I tried to order these shoes featured in TravelSmith magazine for a trip to Europe as they touted them as the most comfortable perforated walking shoe. By the time I decided to order they were out of every color and size. I went on-line to find them elsewhere and read all the reviews I could find. Most rated these shoes very high in comfort, however one lonely review hated the squeak they made on some surfaces (such as bare wood floors, my experience in my kitchen) and suggested not wearing them to museums and etc. They were very disappointed. This worried me since we were visiting museums, palaces and etc. so I chose not to wear them on indoor sightseeing excursions which limited where I could wear the shoes. I bought two pair of $100 range comfort shoes and both pairs (of different brands) were by far the only comfortable shoes for miles and miles of walking in London and Paris and Normandy. My cheap shoes stayed in my suitcase. Everywhere we went I saw women with tissue stuffed in their shoes because of blisters, etc. I was blister free if I didn't wear my cheapie shoes.
