Good Boot the one thing that needs to be fixed are the speed laces if you need to use a regular boot lace it is a tight fit. Where I work you are required to use Arc flash shoe laces and it is a tight in the speed laces. Great arch support. overall I am pleased with this boot

It's a great boot, gets the job done. There is one con however, it may just be me and the way I wear them but my innersoles are shot. They have worn away in some areas. Again, it may just be the way I wear them.

Pros: Very comfortable from 1st day. After break-in, can stand in all day without fatigue. They have the traction I was looking for. Looks good too. Like the quick lace system. Cons: The hard plastic/rubber bottoms aren't as flexible and pliable as I'd hope. This inhibits your confidence for fast pivoting or plant and go movements as well as bending at the tow when on your knees. With all the movement above, the shoe laces often become untied. In freezing weather the bottoms freeze and feels like walking on a platform. Scale 1-10, I'd give them an overall 7 for a dependable work boot.

I didn't give it 5 stars but this is still a great shoe. I work in a refinery and the oil resistant soles have definitely sold me on this shoe. To be fair, I purchased them here on Zappos in July 13 and it's now Feb 14. I use them daily at work. These are good shoes. They take a while to soften up but the heel area is a little hard. I've put a small insert and it's fine now. These shoes double as a winter boot for me and I've since shelved my winter boots. It's really water proof. Never slipped outside or in the refinery on the slippery oil floors. A tad heavy but you'll get used to it. My only complaint was with sizing. I wear a consistent 9.5 street shoe size. I preferred the 9 but the toe box seemed stiff and a little narrow. When you go up to 9.5 it feels like the width is now too wide. I was confused but ended up going with the 9.5 due to long periods of standing and walking in them. Get the size that fits you best. I didn't want to have a snug shoe that made my toes curl.

Good looking shoes, it feels a little wider than specified but overall I'm happy with this purchase. The only bad thing is they aren't waterproof as I thought all Timberland boots were...

I've been wearing these for work for about 6 weeks. They are not as comfortable as the discontinued Wolverine boots with Durashock soles I have been wearing for many years. I have fairly high arches and the arch support is pretty minimal so I am considering inserts to help with that. They seem fairly well made but I have always had trouble with soles separating from the uppers before the soles wear out, time will tell. These are not uncomfortable, despite what I think is a shortcoming in support, and for the price have been a good investment I feel.

I bought these boots for my husband's birthday and he loves them. At first he was scared that they would take a while to break in, but they did not take any time at all. They are very comfortable and sturdy. I cannot wait for the snow to use them in the elements! The only thing is that that they are not the most attractive boots on the market, but that is not why you buy boots like this, is it?

I like the boots. I think it took me several days to break them in. I kept feeling something on the sides. Now they are very comfortable. I love them. Thanks!

Great pair of boots. Sharp looking and very warm and comfortable. Mostly use them casually but have had no complaints when using them in the snow or for work purposes. Boots were shipped in no time.

They get the job done. I'm on my 2nd pair of these boots. I work 45-50 hours a week on my feet most of the time, and it's all on abrasive surfaces (concrete, asphalt, gravel). They hold up pretty well, and are extremely comfortable. I would have to say these things partake in "severe beatings" under my use in the lumberyard. Some of the stitching came undone on my first pair, and I walk in them so much that the plastic on the midsole split and broke apart from the foam, letting all of the elements attack my feet. Hasn't happened to my newer ones yet, but then again they're barely three months old.

I would NOT recommend Skechers work shoes..Two bad experiences. They need to stick to crappy sneakers!!!

Takes a while to break it but so far - pretty good - I'm a big fan of the Timberland Pros boots and I really need a lot of comfort and protection because I have a bad leg. So far the boots are taking time to break in but are very comfortable. I ordered the wide because that was all they had and it turns out they fit perfectly so I'm thinking they might run a little (just a little) narrow.

Inserts please - Boot hurt the first two days (plastic heel cup). After I put a hefty gel insert in, it was fine... in fact its pretty darn great. I recommend this boot to any working man. Just be ready with some inserts!

The boots were too rigid and hard, and that part where you tie up the laces . It was low. It was making pressure on top of my foot.

Bought because I liked my none steel toe of the same model but in a plain 15 regular width so I sized up and bought 15 wide and steel toe is still too narrow. Digs into your feet.

Had mine for less than a year and they are already very worn down. The insole is cheap and my foot rubbed a hole into it where my big toe is.

I thought I would buy the wide because on the last pair of timberland ( that I purchased last year ) were a little snug. However after wearing once I discovered that the wide is too much and after 8 hrs my ankle was extremely sore from the leather rubbing against it.

Love the style but the fit was honestly terrible and they felt very stiff. I wore them for about a half of a day at work and ended up with massive blisters on my heels
