Cute and Comfortable - I love these shoes! I have them in black and brown. They do feel a little strange at first but I can work all day on my feet and not feel sore. NB: They seem to run a little big and each shoe can sometimes fit differently.

Wonderful Shoe - I ordered mine yesterday and I got them today. Great service from Zappos. I took them out of the box and put them onto my feet. Very comfortable and cute. I know I've only had them on for an hour but I can tell they will be fine. I am diabetic and have very sensitive feet and for some reason, I can tell when a shoe needs some breaking in time or if it will give me blisters or if I can just put them on and go to town. These shoes are the get 'em out of the box and go to town shoes. Very, very comfortable. I am a true 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 and to me a very true fit - the type of shoe that I can wear with or without socks. All I can say is that I am very happy with the shoe and the service that I received from Zappos.

Worth every penny! Excellent quality, comfort, arch support and style! You can't go wrong with this shoe or any Earth shoe for that matter. I am an art teacher on my feet an average of 45+ hours a week. The negative heel technology and arch support are great. I wear a size 10 and found that size, width and arch support were true to size. Dress them up or dress them down with a pair of capri jeans, they look sharp regardless. I have received a ton of compliments on my shoes and feel as if I've turned into a spokeswoman for Earth shoes and the Zappos.com website. Zappos.com is a great site and with the free shipping and returns, very customer friendly. They truly want to work with you and help you find what you’re looking for in a pair of shoes. This is my third pair of Earth’s and I can assure you, its not going to be my last! PS: You only have one set of feet in this lifetime, why not treat them to the best!

Just as good as back in the 70s! Wore Earth shoes in the 70s and while these are cuter, the comfort is the same. You won't be disappointed by the comfort of Earth shoes.

Really great shoe - I recently changed jobs to one where I'm on my feet all day, so needed to find several pairs that looked cute and are comfortable and Earth Solar is just that! The toe is wide enough; the negative heel makes you stand up straighter and it's a cute style. I ended up getting the Gouron and the Rosso.

Great shoes - I am an RN and I bought these shoes for my 12 hour shifts that I work at the hospital. These shoes are very comfortable and cute. I am probably going to buy a pair to wear at home. My feet don't hurt when I am done with work. I love these shoes.

Worth every penny - These are my 5th pair of Earth shoes. They are darling, very cute styling. The comfort cannot be beat, they make being on my feet 8 hours a day a treat. The leather is soft and buttery and feels perfect right out of the box. Once you wear Earth shoes, you won't want to wear anything else.

As good as I remember them... I wore Earth Shoes when Earth Shoes were cool. When I began a job where I sat all day and my lower back started to suffer, I remembered my old Earth Shoes. I found them in wide sizes on Zappos (didn't matter as much on the originals). They are comfortable, I can wear them all day and no more lower back strains. I have traded in my Rockports! I only wish they would bring out more in wide sizes - I was born with extra wide feet and it sure would be nice to find additional styles. I'd be a customer!

Awesomely comfortable shoe! I am a tall woman with a large shoe size and have the worst time finding a comfortable work/casual shoe that I can wear all day that won't hurt my feet. I have finally found it! Usually I have to settle for some matronly looking, halfway-comfort level shoe. I love this shoe! It looks great with casual dress or jeans. I currently wear them for work at a day spa. I hope they make others because for looks and fit, it works for me!

Quite possibly the most comfortable I have worn - I am a nurse working over 14 hour shifts and this is quite possibly the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I am on my feet constantly and used to love the Dansko with closed heel but since my knee replacement the effort to keep them on my feet has caused strain on my knees. The Earth shoe is very comfortable with lots of arch support and cushion. They also grip so I have not had an issue with slippage. I love them and find myself wearing them every shift.

Better than barefoot for this busy mom. I've got long skinny feet, quasi-plantar fasciitis problems, I'm tall, and I've got a 3 year old and a 4 month old here with me at home. Some days my feet & knees just ACHE from all the running around I do, usually in crappy shoes. I've had this shoe for 2 weeks now, and sometimes I think I should just skip wearing fuzzy slippers in the morning & put my Solars on before my feet hit the floor! I got the Mahogany Calf & was unprepared for how *pretty* and *shiny* they would be! I feel like a girlie-girl again, after wearing nothin' but sneakers. They've scuffed & dulled some, but should polish up w/ no problem...when I get around to taking them off. One thing that was unexpected was the "boxiness" of the toe. I thought it was going to be a problem at first, but it's not. I don't slide around at all. Earth Oasis sandals kept me from falling apart while pregnant this past summer; I really wish I had learned about these shoes decades ago before I wrecked my knees & arches with cheap shoes.

