I am a fan of Birkenstocks and was looking for another pair that had a bit of flair. These are the perfect combination of comfort and style. I even got a compliment from a friends who does not like Birkenstocks! I usually wear a size 7.5 in a shoe and a 37 in Birkenstocks and the 37 in these were perfect. I plan on taking some long walks in these this summer in these super comfortable sandals!

I LOVE these sandals! These are much more comfortable than the old Birkenstocks of long ago (1970's). The foot bed is luxuriously soft & supportive. I thought it would bug me to have my big toe in the loop, but leather is so soft that it is no problem. The Pearl Black/White is a really nice pattern. I'd love to have more of these in different colors!

I love the Tabora - quality, comfort, support and style are top notch! There are two other Birkenstock styles that are similar, but I greatly prefer the Tabora. I'd have stock piled the taupe suede had I known they were going to discontinue this style. I can see that the shiny, patent, metallic, patterned, flowery sandals are 'fun', but I prefer leather or suede in basic colors.

Great, great sandal! I had lost another pair on the beach and was heart-broken....so happy to find these! The pattern on the leather is lovely and not so much violet so that they are still a neutral color. My favorite pair of Birkenstocks! (or I guess Papillon's, I'm not sure what the difference is!)

I wore these all summer and received many compliments! I usually don't wear this type of sandal but the toe strap did not look restricting so decided to give it go. Glad I did!

My favorite style of Papillio! I have 2 others in this style and had to get this color also. The strap material is super soft against the skin! They are a really unique pattern, the spots on the blue are shiny, but not sparkly. Comfortable like all my other Birkenstocks, Birkis, Papillios. This style is very flattering on a wider foot. The top strap holds it in place as you walk and can be adjusted to accomodate a higher arch. The lower strap cuts across the foot at a flattering angle. Shows off the toes and makes the widest part of the foot appear thinner.

The next best thing to being barefoot! I've been a Birkenstock fan for years and am delighted that available choices in styles/colors has increased to such an amazing level. I wear my new Taboras every day that there isn't a threat of rain. I need to order more in other colors. The toe wrap on this style is very flattering...I got compliments the first day I wore them!

Pretty in pink - This was a replacement pair and decided on the pink color this time, love it! I can't imagine buying shoes anywhere else but Zappos. They arrived the next day, what a service!

cute comfy shoes - I've worn them every chance I've had since I got them. Their comfy and cute and the perfect summer shoe.

Very comfortable - These birks are great! Although I had to order narrow, they fit great. I love the look kind of an updated thong. The leather is very soft and they feel "broken in " right away. These shoes are winners

great! These sandals look great and are very comfortable. Also, they don't flop around on your feet the way some slide-on Birksenstocks do.

Comfortable everyday sandal - I developed Plantar's Faciitis in my left heel and the doctor recommended Birkenstocks as a good shoe to wear while recuperating. I have to wear heel supports in my regular shoes but it is not needed when I wear these sandals. They are very comfortable, the straps were soft enough that they didn't rub or need to be broken in and my feet don't sweat in them as with rubbery type thong sandals. I like the looks of the straps better than the chunky, two-strap, traditional Birkenstocks that slip on. I will wear these long after the injury to my foot has healed.

Fantastic Shoes! So comfortable...didn't really take long to break in at all. Run very true to size. Just great shoes that I can wear with lots of different things!

Great Shoes - I literally wore my first pair of these shoes out. The pair I bought from Zappos was actually a replacement pair. The buying experience from Zappos was great. The exact size and color I wanted arrived at my door just a couple of days later. No enduring traficc or sales people.

Comfort and style ... I was looking for a slightly more stylish sandal that is as comfortable as my wonderful suede Arizona's, and it's not easy to find. The suede Tabora is close. The between-the-toes thong takes getting used to... I think it will be okay. The suede is soft, which I love. Love the pink! I usually wear an 8.5 shoe, but needed a size 38N Tabora.

These sandals are amazing! Very comfortable from the first time I put them on, but get even more comfortable as you wear them. I ordered the anthracite metallic SOFT footbed. The soft cushioning was critical for me. My only disappointment is that the metallic scratches easily, for a cost, I would have returned them on principal (expected better finish) but, they are so darn comfortable, my feet would not let me return them!
