sure if I should just return these shoes or consult a lawyer for potential injury! They are that bad, really. Even scuffing them, which I did relentlessly, could not keep those plastic inserts from creating a shoe skate board that put me on my butt.

I would give this shoe 5 stars if it was not for the poor traction when indoors when wet. I have taken several falls in these shoes when coming indoors when the shoes were wet. I have worn this style shoe for more than 6 years. The best shoes I have ever worn for work, they keep my feet dry, wear them all summer and winter. I am a service technician and put my work shoes through hell daily. These shoes hold up great. Just be careful when wet - you can get hurt badly!

By accident I was able to compare this with the Propet Village Walker, which is also a diabetic shoe, and is mainly different in that it is not waterproof. The Village Walker is cheaper, much more comfortable, and does not have the very unpleasant smell of the Dunham. If you are not in special need of a waterproof shoe, I strongly suggest you try the Propet instead.

I am returning this shoe for two reasons: 1. It is a half size to short 2. It doesn't breathe as much as I'd like. My true size is around 12.5 A. I have a long narrow, flat foot. The width (B) of this shoe is better than most, but my big toes touched the front. The waterproofing is a plus for some, but may make your feet sweat. Because the width is true to description (which is saying a lot for narrow footers), I am sending back and ordering a 13 N. The shoe looks to be of good quality for the price.

These are certainly water proof provided the water is not too deep. The soles are a little stiff. My pair was not too comfortable to wear for the first few days. I kind of expect more expensive shoes to feel good. I bought some gel inserts, but they help only slightly. Some people like stiffer shoes, so there you go.

You don’t have many choices when you are a 4E. This may not be the most stylish shoe in the world but it works. I am happy this company is providing more choices where there are almost none.

Nice shoe but I need a shoe with good arch support and sufficient cushioning in the forefoot and heel. The Windsor is deficient in all these areas.
