Great shoe. I have to wear an orthotic and these are the best shoes that I have found. Would buy a navy pair if Propet would make it.

Comfortable for walking! This is one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. I'm usually a 10, but had to exchange for a 10.5 and I'm glad they made that size. I walk long distances almost every day and on trips I prefer to bring only one pair of shoes, so these work perfectly for both situations: comfortable and rugged yet suitably stylish. I Scotchguarded them and I've worn them in rain and (light) snow and haven't had a problem with wet feet. The rubber soles offer comfort and great traction. The Velcro closure is convenient, fast and good for exact tightening. The low-key style and black color work well with jeans/pants and skirts/dresses. If I could, I would make them a little funkier, because they're a tad orthopedic looking, but the comfort has been worth it. My only other small complaints: I've had them just under a year and I can feel them compressing and wearing down inside (maybe especially because I overpronate), so that I think I'll have to replace them sooner than I'd wanted to. The cover on the insole dislodged under my heel almost immediately, and since it contains some of the padding and is not removable, I've had to superglue it back in place several times to keep from walking on a ridge of material under my heel. But overall, I'm glad I sprang for these shoes (it's more than I usually pay), because I've worn them almost every day since last fall to this spring.

Cute but cutting - I loved the look of this shoe online and it was even cuter when it arrived. Unfortunately, the edge of the cutout at the front cut sharply into my foot. I have a high instep and the Velcro strap made the fit across the instep perfect. I just could not get past the cutting edge of the front. I will sadly return them. I don't think a larger size would help. I have had this experience with other Mary-Jane styles. I thought I'd give it a try since others reviews indicated that it was a great shoe. I think it probably is when the fit is good.

Comfy - A really comfortable and easy to wear shoe!

Comfortably attractive - I have very fussy feet (fighting plantar fasciaitis and an old dance injury), and seem to spend most of my day in sneakers. However, I needed something a little bit more dressy, and these fit the bill. My orthotic inserts fit in the shoe very nicely, and I'm able to wear the shoe all day if necessary. Thanks! It's great to be able to get out of a sneaker.

Wide, But Not Wide Enough for US! Really cute shoes, but the wide width didn't quite make it. Boy were we disappointed that they didn't work, as they're well-made and nice looking too!

Balm for wretched feet - First time a dress shoe did not have to be "broken in" . My orthodics fit inside so I could have arch support. We'll see how they perform on the London Underground trek to the threatre.

I love my Propet Mary Jane Walkers. This is the most comfortable shoe I've worn in a long time without being extremely heavy. I have frequent leg pain caused by diabetes and need a sturdy but not heavy shoe. These fit the bill perfectly and still look cute and feminine. I will definitely buy these again. I wish they were available in a wide variety of colors. I'd buy a pair of each. The only problem is a common one with any shoe that has a Velcro closure. If the vamp of your foot is high, the strap doesn't always cover all the Velcro attached to the body of the shoe. The solution is to purchase Velcro to match the shoe and cut a piece to match the shape of the Velcro that's exposed when your shoes are fastened. Rub the sticky side (of the Velcro piece you cut) with your palm and the stickiness wears off quickly. Then just adhere the Velcro you cut to the exposed Velcro on the shoe. It's not noticable and will keep exposed Velcro from snagging the hem of your slacks (or your hose if you cross your ankles while sitting).

Special needs feet - Propet has done it again. I've struggled with brand after brand to accomodate my post-op orthotics and still find a look appropriate for work. This shoe has ample room for the orthotics and is a super comfortable shoe. Granted, it's not the sleeek business pumps I used to wear; however, it looks great with pants suits. Now, if they would just add some colors to this model like navy or burgundy!

Mary Jane Walker my new favorite - I knew that I loved this shoe from the moment I strapped it on, but the proof came on a Saturday when I chose them over my once beloved sneakers! These are truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Zappos is #1 on my list for customer service too!

The only shoe I wear - I am really enjoying this shoe. I have a need for shoes with removeable footbeds and these are wonderfully comfortable even without the provided footbed.

Definitely one of the most comfortable shoes ever! I'd like to thank all the others who contributed their reviews of this shoe because it really helped me decide to get it for myself. Really roomy and super comfy, I love this shoe. The arch support is also awesome. They really run wide so I think their medium width would accommodate a C or D width foot really well (I know, cuz I have wide feet!). Only "bad" thing is we need more flashy colors...like red! I'd recommend this shoe to anyone who's had problems finding a good comfortable shoe that's perfect if you're on your feet all day or in my case, walk all day. Thanks Propet!

GOOD WALKING SHOE - Wonderful when you need to be just a bit dressier than a trainer. Great for sightseeing, etc.

Great Shoe - I have a wide foot and have trouble finding shoes that fit and look nice. These are great. I Love Propet's products. I have many different colors and styles. Great value for the price. I have never been disappointed with my purchases and Zappos has been an excellent place to shop.

Great fit for wide width! I have very flat feet and usually have problems with new shoes creating blisters, but these shoes fit me immediately with absolutely no problems! Plus I like the look, they have the comfort of sneakers but a nice casual look to wear with pantyhose.

I loved this shoe right from the moment I put it on, great features! It has a high arch support that feels so good, a wide and high toe box, and the adjustable strap is good for feet that swell. Even in well-fitting shoes, my feet usually hurt during the day, these are the least painful/pain-provoking shoes I own. Note to Propet company, make these in more colors, please!

This Is A Cool Shoe! I just started a new job and needed a black, dressier shoe. It also had to be comfortable, since I am on my feet all day long on tile floors. This shoe is perfect. It has a surprising amount of support and looks nice. I did not need any break-in time at all. The adjustable velcro strap allows me to fit it perfectly. Now, if only it came in the narrow (AA) width, and in some pretty colors, like red.

I bought this shoe because of the good reviews and because the velcro straps will allow me to take them off and put them back on easily at the airport. They fit well and felt comfortable from the first steps. They are also cute. I love the opportunity Zappos gives for reviews. they make all the difference in the world when selecting a shoe.

Great shoe - I wore this shoe all day the first day I received it, I never do this. It is completely comfortable, no blisters, no rub or aggravation. It felt very true to size. Too bad they don't have funkier colors! I would highly recommend this shoe. I've had foot surgery recently, and this is perfect for me.

My favorite shoe! I love this shoe! I just wish they carried it in more colors [blue, brown, etc.]. I wear orthotics and they fit into this shoe nicely. I'm on my feet all day and these shoes make me feel like I'm barefoot.

Pretty Walker A good deep toe box with a padded low ankle and very adjustable instep strap make this shoe fit great and rub nowhere. It is almost a small platform maryjane and has good quality leather. With dress pants that cover the velcro strap it looks as pretty as a dressier shoe. The removable insole is smooth, perforated, and has a good arch support. Great shoe if you are on your feet a lot or do a lot of walking.

Got these for my 81 year old mother she has a size 11 wide. She had similar shoes recommended by a specialist here in Australia she was nervous ordering online near impossible to get shoes for her over here and what if they don't fit Well they fit nicely good room in the toe box section booked her in for her orthotics straight away I took the gamble and ordered them from Zappos they had such a large selection and easy to navigate site with great review's. I had them sent to a freight forwarding agent in Oregon Zappos sent them quickly for free thanks Zappos made the whole transaction super smooth and my mother is happy we will be back

I would probably need this shoe in a half size smaller but will not order it as the straps are too short so the Velcro is uncovered for at least 1/2 inch which leads to problems with clothing etc. Wish Propet would make straps longer.
