These are good shoes but I am a little disappointed with the look as they wear. I expected more from such an expensive pair of shoes.

I love these shoes. They are top quality and very comfortable. I'd highly recommend them. I take a size 7 and have a narrow foot. This is the first pair of shoes I've had in years that I can say really fit. The inside has real leather. I've had no blisters at all.

I have many pairs of these shoes. I love the color but the fit seams off. I have worn them and broken them in but they don't seem to fit as good as other AE's.

I am in shock that this is EEE. Feels way smaller. Great quality, really saddened they don't fit.

I ordered my regular size/width. Felt good and looked good, but I could tell the shoes were slightly used (no AE shoe bag, slight scuffs on the sole...), so I returned them.

I don’t love them, and for the price I should. They are the right size toe-to-heel but too tall, so my heel lifts about a half inch when I step. An insert solves this problem but then causes the shoes to squeak like clown shoes, and this has not gone away as I’ve broken them in. They look great but I can’t recommend.

While the outside of the box was marked 10.5 E width, the shoes themselves were 10.5A width. Way too tight.

After experiencing the quality and differing style of Allen Edmonds, via the Lombard pair of shoes I bought a couple of years ago, I decided to stay with the brand when I was looking for a replacement pair of black dress shoes. After quite a bit of research, I decided to purchase a pair of Park Avenue shoes. I have to say that after a month of owning them, and having worn them about 5-6 times, I am not very impressed. Now, despite the existing positive reviews of this particular style of shoe on Zappos, I find this pair of shoes to run a bit larger than the advertised size, as well as feel wider than expected. Since all of the shoes, to include dress type, I have bought in the past few years, have always been size 12 and medium (D) width (to include the Lombard), that is exactly what I have ordered. The pair that I got did not feel as well-fitting as the Lombard, in the same size and width. Hence, the advice I would give to anyone considering purchasing this style - do try them on at a local store if possible. They may not fit you like other AE brand shoes. I would also like to add that as far as style and appearance go, I am not impressed with this particular line. The leather looks a bit cheap to my liking and the toes of the shoes seem to point upward.

I'm a fan of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues and have owned a couple pairs over the years. I recently ordered a new pair (same size, same last, same model number), but when I first tried them on, I knew that something was off as the shoes felt wider than my previous pair. I put on thicker socks and switched back and forth between the two pairs, and it was clear that my new pair had a much roomier fit, even though they're both marked as 10 Ds. Also, right out of the box, I noticed that there were a few creases near the laces on the right shoe. I didn't pay too much attention to them as I figured both shoes would accumulate creases as I broke them in. Unfortunately, after a solid week of wearing them, the right shoe looks like it's a year old and the left one still looks brand new. I don't know if my shoes are mismarked and of inferior quality, but they certainly aren't up to the standards of the ones that I've bought from Allen Edmonds directly over the years. My biggest regret is wearing them outside, as now I'm stuck with an expensive pair of shoes that doesn't fit or look quite right.

Shoes arrived with imperfections in the sole. Shoes are less comfortable than shoes I purchased 5 years ago for a third of the price. I'm glad that I woke up this morning with an email, despite not recalling to opt-in to marketing emails, soliciting my feedback. I would not recommend this product.

I really like the leather however there's absolutely no cushion in the soul which makes a very rough on your feet and extremely slippery. And increases in the shoe I really big

The product was advertised as size 10 EEE width but the marking on the tongue of the shoes showed 10 E making the width unacceptably narrow

Looks great, terrible shoe. It feels like you are standing on a metal ball the entire time. For as much effort they put into the construction, they have could have provided at least a foot bed with minimal comfort.

I thought this was a great fitting, stylish shoe however I was very disappointed with the quality of construction. In less than one year, the heel sole has completely come apart on both shoes and there is slight separation of the vamp from sole. This from wearing only three days a week. For a fairly expensive shoe, I was expecting quite a bit more in quality....

This is my 5th pair and the difference in break-in and comfort from the others couldn't be more different. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and can't wait to take them off at the end of the day due to pressure spots and irritation that I've never experienced from a pair of A&E's before.

I was sent used shoes. Probably used at least a month or more based on sole wear. $400 used shoes. Now I have to deal with this.

I purchased my pair of Allen Edmonds after hearing many good things however I thought I was purchasing a quality made shoe. I've had my pair about 6 months now and you would think that I have had them for 4 years. After about 3-4 months I had to take them to a shoe cobbler because the Sole was destroyed and now the leather keeps chipping and getting chewed up. To top it off I went to lace them this morning and the lace completely snapped in half.

Quality control non existent. Every pair I ordered was different. Like ridiculously different. Completely different cuts on the shoe.

I purchased the Park Avenue as my first pair in 2002 They are fabulous shoes I have subsequently bought 24 more pair Every time your company changed hands the quality of your shoes goes down You have gone from Excellent to poor in 21 year The last pair I purchased Cavanaugh loafers came apart after 20 wearings

Sole stitching started coming off both below and above the outsole. Sole coming apart at shank level. This after one less than a week's use. Too bad because there aren't many optiins for people with wide feet and fit is great.

Right shoe is unwearable. There is a crease with several lumps in the right shoe that I can't work in through normal wear and break-in. This is not the first pair of Park Ave's I have had this problem w either. But here is the kicker...now they won't even let you return them. In the past I've been able to exchange to get a pair that would work, but not anymore. I suggest anyone reading find another brand for your dress shoe needs. This is my 4th pair too. No loyalty.

The fit and quality were okay, but the style and comfort were awful. They look great in pics, but on the foot, they look terrible. The toe cap is much too short. They look old fashioned, and not in good "timeless" sort of way. In real life, the seam work looks industrial. They felt heavy and looked heavy. Clunky. They were not stylish and elegant. A fine leather dress shoe at this price should look and feel light. They were not easy to walk in. I had to pay attention to how I walked in them. Perhaps all this was due to the fact that I wear a size 14N. I understand that some of the proportions may get distorted when they get stretched out this far, so my experience might not be indicative of someone who wears a 10M. But probably not. I did also receive a pair of Bruno Magli Moccio in this same order and they managed to get 14N perfect.

So far this order was the only strike for Zappos of all the shoes I have bought. However, it might not be a Zappos problem but they took the return without question. I ordered the Park Avenue's but received the old Riverbend style instead. Not sure what happened there.
