This is my kind of shoe - After years of abusing my feet (as a nurse, I have a lot of night tours under my feet), I no longer want to wear any kind of shoe that feels constricting. Consequently, I have many pairs of Birkenstocks and it's almost impossible for me to wear anything else. Once you've liberated your feet, you can never go back! The Haiti is a really pretty shoe and they fit my feet like a glove! I too would like to see more colors. Birkenstock and Zappos: Keep up the good work!

Great Fitting Shoe - The shoes were a gift from my daughter and I love them. They fit great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Haiti Birkenstocks are wonderful! I have been wearing Birkenstocks for many, many years and mainly wear the Arizona style. Thought I'd take a chance and try the Haiti. I LOVE them! I have severe back problems and my feet also have a tendency to swell. I feel very supported in the Haiti. Also, I don't have to be afraid of getting them wet, which is great! Just wipe 'em off and you're ready to go! Plus, for a Birkenstock, the price is right. I ordered them in blue and they're really "cool" as my teenage neighbor remarked! They are a wee bit heavier than the Arizona, but that doesn't interfere with the comfort at all. First day I wore them I had no problems adjusting to them. Only wish they come in bright colors for the summer!

Waterproof Mexico Birki's - Haven't really decided yet. I like them, but I haven't worn them to the beach yet.

I have probably A wide feet and had to drill a couple of extra holes to cinch them up a little tighter.

Good Job Zappos - Zappoos was flawless in their performance again. Got the shoes faster than expected. Birkos are not the same as Birks, but they are as advertised. I'd do it again in a minute. Sizing was dead-on and delivery was a delight.

A fun and comfortable sandal - I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of this non-leather sandal. The straps are lined with what feels like felt, so they're quite soft. The footbed has little raised bumps to keep your foot from sliding around, which makes them easy to walk in. I find that the straps are slightly wider than a standard Birkenstock, but otherwise they're just as comfortable as the suede Birks I usually get.

Very Comfy - I have owned these for about a month and I think they are even more comfortable than the cork-style Birkenstocks! And I ordered them on a Saturday morning from Zappos and they were delivered on Monday afternoon - it doesn't get better than that. They are pretty wide (I have the regular width ones) but I have wide feet so they work for me...

This shoe is very comfortable. As Birkenstocks go it is attractive, although I feel Birkenstocks, in general, are a little clunky in appearance.

Judy's thoughts - I didn't think I would like this as much as my other Birkenstock's but I do. They massage the feet and are very comfortable.

Love it! I love this sandal!!! I get compliments on them all the time (I have the postcard pattern). The only complaint is that they are very wide- and I have wide feet. As a result, they tend to rub against my toe a bit after wearing all day. But, I'm still crazy about them!

I bought this sandal. I was happy with it until I tried it on. My foot is too thin for it. In order for me to feel comfortable, I have to pull the straps really tight. I did not like the look after doing so.

These shoes fit true to size and provide great comfort. I highly recommend these.

It's okay but the non-leather sole causes feet to sweat.

I love the shoe, but the iridescence of it isn't conveyed in the picture. I purchased what I thought was a brown shoe, and it came in a reflective, shiny copper. I love that the footbed isn't cork. I can bum around in these in all weather and not worry about destroying the shoe.

I really like the way these look on my feet and they're super comfortable. I do have a couple of problems with them though. The sole is a lot deeper than my other pair of Birkenstocks (which cradle my feet wonderfully), but it doesn't allow for as much breathability as I would like, especially since it is a plastic/rubber sole. Also, it is bigger than marked; a full size long and just a tad wide. I still recommend them though, and I love walking around in them.

Birkenstock Rememberted - I bought my first Birkenstock years ago when they were I believe around $50. They are now in the $80's so I thought that I was getting a great deal for this style, however the sandal is way too big and the foot area seems to be some sort of plastic, not what I remember Birkenstock being. Mine I believe was a cork or cork-like material that was very comfortable. I can't see myself wearing a plastic shoe during the summer.

Took a while to break in - I just got back from a 1.5 hour walk to a waterfall in the rainforest of Ghana. It might be too much too soon for these rubber shoes and my feet hurt with potential blisters. No actual blisters. I am comparing them to true Birkenstock which I can hike in all day long.

Shiny, bright and wide - I ordered the narrow, hoping that they would fit my skinny feet. No dice. I could walk right out of them, even when they were on the tightest setting. But even if they did fit, they were a little brighter and a lot shinier than I expected (the cyber storm multi pattern). Keep that in mind when ordering.

If it fit, which it doesn't !!! I will be returning both shoes and choosing others.
