These are great shoes!! I got turned on to Allen-Edmonds over 20 years ago and am now on my 5th pair. They are classy, comfortable, and they hold up well. I just replaced a pair that I have worn 3 days a week for the last 8 years. Granted, I did have to resole them twice. Once you try an Allen-Edmonds, you'll never be happy with any other shoe.

It's a nice shoe, but it's too big. I normally wear a 10W. I had to return a 9 1/2 EEE because it was way too big. Even the 9EEE is generous. This is a great shoe, and it's comfortable after it's broken in.

These are classy with a great feel. This is one of the best shoes I've owned. It is also one of the most expensive but may be worth it. Time will tell.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned. Granted my feet are fairly normal profile in width, volume, etc., or so one of the excellent shoe salesmen at a department store stated. These shoes fit me like a second skin. They are hands down, my favorite pair of shoes. I have never had a pair of dress shoes that I am as comfortable putting on as any pair of athletic shoes.

This is a great piece of leather. I had a pair for years. They were a 16 width fitting. They're comfortable, wear well, and repair (soles) easily. I would certainly buy them again. Me: I'm a 6'10", 300lb, aggressive walker.

The black AE Park Avenue is perfect formal shoes. The 65 last runs narrow, which applies to PA, Fifth Avenue, Strand, Strandmok. So size one up on Letter size, otherwise, a noticeable V-gap at the shoelace will be annoying. People with high-arch foot need not purchase. The leader sole can be slippery so the PA should not be a "travel/commute/everyday" shoes. Also, the leather makes noises when first worn, so either break them in or apply baby powder at the tongue. All negative aside, the Park Avenue are essential to any man's collection.

Overall this seems a quality shoe. I ordered an 8 B. Both length and width seem accurate compared to other shoes I've purchased. As with most dress shoes, the comfort level is acceptable, but does not seem to suit a lot of walking or standing. Construction of shoe seems hight quality. Durability of shoe is unknown at this point.

These are nice, comfortable shoes with more than a fair price/value ratio. The recrafting option is a plus; your investment lasts for the long term. These shoes are an "always win" acquisition.

My hubby says they are comfortable. They fit well, maybe a little bigger, but he also took the E width. They're very good to stand all day in. The toe box area already has a crease in them from wear. Maybe stuffing them will help bring that out. They aren't perfect anymore, but he enjoyed them for what he needed. The style was just right too.

I have worn Allen Edmonds for many years in size 8 1/2 3E but these are the first pair that didn't fit properly - much to my disappointment - way too narrow..

The heel began to fall apart after just a couple months - not at all what I expected from a pair of shoes at this price. I love the style and look but the quality is cheap - not worth the money. I won't be buying another pair of AE shoes.

This has a stylish design and is easily the most comfortable dress shoe that I own. But this pair of shoes came with no polish on them.

Unfortunately, the pair Zappos sent me was covered in a residue and had minor scuffs and abrasions, so I had to send them back. At this price point, the shoe shouldn’t have cosmetic issues like that.

I have had a pair of Park Avenues for 20 years. They are great. Very high gloss shine that looks great with suits. The problem with the Park Avenues I received from Zappos is that the surface of the leather is textures, not a flat glossy black. You can see it in the photos. If you go to the Allen Edmonds website the photos show a glossy black shoe. The shoes I got look like seconds. These shoes remind me of my "recrafted" Fifth Avenue Allen Edmonds shoes. They came back with the same (not as bad as these) textured surface which cannot be polished to a high shine. I wonder if Allen Edmonds sent recrafted shoes to Zappos.

True to size.

True to expectation...Allen Edmonds are the best. Unfortunately the D width was too narrow. Will wait till there is an E available.

Awesome shoe! Comfortable right out of the box and look great!
