AMAZED! This is the third pair of Timberlands I've purchased for my husband and each pair gets better and better! I could not find the size in the previous boot I ordered so I look at the recommendations and saw the PRO Pit Boss soft toe, ordered it one day and it arrived the next. My husband said this boot is the best of all - no "break-in" time necessary.

Great product and service as usual - This is one great shoe. It fit well from the start. I don't even think about going any place but Zappos.com for shoes.

Wet rebar walking - The grip on the sole is not as good on this shoe as it is on the oil soak model, especially in wet conditions. Be careful. Other than the above the shoe is fine.

Excellent- I was looking for a boot that not only fit my size but did the intended job, and was comfortable. I was surprised when I found this boot did it all. Being a 15 EW isn't easy to find in any store. I plan on getting all of my shoes here in the future. Thank you.

They're good shoes - I'm happy with these shoes. The fit and width are nice. The tongue is stiff but it's wearing in very well.

Good solid boot - After wearing these boots for about a year, I am very happy with them. After a break in period, I find these boots comfortable to wear all day. Yes, they are a bit heavy, but when it is more important to have a solid, well built, durable boot, weight is simply a good exercise tool.

Gotta love Timberland - I was very happy to recieve my boots and the sizes were right on the money, a perfect fit.

restaurant manager - I ordered these shoes for my husband. He is the general manager of a local restaurant. Recently, he has had spurs in his heels. He was having problems standing and walking after he had been sitting for an extended period of time. Since these shoes arrived, he is doing better. He has even suggested this shoe for his assistant managers. I was impressed with the speed of delivery of Zappos. I ordered his shoes around 4:30 EST and they arrived in less than 24 hours!! Very comfortable. I'm working hard every day on construction,spending long hours standing 'n walking. This boots are not only 5 stars, are healthy. 3 months ago I bought another brand boots, and pain on my back I began to feel, I just get this Timberland 'n my pain gone.

Pitt Boss is a go anywhere work boot - This boot is great. I've worn it in 4 inch deep mud while turkey shooting as well as during an all day sight-seeing tour of Washington DC. While a bit heavy for 6 miles of touring the monuments, my feet stayed dry while everyone elses got wet.

A fine, good looking shoe. Slips on and off easily. Fairly stiff out of the box. Too early tell how they will loosen up, but comfortable even in this new condition.

Great Boots - The color(dark brown) is so rich, it looks like you could eat them. I bought them for my brother for Christmas. When he opened them he was soo pleased. He says they are very comfortable and look great!

Pleasantly surprised - For Christmas, I had wanted to order the Timberland Pro 6" Pit Boss soft toe for my fiance however, when contacting Timberland directly, they did not have his size (12W) available. Luckily, I found Zappos and not only did they have the shoes in stock but I received them within 3days. My fiance was very surprised and has found the shoes to be both comfortable and superior in quality. Thank you!!

Another great product from Timberland - I've had plenty of Timberlands. They are the best! I wear them for work, school and just general knocking around in. My summer job is working the asphalt crew paving streets. These boots take that kind of abuse and keep my feet comfortable all day. If they weren't covered with tar, I could just wear them right out in the evening for running around. You can't beat Timberland comfort and durability. This pair is no exception. I get a pair in the fall for college, wear them thru the winter, then wear them right into the summer for work, then the cycle starts again. I'll be back for more when this pair wears out.

Nice boots, so far holding up well. Husband says the heel is very uncomfortable. The back of the heel tends to rub. Zappos, as usual, was reliable and wonderful.

They took a week to break in, but after that they felt great. I have been wearing them for a year now with now problems, wore them literally every single day for two semesters and now were them every single day doing brick work and landscaping. I plan on buying another pair. The only issue is that they are not waterproof around the tongue.

I like the style, sturdiness and construction. Very nice shoe. It is a bit big, however. I wear a 14 generally, and feel a 13 1/2 would have provided a better fit, however this size was not available. I purchased an aftermarket insole and this seems to be doing the trick.

Boots were exactly as described. Very comfortable after a short 2 day breaking in period.
