Naot Bjorn report - Very good quality shoe. Versatile, but not clingy enough for serious walking. Very comfortable. Did have to return for larger size--no problem.

Naot Bjorn clog - This is a comfortable, relatively light clog. I like the suede insole, which keeps your foot from sliding around. I wear a women's medium width, so this is a bit wide, but the shoe stays on very well. Flat heel is very solid on the ground, absolutely no wobbling. Just what I wanted. (I also have a pair of mens Dansko new-style wider-heel clogs. The insole is very slick, so although they are comfy to stand in, they slip off when I walk fast. I also prefer Naot's flat heel.)

Great work shoe - I've gotten to the point that these have become part of my "office" attire for our business-casual office environment. I found the Euro 46 to be a better size than 45 which I ordered previously. I normally wear 11.5-12W comfortably.

Good looking shoe but run at least a full size, if not a size and a half smaller. Husband is usually a true 12 but based on reviews (thanks all!), I ordered a 13 for him and they barely fit.

I doubt that it is real leather started deforming like some kind of artificial material. looks good straight out the box.

These are very handsome shoes but they run *very* small. At least one size small. I was not able to even get my foot in half way so cannot evaluate comfort, width, or arch support.

I really love the style of these shoes but they were too short as my heal was tight against the back side of the foot platform. It was really difficult to determine if they would work out in the next size up. I thought I would give Merrell a shot as I have worn them for years and find them extremely comfortable.

Way too big and clunky. Length seemed true to size, but the fit was too loose for clogs. No comfy. Returned promptly.

I bought these for my husband. He has high arches. He is very picky about these shoes. He normally wears a 9.5/10. I ordered him a 43. He hated them. He said they were weirdly bumpy and too small. To me they looked a lot more distressed than in the photo.

Very narrow shoe

I purchased these shoes because of their styling and the story of their manufacture -- materials used, etc. I keep wearing them hoping they will "wear in" and make my feet feel comfortable. After about a month, they still do not make my feet feel good... As they cost a lot of money I will continue to try, but if I could return them today I would. I hope other consumers of this product have more luck with them.

I got these for my husband as a birthday gift. He usually wears Merrill clogs, but liked these because they could be used as a dress shoe. But they were too short, even though I ordered two sizes above what he normally wears. Sadly, these are going back.

I am a pastry cook and have worked in the industry for many years and have gone through my fair share of kitchen-friendly shoes (Birkenstock, Klogs, Oofos). I really like the foam type clogs, but decided to try the Naot Bjorn leather clog to treat myself to something a little nicer looking. Big $165 mistake. Although the shoes are easy on the eyes, they weren't easy on my feet. I have high arches and never had any issue with plantar fasciitis. I do now with my left foot afflicted after wearing these shoes for about 7 months. These shoes just don't provide enough arch support even though it has a conforming cork footbed. I really hoped that it would have "broken-in", and my feet would get used to them after -paying $165 for them- but the PF just got worse and I can't wear them anymore. I have an old worn down pair of Oofos which I have gone back to wearing until I get a new pair. All in all, a nice looking shoe, but for the price, it was a disappointing that it didn't provide the support I needed and actually caused me to develop PF.

I would really like to like these shoes. They seem like they'd be very comfortable and I like the way they look. Alas I am about to send back the second pair because even at a 46 (nominally a US size 13) they don't fit my US size 11.5-12 foot. There's no way I could wear the shoes comfortably with anything but the thinnest socks. They also feel rather narrow. I do have wide feet. The size 46 just received also has a minor manufacturing defect - an improperly sewn missed seam at the sole.

I've had this shoe about two years and was initailly very happy with them. However, as time as worn on the shoes have grown increasingly loud to the point that the squeaking leather is audible to anyone within 20 feet of where I'm walking. They remain a comfortable shoe, but I rarely wear them anymore.

I ordered 3 pairs of shoes. One pair fit-to size, Born Laughtons. I am returning the Naot Bjorn clog as it is too small. I cannot accurately review shoes that do not fit, therefore I rated it 3s below.

