What's there to say about this shoe, really? The word "classic" is in its name. It's a classic shoe. I have been wearing these for years - as casual shoes, when playing soccer on turf, even at my sister's wedding, mixing it up on the dance floor. What other shoe lets you do all that? This is by far the best shoe ever created. It's as though the designer was inspired by a higher being. True story about the last time I purchased these: I forget sneakers when I took my kids to Disney World. Without hesitation, I immediately pulled up Zappos and ordered another pair. They were delivered the next day to my hotel. Win-win. New Sambas, more comfort. I literally can't say enough about these.

I ordered the black Samba with white stripes. This shoe offers both classic style and comfort in a very reasonable package. The shoe pairs very well with a variety of casual clothing as well. The elongated tongue also adds a nice touch to the overall look.

I love this pair of shoes...second time I've ordered them from Zappos. I use them for coaching sports, playing sports, and casual wear. I wore the first pair so much that I completely wore them out in 5 years!

I am a girl. I got my first pair of Sambas almost six years ago for work and I am still wearing them almost every day. I started wearing these shoes instead of Converse because they have better arch support and keep my toes warm. So many girl's sneakers are made of cheap canvas or cotton and my toes just FREEZE in the winter. An added bonus is that I am not a cripple with 900 blisters and a cramp in my ankle after wearing them to a concert and they are not neon pink or anything else horrible. I only wish there were such a thing as a comfortable and healthy shoe that I could wear with a dress.

Look great, feel great. These last me at least 2 years, and I wear them almost every day. Just ordered my 4th pair. Much more comfortable than chucks.

These are hands down my favorite shoes of all time, you just can't go wrong with owning a pair of these bad boys. I've gone through three pairs in my lifetime, my previous pair lasting an astonishing 8 years before I finally wore holes in the soles. I wear them everywhere- running, biking, rock climbing, along rivers and beaches, doing yard work, relaxing around the house, to weddings- and yes for playing indoor soccer. To me these really are all occasion shoes, and once you have them broken in, they practically mold to your feet. I can simply slip them on and head out the door with out ever needing to relace them, they are practically an appendage. I recommend everyone own a pair of these shoes at least once in their lives.

My husband has been wearing nothing but Sambas for over 20 years. He loves them.

The Samba Classics are awesome. Definitely get a half a size bigger. They run a half a size small, I think it's because they are narrow, and my foot is medium width. Anyway Zappos is the best to order from if they have what you're looking for. I have never had better online customer service in every area of the process like I have had with Zappos. Zappos forever.

Great shoe for everyday wear with adequate support. Works equally well with jeans and with khakis. Incredible service as usual from Zappos.

I couldn't find the size I needed in this shoe anywhere. Zappos had the size and had next day shipping available for free! I couldn't believe it. My brother in law was happy with the shoe and I was thrilled to death with the service and the size availability. Thank you Zappos!

I think the style is timeless and classic. Very versatile, especially with the black with white stripe color way. Looks good with jeans looks goods with shorts, so you can't go wrong. I don't know if this is common knowledge but the Sambas are extremely slip resistant. I work at a bar and restaurant and many of the other bartenders and servers wear them because of the comfort and non slip factor as well as durability. These are one of the most durable shoes ever. What more could you ask for in a shoe? I have two pairs now...one for work and one for play.

They call this a classic for a reason! Comfortable, and looks good playing sports or with a blazer! Wish Zappos carried the style with more colored stripes than just white.

I have wanted these shoes forever and they are great! The don't squeak (a common complaint made about other styles of Samba) and they go with everything.

These pair of Adidas have always been a great pair of sneakers and I'm glad they have made a come back. Very comfortable for all ages and look good too.

Great sneaker. This is the second pair I bought for my daughter. Very comfortable. They wear them all the time.

I ordered the same size Sambas in white that I own in black, but upon receipt the (white) Sambas were a bit snug in the width. I had planned on returning them but after walking about a mile they broke in and now fit like a glove. Stick with the standard size and just give them time to break-in and these will be your new standards!

I love the classic white Adidas Sambas (the ones with the original long tongue). The black version of these shoes seem to be a lot more common. You can buy the black ones from J Crew even. I think that the white ones are better and more versatile in your wardrobe. Everyone needs a pair of nice classic white sneakers. I can wear these with khakis and a sweatshirt or with jeans and a tee. They even look great with no socks when wearing shorts. The long tongue is my favorite thing about these shoes. I am glad that more people haven't discovered how great these work with the slimmer fit pants. When I wear these with my APC jeans the tongues stick out the front of the leg openings and looks super cool. I get a lot of comments. I am very careful to keep these clean (although they are easy to wipe down). I would recommend spraying a water proofer on them, the front swede in particular. I had my last pair for a year and a half before buying another pair to replace them. The old pair didn't look that bad yet though. They definitely run a half size small, so order a half size up. Nike shoes are the same way, so if you know what size you wear in Nike then order that size. Enjoy these shoes, and welcome to the cool club.

I love these classic Adidas Samba shoes. They fit and look great and I couldn't be more happy with them and with the Zappos service! I ordered the shoes on a Monday afternoon and had them on Wednesday morning! Thanks Zappos!

These are fine quality sneakers. I always have to have a pair on hand. I blew the soles out of my old ones after about 3 years of vigorous wear. Zappos' generous shipping upgrades and lightning fast response keep me coming back!
