Wow. I got these in Black Nappa 1460W and I'm so glad I did. They were pretty comfy right out of the box. I'm usually an 8 1/2 so I ordered these in a size 8 UK and they were perfect. I only wore them around the house a couple of times, and then wore them all day at a music festival with nothing but tights on my feet. Not one blister or breakdown did I get! They look exactly like the smooth leather and if you didn't touch them with your hands you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. These are so much softer and easier to break in so I highly recommend the Black Nappa's for comfort and style. Best shoe purchase I've made in a long time. Thanks Zappos!

Excellent! Fun! Fashionable! My daughter loves these boots. She gets compliments on them every day at school. In the past when I ordered from Zappos things arrived the very next day I guess I didn't qualify for free next day shipping on this order - so that was a little disappointing as these were a birthday gift. But it wasn't Zappos fault. Zappos is a top notch company! It was worth the wait. She absolutely loves them. They look great with skirts, jeans and leggings.

Zappos was a great place to shop. Transaction was smooth from beginning to end. Knowing that if the shoe was not right for me when I got it, it was refreshing to know that I could send it back free of charge within a year time frame. The shoes I ordered are very comfortable. The break in with time. The may run a little on the large size. Just in the sense they do not squeeze your feet. The soles are really good if you have feet problems like myself.

I absolutely love these boots! I cannot praise them enough. They are so comfortable I wear them everyday and am sad that summer is right around the corner as these are so comfortable they are almost like my outdoor slippers and it makes me sad that it will be too hot to wear them soon. I have these boots in Napa Leather and just purchased the Dark Smooth Purple, I wish they carried the Pink in size 10 because I would buy those in a hot minute. I highly recommend these boots. You will not be sorry, you will just be sorry that you have to take them off at the end of the day because they make your feet feel so happy.

Everyone who has owned a pair of Docs knows there is a break in period, and it is not painless at all! However, if you can fake it till you make it, these boots will become the most comfortable boot you own. I wear them to every music festival I go to and am the only person who leaves with their shoes in great condition and no bruised toes when people step all over me. They are edgy, very durable and will last you a lifetime. I got my first pair in 8th grade. Now I am 26 years old, still have my Docs from 8th grade, still buying more!

This shoe looks just like I hoped. The main thing is that you have to break them in. You initially might feel like they are too small but you should wear them for at least 2 Weeks and you notice that they will feel better. I love these boots and I hope they last long.

Nappa Leather much easier to break in and I love the look of these much better than the shiny black ones. They take a little bit to break in so be prepared.

These are the cutest shoes I have ever owned! They are made of a very soft leather and have a comfortable, true-to-size fit. What a great combination of style and quality construction. I love them!

I think that Dr. Marten's are good boots and shoes because they come in different colors and designs. And they can be worn in all types of weather except the summer.

Just like the traditional 1460, only better! These are wonderful boots, soft and comfortable, and you have to love the flowers! I can't think of anything bad to say, buy them you will love them!

I ordered these in "Black Vintage Rose Softy T." They are beautiful! They are so stylish and like others have mentioned here they aren't clunky. I am a size 7 but have an extremely narrow foot. I ordered a UK size 5 (US 7) and I feel like they fit me correctly but I'm going to wear them around the house a bit to make sure. Also, make sure you wear some pretty thick socks. I have plenty of toe room but my heel rubs against the back of the shoe. I put on some semi thick socks and the problem was solved. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens so I'm not used to the feel yet. Still, nothing will make me part with these. They're just that adorable.

These boots are AWESOME! There is a bit of a break-in period when I got blisters on my heels, but now that they are nice and broken in they are VERY comfortable. Excellent boots, highly recommended!

These 1460 W's are a great pair of standout boots! I think I'll get a lot more wear out of them come fall/winter. Considering the price, they are definitely a purchase for those who already own a black pair (Dr Martens or otherwise). They took some breaking in, maybe 2-4 wears of a good amount of walking. Regardless of those few caveats, these boots will be a go to for me for years to come, built beautifully inside and out!

In 1994 I bought my first pair of Dr Martens at a shop in Covent Garden in London (UK). Old school I know! They were cherry red and man they were uncomfortable - hard on the soles of my feet. They took forever to break in but I adored them because they were rugged and lasted forever. These just arrived and they're squishy and comfy. The AirWair makes such a big difference. I wear size 7.5 US and ordered UK 5 and they fit perfectly (length and width-wise) with regular socks. If I wore thick winter socks, they'd feel a bit too snug. I don't feel the need to break them in at all! So pleased. They rock!

Comfy boot, however the patent leather version (I got purple), requires some breaking in. It's a nice fitting boot however, and it's comfy and a little bit more feminine than your normal Doc. You will have to remember to wear tall socks though, in order to avoid rubbing (ankle socks will mean rubbing on the heel), especially until you've gotten them broken in.

Love these! I usually wear a women's US 8 and they are a little loose but good for wearing thick socks with. The first day they were a little uncomfortable but broke in quickly. I have even been wearing them in the rain and they have been great for that. Love the way they look and feel!

Very light! Was very surprised about it. I'm used to the leather ones. Adorable boot, lovely grey! Goes with everything. I'm an 8 1/2 and a 6 UK fits perfect. Still breaking them in. Haven't walked a lot so don't know how comfy they are. They look amazing though!

These boots are pretty cool. The breaking in stage was a bit painful so since I got these a bit large, I just wore thick socks! I'm the only girl in school with these and I get compliments everywhere I go.

Love. I've worn them so much I don't know how I don't need a new pair. Bring it on Dr. Mart, I even bought a pair in a different pattern for my sister.
