No shoe, whether classic or modern, has ever been able to fully replicate the qualities of the Copa Mundial. There is no substitute for the quality of leather these boots have, and no boot characteristic--not weight, not stud configuration, not shot pad design--translates into a more improved field performance. The conical stud configuration is short enough to be worn on fields or turf, and the black/white design is sleek and classy. Much has been made of what to do with the large tongue, but I go with what I see most players doing and just fold it over the laces and loop them over the tongue to hold it. Two caveats to this shoe are 1) weight and 2) sizing. The weight problem is effectively negated by the quality of the shoe. The slight increase in weight in comparison to more modern boots is a small price to pay for the improved touch they offer. As for sizing, I recommend to try these on in person before purchasing, as I had to go two full sizes down. The leather will stretch to your foot after wearing, so keep this in mind before buying. I will never buy another style of shoe after playing in these. Newer designs are all about speed through their light weight, but what they make up in lightness they lose in touch. In addition, Copas are one of the few remaining designs that allow the player to play his/her game the way they see fit rather than pigeon-holing them to a particular role because of the materials present in the boot. As the cheapest top-level boot out there, these are definitely worth your money. Their durability ensures they will last for years if you take care of the leather as well, which only adds to their value. Overall the smartest soccer purchase out there.

great boot , with a glove like fit runs bout a half size small the "k" leather gives superb feel and touch and isn't a bad boot for when conditions change from dry to wet . There is a reason why this boot hasn't changed in 20 years !!!

Approximately 2 years ago, I discovered these boots. And I will never own another type of boot. They allow your foot to "feel" the ball extremely well. Also they become very comfortable forming to your feet. I have a very unusually shaped foot, and these boots accommodate the strange shape. Thank you Adidas for making these boots!

The copa is one of the best and most underated cleats in soccer. i have had them for almost a year now and they still feel brand new. After a couple of times wearing them they start to shape to your feet. Another plus, they are pretty thick in case someone steps on your foot, apposed to thinner cleats like the F-50 synthetic ( which i have a pair of) A downside of the cleats is that they get kinda heavy when wet. overall, for $110, they are great

I have been tempted by these cleats for a while but the price was a bit off putting. However, when my last cleats were on their last legs I took the plunge. These are a beautiful cleat. First game I wore them, they fit perfectly and felt like I had had them for ages. The leather was wonderfully soft and there was no break in period. I was particularly taken by the old school stud pattern and I have also had no grip problems. Copas are recommended for hard ground, however, in the last summer and autumn conditions ranged from rock hard ground through swamp-like conditions and I had no problems with my footing. Two idiosyncrasies. The long tongue, which I have learned to love and the long laces which are great for wrapping around the cleat for an extra snug fit.

I have recently bought the Copa Mundial football boots and I had chances to play matches with them. They are simply amazing and very comfortable! It seems that they can fit everybody and their unique vintage look is outstanding! If I need to buy a new pair of football boots I will certainly go for them again, without any hesitation! Thank you Adidas for selling those amazing and unique boots!

THE all time classic cleat. These were the first Copas I've purchased in probably 10 years, and, with the exception of a sizing issue, are still the best. Kangaroo leather provides the softest, most conforming fit. No bells, whistles or space age plastics, just a classic black cleat with classic style and exceptional performance. I used to wear a 9.5, but apparently Adidas has changed their sizing and I had to return those and get a 9. Return went smooth.

I have wide and small feet so copas fit perfectly. The shoe stretches and it's so comfortable. I've been using them for over 15 years. They aren't flashy but comfort beats that. Also, pretty light.

Excellent firm ground shoe with great feel. Works great on grass or on turf. Broke in easy after one day of playing (90 minutes). Very comfortable shoe... with other cleats I have had to add inserts for comfort, not with the Copa's. Buy one size down. I wear a size 10 for most Adidas shoes, but for the Copa Mundial I got a size 9 and still have a finger width of room in the toe. Also, this cleat is wider than most other Adidas cleats (which I think are usually too narrow), so I would call these normal width compared to other brand cleats.

I have only ever owned one other type of cleat other than copas and it was my 1st yr of soccer. Will never use anything else. This is my 4th pair, played since 3rd grade, high school, club, college, and coach. Would definitley recommend!

I have worn Copas ever since they were introduced. I like the fact that you can "wear them in" - in just a few hours. DO only buy a 1/2 size smaller - NOT a full size. If you want them to stretch faster, first stand in a bucket of hot water for 15 mins, then slowly dry them out - stuff with newspaper to dry. They work on all but the muddiest of fields, and are actually quite acceptable on artificial turf fields as well. If you take care of them, they will last about one year (with 3 to 4 times per week of use). The will after time begin to separate from the plastic sole - particularly on the outside of the boot. The toe lasts longer because of the three rivets.

Although it's a mens cleat my daughter loves the fit. She said they have to be broken into but so probably not good to wear them at game time. This is her second pair and would recommend the copa mundial good purchase for the money

I've had my Copa Mundial cleats for 9 or 10 years. I still wear them and they are super comfortable. They never give me blisters, and like the other reviewer said, they really fit your foot like a glove. I'm only looking at new cleats because they are starting to get worn out a little. Great buy!

I've had these boots for 12 years now, and they're still taking a beating and holding up! Once you get a pair and break them in, they truly learn your foot and wrap it like a glove. The Kangaroo leather is soft yet durable. I'm considering new cleats now since they are starting to wear a little bit, but I'm hesitating since these fit my feet so well.

This is a very good cleat.I like this cleat for its comfort and full leather upper. For me the sole plate is a little too narrow, but i understand why since the leather does stretch a lot so they need a narrow base to accommodate for the stretch. Ive had this cleat for id say about 2 weeks now. At first the cleat fit good and tight. But after wearing them to kick around and wearing them around the house, they started breaking in. At first my feet sometimes started hurting when I wore them too long. But thats expected because of the narrow starting shape and I have a wide foot. They also fit very good length wise, only if you go down a full size because these cleats fit extremely long. Youre also going to want them to fit very snug because the leather stretches a lot. After breaking them in, the leather got even softer and the cleats adapted to the shape of my foot. Overall, they are a very good cleat and good for wide footed players. The only negative thing I have to say is after only 2 weeks, I have a little bit of sole separation. I am a right footed player so it is not a surprise that it is on my right foot. I am very surprised by this because ive heard people say they only start having sole separation after about a year. Now, this sole separation is not major and it is at the front of the toe box and the medial side of the cleat. Now, I dont expect for these cleats to fully separate until maybe a year in because of the metal that that have at the front that keeps the upper and the sole plate together really well. Overall these are very good cleats, and I recommend you try them at least once in your life.
