The 4th loop from the bottom is not very conducive to pulling the bottom lace tight. Would have been better off to have put another eyelet hole like the others in the location. I replace that piece with a hook and they lace tight. Otherwise a excellent boot.

Boots are very heavy, and were difficult to break in. I had to alternate wearing them every other day to try and break them in. After three months, the eyelets broke while lacing them up. I was expecting more from a high end boot.

These boots simply do not hold up. Have been wearing them for 2 months and the sole is separating, stitching's are coming out, and leather is wearing out.

This is a good work boot for its price, but I don't foresee them holding up in the field for very long. I've owned these boots for only a month and the souls are starting to creak. I imagine they will be separating pretty soon. Also, these boots are borderline dangerous to walk in snowy conditions. The way the tread on the should is designed, there is very little tread to keep the boot from sliding sideways on packed snow. They will lose lateral grip unpredictably, so much that I will be replacing them soon for this reason. One other aspect I do not like is the leather is too soft not very durable. Too many issues popping up within a month of owning these boots. I will not even bother contacting the Timberland. Maybe I got a fluke set but I'm not willing to find out again. Summary: This is a good "stylish" boot, but I can't recommend them for professional use.

So, i got these boss dogs awhile back and realized the left shoe was a half or full size smaller than the right. The label read 12 on both shoes. I don't know what was up. I couldn't return them as i had gone to work and slag shoes don't have a return value... pretty disappointed.

My husband has worn the same boot with a shorter shaft and they were the most comfortable work boots he has ever worn. I'm not sure how I ordered the wrong pair( or if) but when these came in, he decided to wear them. What a mistake! His feet are hurting worse than they did when he was wearing his very worn out pair. I'm not sure if the quality has changed or if maybe they are a bad fit. Don't know if we'll buy timberland again. This was his 5th pair.

I used these for 2 days and they got awful stains. Used leather boot polish and they got ruined. Very dissatisfied. Would love a refund or a replacement pair for around the house

This shoe was larger than expected. Some of my shoes are size 12. This 11 1/2 was too big. I decided to try them with inserts but even that was not great. After several wearings one of the eyelets pulled out of the leather. For that reason I am returning them..

I have been buying this boot since 2008 and wore them everyday to work. I just recieved my latest pair and return customers should know that this is no longer the same boot. The older version made in the Dominican Republic was one of the best boots ever. The new model Timberland Pro 6" Pit Boss soft toe is made in China. In every single way possible: leather, fit, stitching, sole, and the overall quality, it is inferior to what was manufactured in the Dominican Republic.

Maybe I just got a bad pair but I had the return label printed in about five seconds. First problem...as I was lacing them up the middle leather portion between the corner seams next to the bottom eyelets got completely bunched up and folded. It was like there was either too much leather or the eyelet panel was sewn too low. Next, there was no tongue left when I got done lacing them. The laces would have been free to rub against my leg. Finally, there were multiple thick, plastic threads poking through the eyelet panel seams on the inside of the boot that I could feel scraping the top of my foot through my sock. I don't know if I got a defective product or if these Timberlands that are meant to be worn strictly for style with no laces or very loose laces. I do know that they are not staying on my feet!

Could be a bit tougher - Been wearing this model for maybe 8 years now. The last pair I had got these gouge scratches in them, so I was looking forward to wearing them out and replacing them. 2 or 3 weeks after I finally did, the new pair also received some gouge scratches. I am not the most graceful guy, but it seems these shoes have been scratching too easily lately.

Are you all serious? This is not a real timberland comfort shoe. It felt like a knockoff. On my very first day wearing them one of the shoelace holders broke off. Besides that they are very uncomfortable and hurt my leg above the ankle. It's a terrible design and I am very disappointed. I have many other shoes form timberland and they were always great. This is not true timberland brand.

Boots were purchased 1/26/25, the foam ankle pad is horrible, painful above the ankles were it supposed to aid in support and comfort, I'm on my feet 12 hrs a day 6 days a week, these boots do nothing but cause pain and bruising above ankles were it makes contact with body, been a timberland user for a very long time and it seems Q/Q is going out the door, seems fashion is becoming more important over the working aspect. Bottom line terrible, uncomfortable and stuck with a product I cant use do to misplacement of receipt.

These have to be the most uncomfortable boots i have ever owned. After all day use i always end up with blisters on my heels from rubbing no matter how I tie them or how thick my socks are.

I had written a review for them within the year, but can't find it. Don't waste your money if you want Timberland for work. The quality is not what it used to be, it seems the leather is as thin as they can make it. Purchased for my son at Christmas for work, he wore them for less than 2 weeks before toe ripped. Timberland does not warranty for ripped boots, I sent photos and filled out the forms. I guess they would be ok to wear fashion wise, definitely not a work boot.

These shoes are horrible for the feet. The heel is really tough and stiff. No breathability at all. Do not recommend if you work long hours or do a lot of walking. The outer material also fades instantly.

These used to be great boots when they were made in the Dominican Republic (now made in Bangladesh). The Rebotl material caused foot irritation (itchiness and redness) and the upper rubber surround is much harder and extremely uncomfortable. This was going to be my 3rd pair of boots in the past 10 years. I had to return them to Dicks for a full refund.
