I adore these shoes. They have been wonderful in my battle against plantar fasciitis, providing ample arch support and wonderful cork cushioning. I normally wear a size 8 sandal, but having read warnings that these run short, I tried both 8 (38) and 9 (39). The 9s (39s) fit like a glove (or maybe I should say a sock). Every morning, I limp to them for that "ahhhhh" moment of relief. They slide on and off with ease, yet they stay on firmly when walking. I think they are perfection!

I love this shoe. I ordered the color bronze star and absolutely love it. It looks great with a tan and is neutral enough to wear with many colors. This shoe is well worth the price. I have a narrow foot and was afraid it would look loose and floppy, but it doesn’t at all. I wear a size 6 and the 36 fits perfectly.

I love, love, love the sandals! They were comfortable right out of the box with no break in time. Very comfortable.

I bought this you because I have a horrible ankle problems. It was a shoe that looked stylish for the summer and I could get away with wearing sandals yet having great arch support for my feet . This shoe is very comfortable! It was a great buy!

loved the shoe but unfortunately the leather cut into my big toes so I have to return them.

I don't know how I made it before Mephisto Helens! I have 5 pairs, and will probably buy 2 more. I wear them everywhere, and they are so comfortable. Even my podiatrist agreed that I have terrible feet, so to find a show that is actually wearable all day is wonderful!

I am a size 8 and got the 38. They are super comforter right off the bat. I have had birkenstocks in the past. After having these on and then switching back to my Birks, my Birks were so hard feeling. Granted they are several years old and broken in. I am planning on eventually getting more colors in these. I do have to say that the rubber sole on one of my shoes seems a bit harder than the other. I could hear it more when I walked on my hardwood floors. (if that makes sense) I decided it wasn't a deal breaker for me and kept them. I can't tell anymore after having worn them outside. Will still plan on getting more of these.

I would buy these for the look, even if I had not had three foot surgeries and could wear any old shoes. These are the only sandals I wear, and believe me, I have tried all the “comfort” brands. I bought the silver to be my summer dress shoes—- they are my seventh pair. I am never without two or three pairs of these, and I don’t know what I would do if they ever stopped making them. Even my podiatrist approves, and he is a tough sell when it comes to anything but athletic shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. They look like birkenstocks but are worth the extra cost for how much more comfotable they are. I bought them after spraining my ankle as I needed more support most summery shoes could offer. These are super supportive and well made.

I like the style of this shoe a lot! It’s very comfortable and great for lots of walking. This is pretty much my everyday “go to” shoe! I would definitely suggest ordering a size up. I am normally a 7, and I can even wear 6 1/2 once in awhile, but this 7 was too short. I returned and swapped for the 8 and it’s perfect. That’s what I love about zappos! I did an easy online return, and the ups man brought the 8 the next day. And he took my returning pair to boot. :)

I have worn Mayari Birkenstocks for years... My favorite sandal. I have a lot of problems with pain in my feet, so in the last year I have tried many shoes. Bought these on the reviews others have left. They are more cushiony that my Mayari's. Definitely not as pretty. I will be using them at work. Have a feeling they won't be soft for more than a few months. I may regret the price...

Super comfortable - in the past I have not had much luck with Mephisto but these are very comfortable. the arch support is good, and falls in the right place for me, there is a super comfy grey suede footbed, and the blue nubuck is a great navy color.

I love these shoes so I ordered a second pair in White Venice on a super sale. I'm returning them because they're not really white, but rather white with strong beige undertone. It comes across more as light beige than white. Maybe that's why they were on a huge sale?

I love these shoes! Just wish I didn't have to return them. I wear 8.5M normally but ordered the 9M and sadly they're just too narrow for my feet. That's why I gave 3 stars for comfort.

I wear 8.5M in almost every shoe I own so i ordered this style in a 10 since the 9M I first ordered was too narrow. (See review on other purchase) I really like this style - it is very feminine as opposed to most of the clunkers that Birks offer so hoped I could wear it.

These sandals are pricey but the cheaper version made by another manufacturer looks cheap too. The materials for the sandals are of good quality. They feel great for kickin around in.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Would recommend to anyone with arch issues.

Love this shoe even more than my beloved Birkenstocks. Was a little skeptical at first because they felt somewhat narrow But the more I wear them the more comfortable they become. Great arch support. Great for walking around.

I was thrilled when I opened the box with these sandals in it! The picture doesn't do the color and material justice. There's a very nice shimmer to it. It took less than a day for the material around the toe area to soften and become quite comfortable. The size was exactly right and the foot bed is very comfortable while still giving me the strong support I need for my plantar fasciitis. Yes they are fairly expensive, but these days I am willing to spend extra to get the comfort I need. I plan on wearing these on a trip to San Antonio very soon.

I love these sandals! Comfortable and stylish making them my "go to" choice most of the time.

Out of the box this shoe is comfortable and fits well. I have a slightly narrow foot and I am a true 8 1/2 and I ordered a 39 which fits perfectly. The footbed is very comfortable and after my first full day of wearing them my feet were not tired. I did experience some chafing where the the toe loop fits between the big toe and second toe, but that is due to the stiffness of the leather (which has already softened up) and tenderness my skin which has been undercover all winter :) I have bunions on both feet and the straps conceal them without adding pressure. It's an attractive looking shoe off or on your feet. They are pricey, but you won't regret spending extra on these Mephisto sandals, which should last several seasons.

I love Love Love these sandals! They are my everyday go to comfy shoes. Years ago I had years ago a pair of these Mephisto sandals but didn’t buy a size up as suggested on Zappos site and the heel rubbed in the back. I’m so happy with my purchase that I just bought the same sandal in another color and expect them to arrive tomorrow.

This is a tough call for me, but the shoe was very pretty (Matisse), the leather was quality, the style was upbeat! However, the sad part was that my older, wider feet did not want to break them in. Plus, I guess I need to admit I can no longer wear shoes without a back strap! They did fit as I followed the advice of the reviewers and information from the company and went up one size. The leather was stiff but would soften with wear. They were well-made, and I will check out some other styles from this brand.

I’m sad they’re too short. Returning for a size up.
