I have bought this style shoe for more than 4 years and I will continue wearing them. I have an extra wide foot and the are extremely comfortable.

I have worn these plain toe Rockports since I was in the military in the 60's Because they shine up good and are so comfortable.

I discovered Rockport Margins and Northfields back in the 90s and they have reliably served me ever since. I buy a new pair every year or two as the old ones begin to look worn. I need the XW size -- standard width shoes cause terrible pain. and these are the only shoes I can always count on. Though very similar in style, I prefer the Margins for appearance because they have 5 pair of eyelets, Northfields have 4 pair. Other than that, I'm really not sure what the differences between the two styles are. The website descriptions note different features but having worn them both, I've found them both to be very similar.

i bought these for my husband. Though it Is hard to find shoes that fit, he loves these and wears them nearly every day to work.

I do a fair amount of walking despite having a desk job, so I was really concerned since a prior pair of shoes required inserts to be comfortable. Without any inserts, these shoes have easily been among the most comfortable I've had, and the clean look is perfect for the office. Not too fancy, not too casual: these are the definition of "business casual" that is common in modern office environments.

I bought these as a gift for Christmas for my son. He does have trouble with his feet and the Rockport Margin he wears are very comfortable.

So comfortable that sometimes I forget that I have them on. If you are 4E width, order extra wide. I ordered wide based on a previous Rockport purchase and they were too narrow. Exchanged them via FedEx (return label included, no charge for exchanges) and had the new pair in less than 2 weeks.

My husband will only wear these shoes. No break-in needed.

This was my second pair of these shoes. Very durable and comfortable.

I've been wearing these shoes for work for the last dozen years and I love them. I wear them every day in my business casual office but also into the plant and out in the field. They are comfortable for being on your feet all day (I use a standing desk). I usually get 2-3 years of life out of them before I wear down the soles; then I just buy the same thing again. Previous pairs seemed pretty waterproof which I loved; this pair seems to leak slightly at the seam where they attach to the sole so I'll probably have to treat them. It's a bit of a disappointment as I never had to do it with past pairs and I currently have damp socks from walking through a wet field. I hope they otherwise live up to my expectations of past pairs. The shoes break-in quickly and give good support (I actually miss wearing them on weekends). They seem to be harder to find online now so I decided to buy two pairs this time in case they decide to discontinue them.
