For 31 years, I have worn my Sorel boots.. I am thinking about buying another pair to replace my current pair. Not because I need to but I basically have worn them to the point, I need to. My boots still keep my toes warm. My only issue is that my original boots are White and I wish to have them in White again! Still pondering a purchase. Love Sorels...

Best boot I've ever purchased! Easy to get in and out of and keeps my feet very warm in the NE snow! I get a lot of compliments on these boots!

I did a lot of research on snow boots and I was planning on investing in a pair of these however as it turns out I received them as a gift from a family member instead. They are wonderful! Yes, they are heavy. Yes, they are bulky. But they are waterproof and keep the snow out of my socks so I don't care about that. These are definitely not a boot that you are supposed to wear all day unless you are outside. I usually wear them to and from wherever I'm going and change my shoes once I get there. Since getting these we've had 3 significant snow storms and my feet have stayed dry and I haven't fallen on the ice. I wouldn't say that I've noticed an incredible difference in the traction however they allow me to walk on the snow easily if there is ice to avoid it. They definitely run big, the reviews all said to size down an entire size -- I chose to size down a half size and I have more than enough room in the toe area. I do have muscular calves so I think sizing down an entire size would've compromised the fit there and I'm not bothered by the fact that they are a little big. I'm 100% happy with these boots and confident that they will last me for many snowy winters in New England.

I had heard so many great things about these boots--all Sorel boots, really--but I wasn't sure I was ready to spend that much money on a pair of snow boots. I can tell you they are worth it! I recently moved to Chicago, and while it's been a very mild winter without a lot of snow, I am so glad I have had these boots. I have poor circulation, so my hands and feet are always cold. These boots keep my feet and toes warm. I sized down from a 10 to a 9. I also have very wide feet, but that wasn't an issue for these boots.

This was my first pair of Sorels and I'm so glad I got them! I went back and forth before I bought them because of the price, but decided it was worth it. I live in the midwest and have to walk all over campus to go to my classes so having my boots makes it a little more bearable. These boots are very practical for a college student or anyone else who has to walk a lot in the snow. They keep my feet warm and dry which is nice when the snow starts to melt and it turns to slush. They are a little heavy and bulky but it's something you get used to quickly. I talked to one of my high school teachers about whether I should get them or not and she told me she had the same boots when she went to school and they are worth every penny. She told me they lasted a long time and she still wears them to work on the farm in the winter. These boots are warm, keep my feet dry, true to size and they seem to last a long time for most. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone!

I purchased these in a 9 instead of my usual 8.5 after speaking with a customer service representative. They fit like a dream. They are very comfortable, no rubbing or digging at the back of the ankles as is common in the Joan of Arctic boots from Sorel. I walk around campus in nasty blizzard conditions and have no problems with them. They are completely waterproof, extremely warm, a little on the heavier side but not enough to be annoying, and super stylish! I can't tell you how many people I have seen with Sorel boots on campus. EVERY time I go to class I spot at least three people with them. Us Northerners know our boots! Get them, you will love them forever and they will last forever.

I usually wear a size 7, so I got a size 7, and it fits perfectly. There's also enough room (but not too much room) to wear thick socks. These are great for heavy snow and prolonged wear outside. Forewarning that they are hard to drive in since they are large around your foot and the ankle isn't super flexible.

These are my first pair of Sorels and I am obsessed! I love them so much. I wish it would snow everyday so I could wear them. They keep my feet very warm and yes are a bit heavy but you do get used to that, I mean they are snow boots.. I ordered a whole size down after reading the reviews (I'm a 7 1/2, I ordered a 6 1/2) and my boots fit perfectly.

I cannot live without this boot. I live in Colorado and it can be extremely cold. I have a ranch and I am outside at least 3xs a day doing barn chores. I have had my boots for almost 11 yrs. just now I got a hole in the sole. I need to replace them ASAP. They keep your feet warm and dry like no other boot. Love, love them.