I have mixed feelings about these clogs. As a long time wearer of Merrells, I can't help but to use them as a comparison. Unfortunately, like so many other consumer products of late, Merrells no longer have the quality they once did. 4 out of 5 of the last Merrell orders placed with Zappos had to be returned due to issues with squeaking and clicking noises while walking, or uneven fit of interior parts. Actually, all 5 pairs had an issue, but my wife couldn't be troubled to return one pair. She now squeaks around the house in them. I thought to try Naots, as they seemed to have good reviews. The main difference in fit between the 2 brands? I would say that one walks in the Merrells, but stands on the Naots. The Merrells fit like a soft shoe, the primary flaw being that, regardless of size, your heel slightly rubs against the low back rim as you walk, eventually wearing through the leather there. The Noats always feel like they are too small when first putting them on, with your heel actually coming directly down onto the low rim at the back. After a few minutes, your foot slides forward into the pocket and you no longer walk on the heel rim. You now have the sensation that you are standing on a relatively flat footbed, with the mid foot tightly held by the elastic vented top (with plenty of toe room). Still, I find it challenging to walk any distance in this clog, as they are relatively stiff, and find them useful primarily for standing around on my concrete studio floor during the workday. This clog seems to require your foot to be firmly wedged forward into them. This causes me to periodically get the overwhelming urge to get out of them. This feeling is made worse by the fact that, with no ventilation, my foot suffers massive perspiration, even on winter days (I only wear them barefoot). My feet also perspire in the Merrells, but not as badly, as there is more air circulation inside, being a looser fit. Unfortunately, the Naots also developed a noise issue. I actually ordered 2 pair. Within the first couple hours of wear the first pair developed a loud squeak as I walked (much the same as the Merrells). I immediately returned the second pair. The issue seems to revolve around the rubbing of the inner footbed against the outer shell. Outside of this, the quality and construction seem good (and no...this is really not a lot of money for a quality shoe). In the end, I still favor the Merrells (regardless of price), but the quality issues of both these brands are distressing, but perhaps the norm these days for shoes in this price range. Top marks to Zappos, their return policy and service really do make mail order shoe fitting about as convenient as possible.

This is my second time purchasing these shoes because I liked them so much the first time and just wore them out. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the same size these shoes are noticeably smaller than the previous pair. They are at least a half size too small now. Plus the sole is different on the new pair and not as supportive.

I like the look of these shoes, 2 years later. When I first received them 2 years ago, they had clearly been sitting in a hot place for a while - the oils from the leather had all come to the surface and then hardened. I had to polish the shoes to get the layer of dull oil off. It kind of came off like sticky dandruff or something. I usually wear a 10.5, and ordered a 12 based off of the reviews. They're still too small. Even 2 years later. If you wear socks of any kind of thickness (especially wool - I mean, I wear these in the winter so I'm wearing socks), the top of the shoe literally hurts my feet and my heel hangs off the back of the shoe. The leather is thick, which is nice. However, it's so thick that it doesn't stretch, so 2 years later, they still are uncomfortable. When I originally bought these, I called Zappos to return the shoes and the person I spoke with said that since they were leather, they would break and get comfortable, so I kept them. Bad decision on my part. I'd love to order another pair that is bigger because I dig the look and feel of clog/slip ons. But not for $170. This is a $90 shoe, marked WAY up. Very disappointed.

Really disappointed....I had high hopes for these after wearing Merrells for the last 15+ years. As someone else mentioned, the toe box was definitely too small. My foot felt as if they were ready to slide out of the shoe despite the back of my foot still fitting inside the rear of shoe. I'd have to say the biggest complaint was just the comfort! The sole was not nearly as comfortable as Merrells I've worn over the years. I could not justify the cost v/s the comfort level, which just was not there. For $170 I expect a shoe to feel good after the 1st few times worn. Not these, I sent em back!

Very narrow, ordered 1/2 size larger than normal and still too narrow.

Great early on, but have grown increasingly loud and now persistently squeak with every step. Still reasonably comfortable, likely better options.
