I purchased a pair of these work boots over 9 months ago and they've certainly done a solid job of protection my toes, but they wear out WAY too quickly. My soles have worn out rather quickly and the inner sole has developed holes and rough spots which irritate me feet. Overall these are a decent pair of work boots, but I would recommend going with a better, more expensive pair which will hopefully last you longer.

My husband loves these boots. I only gave a three out of five for overall because I ordered a 9½ soft toe, but Zappos sent a size 9 steel toe. Fortunately, they fit and he says they are very comfortable and have great support and cushioning. I do not know if this brand runs half a size bigger, but for my husband, that seems to be the case. He is pretty rough on boots so hopefully these will last.

My second pair. I don't know why, they kind of suck. But I was lazy and didn't shop around. Not the worst, definitely not the best. Mediocre, if you will.

I ordered a size 9 1/2 EE. I received a size 9 1/2 W, which was by no means wide enough for my feet. I called and was told that EE=W and that Zappos doesn't stock an EE.

I recently purchased a second pair of the boots because I wore the other pair out. Less than three weeks into having them, one of the shoelace hooks broke off and now the are unwearable. I really, really liked these boots. I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day and they were the very comfortable. Now I have to save up to get another pair (maybe).

Width was extreme. D was too narrow. W was too sloppy. Overall not a solid feeling boot. I returned them and bought the Timberland PRO Direct Attach 6" Soft Toe instead. Much better boot!

These boots are very comfortable, but for the price they should at least be water proof! I got a little water on them and they have this horrible stain. Other than that these are great boots.

A little hard to break in. Hurt me at the ankle on the outside but I'm bowlegged so I figure that accounted for the discomfort. I stuck with them and after a few days, they were broke in and fit real well. Maybe a little foam padding on the outside of the uppers would solve the problem.

I bought these boots for work last year. Usually my boots last 2 or 3 years. This time, less than a year later my feet are killing me. I usually buy the timberland pro insoles but this time they didn't help. I spent extra money on different insoles. Same thing. Its like they're are making them bot to last. This is ridiculous. Costing me more money.

Overall, the boot seemed like a fine boot. Once I put it on however I found that the steel plate in the heel (I'm of course referring to the steel-toe version), comes up way too high and effectively makes crouching a small form of torture. #sweepstakes

I haven't worn them very much and I can already see they aren't going to last very long. These are definitely not pro quality boots. I only use them to do lawn work around my house and probably haven't worn them for 48 hours total and I can already see stuff coming apart. Even the boots tongue won't stay in place they fall over to one side. I've been wearing this brand for a long time and I will not buy any more. The quality control is not there anymore.

Nice boots but they are definitely not slip resistant. I'm a truck driver and have slipped and fallen twice already with these boots. Once while walking on ice in a parking lot and a second time inside a store on a wet floor.

Everything is fantastic about these non water proof boots except for the width. I'm absolutely not happy with the claim of being 9W but not in reality not a good wide fit just totally narrow no if ands buts about it. In my opinion it's half inch - 2 inch small depending on type of socks worn. Normally I wear and use mid weight work socks but I've recently tried dress socks as thin as I can buy but no use because the boot doesn't have any give in stretch Opinion 2 ) Go half size to maybe avoid pinching and just repeatedly hits to sides I switched from wolverine due too there lack of durability and there so called waterproof boots / shoes sizing is terrible as well now timberland size issues ughh 2 stars just based on width painful fit Everything else about them is fine

I work outdoor construction, I first bought a pair of these in 2006, great boots that held up for more than 4 years. I recently got back into the construction buisness and bought another pair, This new pair didn't last 6 months before stitching on side of boot near heel blew out and the first layer of the sole began to separate from the boot. 10+ years ago I swore by these boots, but quality and quality control have certainly gone down hill, I had to try on at least 5 different pairs at the store and all had different flaws to the them until I was able to find a right boot in one pair and left in another that did have flaws.

I work in the concrete trade, the sole is made of 2 parts. I typically climb scaffolding leading with my left foot. The sole splits from the bottom of the boot. I was able to cut the bottom sole off but now there is no traction. Would not recommend if you rely on your boots for safety and make money.

I work in automotive wrecking and I figured these would work just fine, I was wrong. In the first week got a huge gash in the side which pretty much made them not water resistant at all and there's very little support. I bought them in November of 2020 and they are pretty much falling apart. I've had pairs of Vans that have held up to more abuse.

I have been wearing the Timberland Pro Pit Boss boots for years with no issues. The last 2 pairs just did not hold up. The soles failed prematurely and the Timberland warranty personnel denied my claims both times stating "normal wear and tear" even though though they're less than one year old.

Similar to other reviews I’ve read these boots have a very bad ankle rub on the right side. I thought they just might need breaking in, but the issue never improved. Timberland customer service was no help. Only way I salvaged these was to always wear neoprene ankle wraps so that my ankle skin isn’t rubbed raw after a few hour’s wearing. Very disappointing for a timberland product.

I bought the 20th anniversary boot on sale. Even at 30% off the retail price I couldn't keep the boots. They looked nothing like the photo on the website. The orange leather liner is plastic looking and makes the whole boot look and feel cheap.

I had high hope for this boot after reading many glowing reviews. However, I am sorely disappointed. They are not comfortable at all. The toe box feels so narrow and crushed my toes in. Normally I do not get a wide size, but maybe that would help here. The insole feels non-existent and SQUEAKS so loudly. If I didn't already wear them and get them dirty, I would for sure be returning these.

Loved these boots. However after a couple months of near daily use, one of the toes is scuffed through. I work all day doing maintenance and repair so it’s within normal use for me. I’d seen such good reviews I had high hopes of these lasting awhile but for the price and how long they last, I’ll go back to big chain discount store brands.