I wear a 7.5 I purchased a 7.5 because reviews said these ran big and were clunky. True. I have plenty of room in the 7.5 These boots offer a lot of room. Very happy with the fit of these. Haven't played in the snow yet with them, but I'm sure they will be great!

WIDE FEET-LOOK NO FURTHER!! I have tried so many boots to find one that was warm enough for Idaho winters and yet fit my wide foot. Could not find any at N Face, and tried the sorel joan of the arctic, tivoli and glacy. Other than the glacy and the caribou, the rest could not accommodate a wide foot. I chose the glacy as an everyday type waterproof winter shoe and the caribou for snow. Even with my wide foot I can wear smart wool socks. The boots are heavy, weighed in at 5 lbs and are cumbersome to put on/off but the comfort of a boot that fits my wide foot is so worth it! I am happy to finally have found a wide boot that is warm. I bought 1/2 size smaller than normal if i don't buy wide and my normal size in a a wide width shoe.

I have been a fan of Sorel since I was in high school....ummmm that has been over 20 years. I just had to replace my 20 year old pair with a new one. These boots are made of great quality along with their cool stylish look. There was never a time that I didnt get a compliment! Love them and will continue to stay a fan. Great in the snow...rain...and cold. They are heavy at first but you get used to them quickly. I love them so much i bought my 8 year old a pair and she loves them just the same especially when we wear them together.

I've only had these shoes for about a month and a half but I am completely obsessed with them! The winters in Minnesota are very harsh and this winter is no exception. These boots have kept my feet warm in -25 degree weather and stabilized me on icy sidewalks. So if you live in the midwest and you're concerned about whether they keep you warm the inside is very well insulated with a thick inner sole and do a good job of protecting against cold weather. The quality of the boot so far is superb and they are really sturdy and constructed really well! I got these boots in the color buff and they have complemented all my outfits nicely. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and if you're on the fence of buying these, get them! They are worth the investment.

In all of my shoes I wear an 8.5. So I ordered an 8.5. I returned then for a 7.5 and they are perfect. I saw the fit thing on line after I got the first pair. It would have recommended an 8, which would still have been too big.

Great winter boot in function, style and warmth. I just underwent major shoulder surgery and bought these in Stone Black so I don't slip. Amazing traction so far. I usually wear a 7-7.5 (sometimes 8) and finally bought these in a size 6 after trying and returning 7's and 6.5's which were both massive.

I've been wanting to order this boots since last winter, finally got around to getting a pair. Originally got a size 9. Quality was outstanding, the materials and the warmth of the boots was excellent. I'm always walking around with cold feet and with these boots, no problem I had to return the size 9 and exchange for a size 8. Be aware that they are very heavy weight, a lot heavier than I expected, but I get a lot of compliments on them whenever I wear them, people want to know where I got them. I'm really glad I finally got them!

I was hoping to love these boots as the look of them are absolutely stunning. They are VERY well made and I'm sure they'd keep the cold out...But for me they are way too heavy and clunky, I mean they are like clown shoes and I couldn't imagine trying to walk or maneuver in deep snow with these things on. I live in Oregon where the winters aren't too crazy and I live in the Valley so for me to have this kind of boot is ridiculous, I do believe they would be perfect for Canada or Alaska or somewhere really harsh. The fit is weird also, it's a perfect fit but not, like it was hard to have a really thick sock on and then try to shove your foot into the boot, but once it was in there it felt fine and taking your foot out was annoying because the inner lining came completely out and I'd have to take it off my foot and shove it back in the boot, so I thought the size was odd. I think it'd be good to go half size up in my opinion. Overall I still think this boot is badass, just not for me. Hope this helps :) I do think it's worth every penny though and the build of the boot is insanely good.

These run large. Rather than going down a half or full-size and gambling on the fit, though, use the size chart and get the right size! I went that route and the boots fit perfectly. The boots themselves are a bit heavy but they're very, very warm and completely waterproof.
