Awesome shoes - you cant go wrong with the classics. I would have to say these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have purchased. Three pair have survived 2 years of high school and a year and a half of college for our teenage son. They hold up well. They even do well in the dorm washing machines. These have been worn pretty much every day, all day, for lots of walking and some running. The shoes do expand a small amount. We thought the second pair was a bit snug as compared to the first pair, and tried a larger size, but that was too big. WIth a few days of use, the original-size shoes loosened-up. So in the end, we think the sizing has been consistent over the years. Happy that these have been around for a few years that makes the decision making easier. I hope to be able to buy another just like this one in a year or so.

Good shoes. My husband works in a cabinet shop and he's on his feet for hours at a time. He has very wide feet, so it isn't easy to rely on true width & size without seeing them first. He's very pleased with these and good fit, too!

I've had them for a few weeks so far. Very comfortable. I got the 2E width and they fit perfectly. They look great and I've gotten compliments at work. Great service by Zappos, as usual.

Very comfortable, run slightly on the large size (I usually wear a 15 in New Balance, but a 14 fit me in this). Overall a great shoe, and a bargain!

Comfortable and they look great for casual wear with jeans. I'm actually wearing them now. Been wearing them for years now. This the 4th pair I have had.

These were purchased by my 16 year old son. He loves them and his 21 year old brother saw them this weekend and thought they were great. The sticker on the tongue that is like the ones found on new baseball hats is really a new look.

I have been wearing New Balance M574 shoes almost daily for the past 10 years. These are very comfortable and well-ventilated. The generic style looks great with any outfit. I occasionally try other shoes to add some variety but I am always disappointed. These are simply the best!

I have some sort of pontoon boats for feet, and the EE wide is a perfect fit. This is probably my 6th pair of 574's and obviously I keep coming back for not only comfort, but looks and durability as well.

I have had great luck with this shoe choice. Great stability. I was an avid fan of Asics before trying these out. These are way more firm and stable for my ankles than Asics especially when you wear size 17s like I do. Great shoe overall, style a bit plain.

I just got the black/white combo on sale. Shipping was lightning fast. They fit perfectly out of the box and do not seem to need much of a break-in period. They just fit. I usually buy black on black, but the black/white combination is actually nice for a change. It is not too gaudy or anything. These are nice summer shoes. While they feel just fine for walking, they are not quite as cushioned as my pair of Nike Air Max. I think I got a little spoiled with Nike Air, though, so take that with a grain of salt. Once again, the top eyelets for the laces are not plastic. They are just punched holes. My Nike Air were like that and after a year the lace hole tends to stretch. These New Balance M574s have two pair of punched eyelets, though, so if one pair stretches you can re-lace and use the other unused holes. They seem a few ounces lighter than my pair of Nike Air Max that I have been wearing for the last year or so. Overall, I like these shoes and will be wearing them daily if nothing changes with them.

Basically, an awesome shoe. It's been a long time since I've had a casual sneaker, so I wouldn't know how to compare it to other members of its genre, but if you walk around a lot like I do, you'll probably like this shoe. My feet are kind of flat and wide. They're not "show feet." But this shoe makes them feel like a million bucks.

Great pair of shoes. Extremely comfortable and stylish. Normally I can't go an entire day with my shoes on, but these are an exception. I can wear these shoes all day long without a problem. Zappos was great as usual! Thanks Zappos!

Great shoe for a teen that doesn't want to wear dress shoes. Looks great with jeans and a nice button down. Comfortable too.

Made in USA! No other brand is better than New Balance and I love the classics M574's. Great for back to school, I pick-up a few pairs for the season.

Classic NB, lower heel makes for easier walking, high quality, comfortable out of the box, and delivered yesterday! Zappos is best!

These fit great, and are good for any outdoor activity. I play tennis, soccer, basketball, and run in them. Great support, great fit. I have high a high arch and it conforms amazingly to it. Overall, a great shoe.

My boyfriend only wears the 574 New Balance. Unfortunately after almost a year of practically daily wear, the upper leather started to split from the sole at the front. Luckily, Zappos always has a good deal on these classics!

Absolutely love this shoe! Classic look and comfortable for every occasion. I normally wear a 9.5 in shoes but in this one I always get a 10 and it is perfect. For the price and this shoe is great!

I really love these new shoes. I've been a New Balance wearer for years now, ever since a back injury which greatly effects my walking and standing. My orthopedic doctor recommended New Balance shoes, and I have been using them ever since. NOTE: These don't have New Balance's ABZORB cushioning in them, but I still find them to be very comfortable and love the styling.

Good looking, really comfortable, good price and come in wide. Nothing else to ask for!

Zappos.com is an awesome company. I ordered Two pairs of swim shorts and my favorite shoes, they came the next day and I didn't even place my order until like three in the afternoon and they were at my house by noon the next day. They also have an awesome return policy if you need it, though I don't think you will need it.

Size 14 runs a little small, though the width is generous. Very comfortable and roomy in the toes. Love them. Life is more fun when your feet feel good.
