I have had them in white forever. Was hoping to find the black Sambas with the black stripe but they don't seem to be available. No big deal. These are just as good and I'm really happy with them.

It’s the classic Samba. I still associate the black ones with 90s rich kids but the white ones are dripping with flavor and panache. I’m typically averse to white sneakers but these are tastefully balanced with the stripes and brown soles. The suede toe cap is light gray. The long tongue other reviewers complain about is part of the deal. These are loyal to an original indoor soccer shoe design. The tongues offer a measure of protection between the shoe and where a shin guard stops. They become floppy over time or you can force a crease in them so they lie out of the way. Or you can cut them with scissors. I like the tongues. I love the shoes.

Feels great with my high arches. Classic style never gets old.

Easily one of my favorite shoes to buy. Worth it for the money. Good quality, comfortable, looks good. The only downside is that it can't handle slippery surfaces at all. Really bad on wet surfaces. Other than that, awesome.

Great shoe, stylish and comfortable!

I buy a pair of these every 2 to 3 years and they're always a great buy. These shoes are made of genuine leather and hold up very well. They're extremely durable. I wear them daily.

Third pair I've purchased in the past 5 years or so. Wear them about 4-5 times a week.

The Samba is a classic piece of footwear. I grew up wearing the black colorway but decided to mix it up as an adult. The white shoe is broken up nicely by the off white suede. This creates a slick shoe that looks sporty and cool at the same time. I pair mine with khakis, gym shorts and jeans with equal success. The fit is a little snug in the toe box. If you prefer some room, I'd step up a half size. One key aspect of the Samba is its lasting durability. You'll be wearing these bad boys for years to come once you wear them in. I love my Sambas and am now considering picking up the black colorway. *one note* the Originals Samba has a long tongue that you'll likely want to trim down. It's foam so this isn't a daunting task.

I originally purchased a size 9 and it's was too large. I returned them for a size 8.5 and bingo, they fit! I have small wide feet and these did take a little customizing in lacing technique and break-in. Overall, the shoes are bombproof and stylish. I wear them for work and play. These are a great all-around shoe!

Let me start by saying that I modify my samba classics, and afterwords, they are the most comfortable shoes. The "arch support" lump beneath the insole absolutely destroys my feet, BUT you can easily pull the insole out, and then pull the foam "arch support" lump off the bottom of the insole. The insole fits back in the shoe perfectly, and is how the shoe ought to feel right out of the box (in my opinion). I wear shoes with little to no arch support. The next thing I do is cut the tongue right beneath the adidas logo on the outside. You might be thinking "but that would ruin the shoe!" Wrong...it shows no sign of alteration, and after wearing it for a few days, the edges of the tongue round out. I know this is an indoor soccer shoe, however, the tongue rips leg hairs out of my shin (yeah, that's how long the effin tongue is)! I could take flight with the tongues of the Sambas before cutting them. They are literally the size of Dumbo's ears. I also rock the Adidas Busenitz, and they have a dotted line on the tongue to cut it to fit. So take my advice if the arch support lump and tongue bother you. You'll think back to this review and say "that guy knows what's up." Enjoy!

LOVE these shoes! I've had the white ones for years and they're still clean and stylish. I love how they're unisex as well; I just ordered the same pair for my boyfriend!

Love this shoe! I wore them on vacation and walked 5 miles a day and was comfortable! True to size and very comfortable.
