These were not very comfy without socks. Plus they had kind of a wierd fit for me which surprised me considering the other good reviews. They were not as cute as I would have hoped either. I think I will stay with Sketchers for a nice slip on tennis shoe.

I have a wide foot. I ordered a wide but it's way too narrow. I only had one shoe on long enough to figure that out (5 seconds?). I think if it was wide enough I would have liked it.

I thought I would really enjoy these shoes. I had a really old pair of Ryka mules that I was looking to replace. After ordering and returning many many pair due to tightness, I settled on these because they weren't too tight; however, after wearing them for about 3 hours, my feet were really sore from slipping backwards in the shoe and rubbing along the outer top portion of my foot. I only hope I will get used to these sooner than later.

These don't seem as sturdy as my previous 2 pairs of W801s, and they run a bit on the narrow side.

I wear this size in regular NB shoes but this one is too tight even in a D width. I'm going to order the next size up and hope it fits better!

Let down by New Balance - These are adorable and just what I thought my teen daughter would love the convenience of slip-ons since she can't be bothered with unlacing her shoes. Major bummer that they are too small and 12 is the largest size available. Boo for NB, I expected better from this brand

New Balance shoes - These are comfy, however the appearance wasn't the greatest. I thought they looked cuter in the picture. Love them for slipping on and walking the dog.

Not quite as comfortable as NB 470 - After buying a pair of New Balance 470's, I found that my hip and knee pain from arthritis had lessened. The comfort coupled with the ease of putting them on meant that I was wearing them everywhere with every outfit, regardless of the "fashion statement" I was making. I had hopes that the W801's would be as comfortable as well as being more compatible with more outfits. Alas, it is not so. They are easy to put on, but they do not provide the same whole-foot support that the 470's do. I have to wear them sparingly to avoid the hip and knee pain.

Just not the same as the original - I have a pair of 801's from about a year ago that I adore. I was so excited to see the "same" shoe available in new and fresh colors! Bottom line though, this is not the same shoe at all. The new, synthetic upper is stiff and unforgiving and the style is not true to width at all. They are extremely narrow.

I am sad I got these in size 10 I don't know if I should have got these a half size bigger, but I didn't like how my feet felt in them. It hurt, and the material felt different. I fear I might get blisters the way they rub on side my feet and all. I am not saying go by what I feel. You may love them. Try them out if you would like to, because free shipping is awesome about Zappos. And I thank you Zappos for your amazing service and free shipping.

After buying 5 pr of NB 801s, this is my least favorite. The size was different from the others, they are so light weight that they seem cheap, and they just aren't as stylish as the others I've had. I loved the comfort and fit of the 801s but this pair was a huge disappointment

The left shoe seems narrower that the right. The area where the three seams meet goes right across my bunion and rubs quite a bit. I took out the innersoles and both shoes are somewhat more comfortable. After they stretch a little from wearing I hope they will be OK.

Too tight across the top of the foot. I don't have very high arches; not sure what kind of foot this is meant to fit. Ducks, maybe?

What happened to an old favorite? No arch at all these are no better than rubber flip flops...going back.

This is a sloppy, ineffective shoe. Won't stay on even walking across the living room. I miss the version number 470 of this shoe. That was a great shoe, which I still wear in the garden after four years or more.

I have two pairs of these shoes that fit. The pair I am returning today doesn't come close. I buy a B width; the ones on their way back are at least Ds, so wide they fall off my feet. I'm a fan of 801s but not of the recent steep decline in New Balance quality control.

Not the Same - I thank the review from NY. I too, bought this shoe a year ago and was excited to see new colors, and then found them to be uncomfortable. Obviously not the same as the original.

I have worn the new balance 802 for years. The 801 is the new version and they are just as great as the 802. I did take the advice of previous reviewers and ordered a 6 1/2 instead of my normal size 6. With a medium sock they fit perfect! They look good with shorts or jeans.

Just started wearing them the other day and now they feel like slippers on my feet. I especially love the fact that you can just slip your feet right into them and be on your way. That was one of the reasons I decided to purchase these sneakers.

I shop a lot on the internet, and I must say that ordering from Zappos was one of the easiest and most satisfying. The shoes I was looking for were quickly found, easily ordered and arrived at my door promptly...and at the best price I could find. When I look for shoes in the future, Zappos is where I'll go first.

Cannot believe the fast, fast shipping! Will definitely buy from Zappos again. I would probably go with the wider size next time. Would have exchanged but I had worn them out. Still love them!

These are the best shoes for those with plantar fasciitis. They are so comfortable! I totally recommend these shoes for people with foot issues and have difficulty walking. They also work for people with high insteps as well. Great shoe!

The shoes are just what I expected; I have had two pairs before them and I like how they slip on and yet have comfort. I do use a special insole in my shoes so I cannot comment on arch support. Zappos shipped them quickly.
