Look closely at the photo. The tongue on this pair of shoes is WAAAAY to long. It would do well on a pair of high tops. I even tried to fold it over the laces but it's made of plastic or something and it won't stay folded over. I returned them.

The shoe is very stylish and smart. It is however very narrow and long, people with more rounded feet with heavy tops have difficulty putting the shoe on and once its on it hurts on both sides of the toes. The picture does not show it very long but in reality the shoe is not suitable for broad feet.

please heed the reviews that talk about the tongue on this monster. I didn’t - but, it’s no joke. I had my sons go and line up their sambas with the pair I ordered and mine is simply unwearable. you can fold the tongue over the laces and it will go half way down the shoe. I just don’t get it. this has to be a mistake doesn’t it?

Super bummed about this - I decided to replace my beloved Sambas and found they had changed the tongue - it has to be about 2" longer than the original...! No idea what I would do with that extra length and super uncomfortable!

Awful! I don't even think these had real leather. I guess I should have got Adidas Originals Samba. Not at all what I am used to and was expecting. I never return things, this was the exception.

Junk. Poor quality. I've been wearing these for about 30 years. They have totally cheapened the product. The leather used to be very soft, now it's stiff as the cardboard box they come in. The insoles were not glued down. Also, the insoles seemed about 1/2 size larger than the sneaker. Shame on you Adidas. Used to be a great sneaker. I guess this is what happens when you keep looking for an even cheaper third world hell hole factory to make them in.

I used to have a pair of these back when I was still in college. I loved them. These were not the same. They run smaller. The arch feels higher, which for me with flat feet this isn't great. I thought I had to break them in a bit, but I just can't they hurt my feet so much. I can't return them now either cause I wore them. Big waste of money.

The worst shoe ever. I stepped on rock and the bottom got a hole!