Most Comfortable Shoe from the Start - Cute as can be. I teach school (music, and therefore, very active) and the floor is concrete covered with thin carpet. From the start, these shoes are extremely comfortable. The back of the heel is padded, the strap is adjustable, and the toe bed is wide, but is not as "Frankenstein-like" as other orthopedic shoes. This shoe looks good with casual skirts and pants. The shoe is low enough on the foot to give as much length to my short legs as needed. The little slit on the top of the shoe is really cute. Love the shoes! I have Dansko, Clarks, Naots and MBT shoes. The MBT are comparable in comfort but are more than twice as expensive. Dansko does not have enough cushioning for me, neither does Clarks. Some of the Naots hurt the side of my foot. I own four pair of Earths and will not wear any other.

Earth Solar in Black Calf - Very cute shoe and though I needed to order it in 1/2 size smaller than my usual 8 1/2. I'm amazed at how comfortable and nice looking this shoe is. Simple classic style with the benefit of negative heel to keep my posture in check. Love Earth shoes when I can find the right size. Have three different Earth shoe boxes in my closet right now and they each are a different size 8, 8.5, and 9. Obviously Earth Shoes vary in size depending on the style but they're well worth going through the return process to find a fit.

So cute - I love these! They are right-out-of-the-box comfortable and the mahogany is a pretty chestnut brown. I recently had foot surgery for plantar fasciitis and didn't know what shoe to try - glad I picked these. Very good cushioning and arch support, very true to size. I have slightly narrow feet and they fit just right - not a good one for people with wider feet to pick, I think. Have noticed a change (for the better) in my gait and in my posture. Plan to wear these to work (I'm a nurse) and if my opinion changes I'll let you know.

Exceptionally comfortable shoe - I was concerned about the stiffness of the shoe when I first tried them on, but that disappears shortly after walking a bit. My arthritic hips were aching when I put these shoes on for their first trial of mall shopping. It is Christmas, so I thought I'd brave it. After I wore them awhile, I found I had less pain and more stamina. I didn't want to take them off. My shopping time more than doubled. The makers were a little sloppy with the stain though, as there was a highly visible stain splash on the top surface of the shoe when I bought it. But, for overall body comfort, it far exceeds anything I have ever worn, including traditional sneakers. I am looking for more shoes of this nature to buy.

Best Earth shoe footbed - I love this shoe and have had it now for 9 months. I have 3 pairs of Earth shoes, one pair, "Intrigue", has a horrible footbed and "Ziggy" has a pretty good footbed, but by far the Solars are most comfortable. Since I have somewhat flat feet, I can even put my orthodics in the shoe.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn - True I am in the age bracket in which comfort is more important than looks. I am a constant traveler and my Earth shoes have carried me all over Europe, Great Britain and Australia. Next best thing to being barefoot. I will continue to buy them as long as I am still walking. I have wide feet and find the fit perfect.

Comfy shoe - I ordered these in a 7W, and I normally take a 7 1/2 WW, so they have a really roomy toe box, but I felt like I was walking with my heel lower than my toes. I remedied this by putting "gel heel supports" in them and now they are perfect!

Comfortable, cute, and good to my back - I love this shoe. At first the seam down the middle of the front part looked a little odd, but it's grown on me. Easy velcro strap, quality leather, nice insole. As mentioned before, back of heel is a bit high, not a problem. The only draw back is that the heel is so low that some of my pants touch the floor. I'm used to wearing Dansko clogs, which have quite a heel. These had much more cushion than the Dansko Professional series. Great shoe.

Love them - This is my first pair of Earth shoes, but it won't be my last. They are ridiculously comfortable. They're holding up well and they're cute. My only complaint is that the leather shows wear really quickly.

Earth Shoes - I wore Earth Shoes in college more than 35 years ago. Since then my feet have grown larger, both in width and length. I thought that I could no longer wear Earth Shoes, but I tried these. They felt like old friends from the first day. Plus my back felt much, much better and they looked "trendier" than the shoes I've been wearing. Please make other styles in wide widths!!!

Great shoes, super comfortable, and you definitely feel like you’re getting a novel workout. My feet are gigantic and I typically only wear men's sneakers because I can't find women's that fit me, but these actually felt a little BIG. Comfortable and cute.

Very comfortable - I walk a lot, and have problems with my feet and finding a comfortable shoe. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes from people in the hospital where I work. They are great....more styles in a wide width please.

This is my first pair of earth shoes and they felt great as soon as I put them on. They look terrific and I just ordered my second pair.

Heaven on earth - Wide feet, fret no more! Find comfort all day in Earth Solar Wide. They run true to size. But, add an extra half size if the pair you order is too short or long. Earth's Solar helps with sway back as it adjusts your stance by tucking in your pelvis and tummy because the shoe tilts back releasing pressure from the ball of the foot. Any callous pressure you may have is at once relieved and any corns you may have on your toes can disappear because you're foot pressure is on the back of the foot, where it should be, as if you're standing on the shoreline at the beach.
