Received shoes a couple days after ordering in new condition. Shoes were an ok fit, as the arch inserts under the insoles caused me a little discomfort. After taking those out and putting a better insole, the shoe feels more comfortable. The classic and simple look is why I ended up getting a pair of these again .

I've been wearing Sambas for decades, as my "go to" sneakers. Unlike a lot of other athletic shoes on the market the Samba Classics are built to last. I'm still wearing a pair I purchased in 1999, and as long as you clean them and put some mink oil on the leather once every six months, the leather will age beautifully. I like to buy them a little bit snug, and have them stretch over time for a perfect fit. But, if you order your usual size, they'll be comfortable right out of the box. The great thing about these shoes is you can wear them with a button-up shirt and dress them up, or wear them with shorts and a t-shirt - they look great either way. Plus, I've gotten compliments on my Sambas for years. It's one of those timeless, subtle designs that isn't flashy, yet always gets noticed. I'll be wearing Sambas as long as Adidas makes them.

I've wanted a pair of these shoes for a long time and I'm thrilled with them, absolutely thrilled.

Sambas have lasted me longer than almost any other shoes that I have purchased. I only have one pair of shoes that I wear everyday and usually I would need new shoes every six to eight months, Sambas last significantly longer, my first pair lasted around 13 months and this pair is at 18 months.

These are great sneakers! I purchased these due to the nostalgic feelings from wearing these as a kid in the 80's and the fact that they still look uber cool and timeless. They are super comfortable right out of the box and very well made. They are an exceptional value as they will last for years.

Mine don't squeak! Well, that was my biggest fear in purchasing these shoes after having read many many reviews. But I'm glad that I went ahead and purchased these because they are so comfortable. I don't play indoor soccer and I wear these purely for comfort and style and I really am glad. I've been wearing a lot of Converse, casual flats, Vans (zapato del barco)...and I think in terms of comfort, these are up there but I also feel like I could run a short distance in them if needed (compared to my Vans, which I wouldn't). I don't have super flat feet but slightly flat but don't have any problems. The tongue also does not bother me, I just pulled it over to the side a bit and it's fine. I normally wear 7.5 when I wear Nikes for like running, basketball, cross-training...and I bought a 7.5 in these. But I think I like my Chucks, I'd prefer to go a half size down to wear them more fit since there's less padding overall. I know many people who have been wearing these for years, pair after pair...and I think I'm going to be one of those people now. Nice street style but also fine for the office on casual Friday...at least until they're too beat up.

Classic indeed! I've been wearing Samba's for 20+ years and I love them. They are my utilitarian sneaker of choice. Once broken in, they are insanely comfortable and durable. I wore my last pair for 3 years before they had to be retired. I would not recommend them for someone with wide feet; however, and they can get a little warm in hot weather. The break-in period is a little longer than other sneakers I've owned as well. Other than that, they are perfect.

Zappos is the best ever. I don't even think to go anywhere else. There are no worries and you turn around and your order is on your doorstep. Love them, Samba classic's are the only thing my husband wears so I know I can get them at Zappos. They are great shoes.

These shoes were great and fit like a charm! Super comfy. The shipping was pretty bad though and they sent them to some weird places before getting them to me. But now that they are here I love them!

This is a second pair that I have purchased for our son! He loves them. Excellent quality.

I bought these shoes to wear while biking and they are perfect! Very light and comfortable, and they slide easily and comfortable into the toe clips. The top of the shoe can be a bit uncomfortable for the first few days, so I recommend wearing higher socks so it does not rub against your skin. It only takes a few days before they are completely broken in and you can return to wearing ankle socks.

I have owned several pairs of these for playing indoor soccer. Good fit last well and look good...at least to me.

I've had these for about a year now and they're still going strong! When I took them out of the box, I was amazed by how light they were. They felt a little tight at first, but after a few minutes of wearing them, they became very comfortable. The tongue rubbed against my leg (and rubbed my leg hair off), but after a week I got used to it and stopped noticing it. I wear these to school, work, and just about anywhere else. It's a very casual-looking shoe that will go with any outfit, but is also suitable for a day of walking or hiking. So, to sum it up, these shoes are fashionable, functional, and comfortable.

I ordered to Samba Originals and they constantly squeaked when I walked. This don't at all yet they still are sweet looking. Oh, and Zappos upgraded me to free two day shipping (along with a free Red Bull). Thanks Zappos, you're awesome.

I have been wearing these shoes for at least 10 years or so, and they never cease to amaze me. I have the black and white pair, and they go pretty much well with everything. I am around 6'1, 165 lbs and when I wear skinny jeans of any color, they look really well. I get quite a few compliments on them. I fancy the black ones a bit more then the white ones because they are both more versatile and my personal taste. They are flat shoes, but are relatively comfortable, and I sometimes wear them to work as well. Good price, great shoe and amazing service from Zappos!

I love the classic Adidas shoes. It's hard to find decent shoes nowadays. I've been wearing Sambas since I was a little kid, and the classics are my personal favorite. I, myself, like the longer tongue on these. They fit very well, good support and comfort and they last for quite a while too. They conform to your foot within the first couple of times you wear them. They come at a great price too, and with those three stripes, everyone knows what you're rockin'. Zappos did a great job on the shipping too. Thanks!
