My son has struggled with a proper fit for his wide feet with other brands, but the Adidas Copa Mundial fit perfectly. He told me after the first day this was the only soccer cleat he would ever buy!

I use these mostly playing 5 a side on a 3G pitch and the are really comfortable. Although not what they were originally designed to do, they do the job perfectly. The leather seemed to mould to my feet the more I wear them and it only took a couple of wears to bed them in. They have held up really well over the last year on the this surface, and can see several more years use out of them.

I used to wear the predator F50 and my size was 11, but for the Copa, I had to go down a full size to make sure those cleats really fit me...
I really enjoy those cleats because of their great comfort, they are probably the most comfortable cleats i have ever own, great touch, great cleats!!!
The only thing is that the laces are way too long, I had to tight it over ,button and up of my cleat to make sure they don't come out...
Other than that, those are great cleat, and there is really a reason why they are still popular and have been made the same since then

I love Zappos and I love these cleats. This is my second pair of Mundials I've bought. My first pair completely fell apart after 2 years of hard use playing ultimate frisbee three times a weak. They definitely seem to have a self destruct built in because once they're done for there's really no repairing them cause the cleats wear down as well. Having said that, you're getting cleats that feel great straight out of the box, no "break in" required. The factory insole is garbage so be sure to replace it with your preferred insole and transform the babies into a cushy paradise. I like the padded leather because it defends my feet when I get cleated. It still smarts like heck but repels most the damage. The toes are not narrow like all Nike cleats are. I have regular sized feet and all Nike cleats squeeze my toes. I can fit an ankle brace inside easily and the shoelaces are nice and long. They are true to size. Now a word about Zappos. The second pair of cleats I bought were too small. I guess I had a dumb moment and ordered a half size too small. Zappos allowed me to exchange the cleats even after using them for a month because I found a defect. The sole of the shoe had a plastic piece projecting out of it towards the front and center. These are not cheap cleats but they're worth the price. Most other companies would have kept my money and left me in satisfied, but Zappos is King of Customer service!

These shoes are great! This is the second year that I have purchased them. My grandson loves them, they are very comfortable, and worth the price. The way I look at it, is that his feet are more expensive than the shoes.

I've worn these cleats for as long as I can remember. A pair would last me a year of almost daily soccer wear when younger, and now a pair lasts me 4-5 years playing a few days a week as an adult. I love them and will continue to purchase them.
I am also just plain irritated that a dedicated women's version of the Copa Mundial either hasn't been made or isn't available. It's a hassle, because the size I wear in the men's (5) is not always stocked, even by specialty soccer stores. (And my foot is an average women's size, not unusually tiny.) Which means that I have to special order a pair every few years, at that rare point when mine are wearing out. If I need a new pair on quick notice (has happened once or twice), not much luck. (Emergency duct tape!) It bums me out, and sometimes does want me to take my business and elsewhere. But they're my cleats, even if they don't want to be. : (

I have bought many soccer cleats in my days. I found the Copa's in the late 1980's. Once I put the shoe on, there was no other choice to make. I still play soccer 3x's a week, but I won't play unless I have my Copa's. They mold to your feet like a ballet slipper. Thank you for providing me this comfort and superior satisfaction.

Just bought a pair two days ago, I tried 3 different sizes before knowing what size I should take for these boots. I usually wear 11 in normal day shoes and my soccer cleats, but want a full size down to have a snug fit (size 10). Out of the box they are very comfortable (not like synthetic cleats) and are just really amazing. I also have a narrow foot width but they fit really well and you can also tie the shoe laces around the boot for a more snug fit!

Sometimes you need to go back to class. These Boots are exactly that, total class. They fit great, they mould great and they look great. The only boot I will ever wear for Football.

Great soccer cleat. Leather is soft, and it's hard to find cleats in black. Sizing is the key with these. They run big, and they will stretch after a couple games. I wore an 11.5 in the newer Predators, but I had to drop down to a 10.5 in the Copa. My toes were right on the end, but did not hurt, and the leather has stretched to a perfect and comfortable fit. Definitely go down a half size, but consider a full size if you want to eliminate any looseness.

The most comfortable soccer boot ever! They also run big so I would recommend getting a whole (yes a whole) shoe size smaller. They are K leather so they form fit to your foot and stretch to mold your feet. I have another pair of soccer boots (also from Adidas) and these blow them out of the water. They used to be cheaper but are still worth the money. Don't bother with synthetic boots, they have no give. So when you suddenly stop and turn to kick the ball instead of the shoe just bouncing back to its original fit (like a comfortable K-leather would) your foot just rubs against the shoe causing blisters. These have been the best selling soccer boots for decades (yup decades!). Your feet won't regret this choice!

Been wearing these boots since they were called Laplatas and cost $19 in the 70s. Copas are the best boot for the money ever made. Not crazy about the current price point but still love 'em.
Note to younger players:
1. Do not let your mom choose a size you can grow into! Get them tight, even a half size smaller. The leather will stretch.
2. Treat them with respect. Don't wear them off the pitch into the parking lot, let alone the grocery store. That's what slides are for.
3. Clean them and polish with adidas baranne and they will last longer. It keeps the leather supple and improves touch.
4. Bonus note: if you have big feet like me - I wore size 10 when I was 10 - you're gonna scrape the ground a lot. Coating the toe around the front with a thin layer of Shoe Goo will keep it from wearing too quickly. Same for the lower instep if you drag that.
Buy em. Love em, and they'll love ya back.

I was skeptical as I read reviews stating to order anywhere from ½ - 1½ sizes smaller than normal; however, since most recommended ordering 1 size smaller, I did. Much to my surprise, they fit perfectly. My son usually wears an 11½ in Adidas (and Puma) and the 10½ was the correct size for him in these cleats. I cannot comment on longevity or wear as we just got them but I hope their reputation holds up - which I fully expect them to.

Purchased for teenage son for ultimate frisbee. After a month of wearing, no complaints. He chose these over Diadoras based on comfort. Put in green Superfeet as recommended by physical therapist and he was good to go.

I have had the same copas for the last 4 seasons. After years of Sunday morning football, it's time for some new ones. As for my old set, there still going strong and will be used for training. Love these boots.

Simply put, these are the best boots ever made. The fact that they are still being made and worn by footballers who actually know what constitutes a brilliant boot is testament to the legacy and name of this boot.
I've been wearing Copas for as long as I can remember (15+ years) and will until the day I retire from semi pro football (which isn't far away) but will always keep a pair in my kit bag ready for kick abouts with mates down the park.
I've read a few reviews about laces and the tongue but these are not issues once you find what works for you, personally I love the fact the laces go under the boot and tie up over the tongue as it keeps everything tight and compact without impacting my first touch and actually means that I can tie the boot up tight and not worry about my boot falling off even in the toughest tackle.
IF YOU DONT OWN A PAIR OF COPAS I INSIST YOU BUY A PAIR, I GUARANTEE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
