Attractive comfortable dressy loafer - Very nicely styled, true to size and comfortable. I feel good wearing these shoes.

AE Maxfields - All of my AE fits well, feels great and this one did not disappoint. AE makes a tremendous shoe & pretty much is the only shoe in my closet. The only complaint is I am a little bit disappointed in the look, not much just a little bit.

Nice shoe - Excellent quality and style. This shoe felt smaller than marked, which is unlike other Allen-Edmonds styles I have purchased.

Great looking! I just wanted something a little different and the detail on these shoes really hit the mark.

I am actually a little disappointed in the comfort of this shoe considering the cost. The right shoe fits snugger through the top of the shoe than the left. I find my Johnson & Murphy's a great deal more comfortable.

Not a Wall Street Shoe - I ordered these shoes as a second pair of black work shoes to wear in downtown Manhattan. I have other shoes from Allen-Edmonds. This shoe is NOT the quality of their traditional work shoes. It does not provide the comfort or support to handle city streets. It is nice looking and should be reserved for nice evenings out where you are relatively light on your feet.

These were the most beautiful shoes my husband ever had. But the first time he put them on was for a huge 25th anniversary party party in Washington DC. The heel fell off in 10 steps. Needless to say we returned them. I read another review with the same problem. What is the problem with the heels falling off? Still the most beautiful shoe he ever had. We might just try another pair to see if it was a fluke.

Thank goodness this shoe comes in a B width! It is one of the few slip-on shoes that I can wear with such a narrow foot. I love Allen-Edmonds!

Comfortable and true to size. I have a C width which is very hard to find. Love Zappos!

Good value, I have received several positive comments. I ordered a 3E, after reading the other comments, I usually wear a D. They fit perfect.

These are beautiful shoes and once broken in are quite comfortable but after light use over a month and a half the sole detached from the shoe. For shoes that of these price that seems unacceptable to me. I really love the shoes but the shoe failing with so little use was really heart breaking. Hopefully cobbler fixes and they are functional moving forward.

We think these are incorrectly sized-- definitely not an E width as ordered. Far too narrow for a size I've worn for years and much narrower than the second pair of AE shoes ordered in same shipment.

I've had several pairs of maxfield's, but this pair was incredibly painful. I tried shoe trees and a cobbler, but could never get them to loosen up across the toe box. Probably should have returned them earlier, but I kept hoping they would break in.
