I ordered a size 14 4E because of the condition of my feet. They have been injured and over the years I messed them up by wearing improper shoe sizes. ? So it is important to me that I have an excellent toe box. The 4E is too small so I ordered a 6E width. Hopefully it will do the trick. Pictures don't do this shoe justice. The finish is great. Fingers crossed!

The top of the tongue feels rough on the top of my foot out of the box. Will try to wear around the house to see how they feel. I like the look. Size 13 4E with diabetic neuropathy.

Nice looking and appears to be good quality. Unfortunately the extra wide isn't wide enough so they are being returned.

I've been having trouble finding narrow width shoes. This is the one brand and shoe that I've found that fits. Grateful.

First ordered size 9 and that felt too short. Then ordered size 9.5 and those shoes were long enough, but toe box was ok in width but rubbed tops of toes. No way to remedy that so returned shoes.

Bought a pair of these shoes 6 years ago and wore them every work day for all 6 years. Uppers still in great shape, shoes still function as originally found. I supinate when I walk and I have worn the outside edge of both shoes. Got the new pair and they fit true to size, true to width and with the same cushioning.

Had a pair of these that I wore everyday to work for over 4 years. They finally wore out. I am a neutral to supination walker and these shoes with an insert and I could go all day on my feet with little issue. The new pair fit exactly the same as the prior pair.

The fit is fine. I have 6E feet. It is hard to find shoes wide enough. These shoes are 6E as advertised. I like Dunham footwear, and it is nice to find a company that cares about people with truly wide feet. Most resellers don't offer anything over 4E, even if they are available from the manufacturer.
I used to wear orthotic inserts, and was told time after time that wider shoes wouldn't help. But once I found out about ordering from the factory direct, I get real fit, instead of retail shoes that "run wide" - a phrase I truly learned to hate. I haven't needed orthotics since.

Probably one of the two most comfortable pair of shoes (for fit) I have ever purchased. Not exactly "stylish", but I didn't choose them for style. Have not worn them through puddles... yet... but they seem to be waterproof in that they do not "breath" like most shoes. But other reviews warned of that and being waterproof is more important to me.
All-in-all, a good value and, as usual, very good service from Zappos.

Like the shoe, lightweight, but it is a little tighter than I thought. Not something you can slip on and have everyday use.

I bought these shoes based on the reviews it has earned. I am a Ghost Tour Guide and I walk about a mile across all types of paving twice a night, five nights a week. I am standing for 5 to 6 hours during my presentations so I needed a comfortable shoe. When these arrived I tried them on and they felt very comfortable and looked great. After completing my first tour I realized I was going to need a better insole than the ones that come from the manufacturer. After my tours were over and I got home, I removed the thin foam insoles that came with the shoes and replaced them Profoot "2 ounce" Miracle Foam insoles and "problem solved". I would have given these shoes a 5 star rating except for those original manufacturers insoles, (they were just to thin and as the outer rubber sole of the shoe is thin too, there just wasn't enough shock absorption for me).

The shoes look and feel great. Only problem is the shoe laces. They're too long and don't stay tied without a double knot.

I have used these shoes for several years and purchased a new pair to replace worn ones. Interestingly there was a very audible "squeak" at toe off at the end of stance phase of gait that would not resolve until I changed the inserts with a different type. Apparently the friction between the inserts and the shoe was responsible.

I don't really want to write a review for these shoes, because I've already bought two pairs and worn them for the past two years. If I write a positive review, then people are apt to buy them and then there might not be any left when I want to buy some more! These are the only shoes I have been able to find which fit my specs - Narrow width, lace up tight, good ankle support and also have room for my orthotics that either I wear or don't walk. They seem to last at least a year - which is good for me because I only wear one pair of shoes and they shine up nicely, and are casual office appropriate. The soles don't slip - so I can also wear them in the warehouse. Like I said, don't buy them - or if you HAVE to just don't get the 11B's.

These shoes feel sturdy, comfortable, and well-built, with good support for a lot of daily walking. They took a few days of breaking in, but now I really like them. They also seem to live up to their reputation for being waterproof, based on my limited testing. However, what keeps moisture out also keeps it in and these shoes can get sweaty and a bit stifling after you've worn them for an entire day. They're also on the heavy side, and probably better for cooler weather than warmer seasons.

This is a fine work shoe. I've been wearing them for about a month and a half and still has yet to show any wear. Would definitely recommend inserts for arch support, because this shoe has none. Aside from that it's water proof, stylish, and pretty cheap. A great shoe for a New York City commuter like myself.

Very comfortable shoes right out of the box. I ordered DD size because most shoes are a bit too narrow, but the toe box is very ample in size already. I would probably get regular width next time. The style is not a dress shoe. It is more of a work shoe design for people who are on their feet all day. I bought them for touring Europe and they should look alright with casual trousers.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my wide feet, and these do the job. For the first time in many years, I can wear thick hiking socks, which cushion my feet on a hike.

Value for price.
Break-in time minimal. Fit well and walked well for first three weeks. Because I'm 300 lbs and on my feet a minimum of 12 hours a day, the arch support didn't last. Stuck in my orthotics an all is fine. If you're over 250 lbs, they'll do fine for occasional use, else need a heavier arch support. The pair of Nunn-Bush I bought at the same time has worn better for me.

DUNHAM WINDSOR -
The shoe is a great, lower cost alternative to the more expensive DUNHAM brand shoes. The problem seems to be that the quality of the shoe does not seem as good as in the past.

I like it -
I like this shoe. I need a supportive shoe since I overpronate. The roll bar and padded collar are necessary to me before I buy.
Dunham & New Balance are my shoes of choice.

I have three pairs of Dunham Windsor’s- all 12B. They are all OK, but the first two pairs I bought, one black and one taupe, fit a bit better than this pair (brown). This pair is a bit narrower than the other two. The shoes are still wearable (with lighter socks) but I am disappointed that the fit is not more consistent.
