I decided on the UGG Men Ascot Slipper in the color Chestnut. These slippers are lined with luxuriously soft wool and the outer design is classic suede. I purchased them at the price of $109.95 which is a steal for the high quality shoe that you’re investing in. Positives The UGG Men Ascot Slipper can withstand the harshest conditions. If you’re someone like me and don’t necessarily take great care of your shoes then these slippers are just right for you. There isn’t much upkeep necessary unless you’re looking to keep them squeaky clean. You will find that slipping your feet into these is almost as if you’re walking on pillows. The cost may seem pricey at first but you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck when you take into account the quality of the product that you’re purchasing. I’ve been known to wear these outside in a blizzard and my initial thought was that they’d be ruined by the snow but once they dried they looked good as new. Not only do they feel great but they look good with most outfits as well because of their versatility and non-traditional slipper look. Negatives The only negative that I could find with these slippers is that the wool inside can get start to smell or get matted down if you don’t wear socks with them and end up sweating. This is a minor issue as it can easily be solved with wearing socks or if you don’t want to wear socks with them then just using them as house slippers where there won’t be any threat of sweating in them. Ideal User The ideal user to wear these slippers is someone like myself facing a cold climate and looking for versatile footwear. The beauty of the UGGs is that they feature water-resistant suede which is essential for walking outside in the inclement weather you might have to face during the winter season. Another aspect to take note of is the rubber sole which adds traction when walking in slippery conditions and makes these slippers accessible for wear indoors or outside. If you reside in an area that faces colder temperatures then these slippers would be ideal for you. I would also suggest them if you are someone just looking for a comfortable house shoe that will withstand the wear and tear of your daily life. Also if you have foot pain or issues these will be very comfortable for you to slip in and out of around your home. After owning these slippers I can definitely say that I would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a good slipper.
