Ugg's Brooks Tall- I normally wear a 6 1/2 shoe. According to the Zappos info you should order the next whole size up. I found the 7, which I ordered to be a little too big. My heel slips when I walk. Also, I found the names to describe their colors to be deceiving. If you want brown, order the Obsidian (even though, "Obsidian" means "Black"). I wanted the brown and ordered the "After Dark" because it looked dark brown on my computer. And since Obsidian is another word for black, I didn't want to take a chance and order it even though in the picture it looked like a chestnut brown. Very confusing! I ordered the After Dark (black), not my desired choice but decided to keep them since I wanted to wear them to a ski trip that I was leaving on the next day. I'm happy with them. They keep my feet very warm. A little strange getting used to not wearing socks!

Warmest boots I’ve ever worn- Very warm boots with moderate support (I put in my own insoles for greater arch support). Thankfully they are wide enough to cuff and wear as a shorter version. I took mine to cold Moscow in winter and was glad for the tall version. Important to waterproof before wearing.

Ugg Brooks Tall - These boots are so well made, the leather is durable and the shearling is really lush. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and needed a 9 in these, so I'd say they are pretty true to size. They aren't as comfortable as the Classic Uggs but they are a nice alternative.

I like to boots, but I've found that the fleece is coming out, and the skin on the back of my heels is gone, and the surrounding area bruised. I also find that water is getting in. I'm not sure if I just ended up getting a bad pair. Otherwise I do like them, and they are comfortable, with the exceptions listed above.

Uggs are always fabulous feeling. the only drawback with these is that they are not form fitting in the calf area, therefore don't fit inside all pants well. so that's a bummer.

warm and weather proof!!! These are super cool boots! They fit snug at the calf, so your pants can fit over them...

Easily the best winter boot ever - They are super comfortable and warm. I do wish the shaft was more narrow - maybe if they had a zipper up the side it would help them not look totally like horseback riding boots. But they fit true to size - although the heel box is really tall so they do slip at the heel - regardless of lenth size. Once I put them on, I only took them off when I went to bed, for about a week. I love them!!

Roomy, warm, but not a lot of structural support - I have bunions so need extra room, and didn't want a boot which was suede, because I don't think they're as water resistant as leather. I had tried ordering another similiar sheepskin-lined all leather boot from another website (they charged me for restocking when I returned them!) which was same size (11) but put some pressure on the bunions. So I was delighted that these Uggs were roomy. I've only worn them a couple of times (without socks) and they're beautifully warm. We haven't had any significant precipitation to speak of, so I haven't been able to try them in deep snow/slush yet. The only thing I would criticize is that they're definitely clunky-looking and there isn't all that much arch support in the boot--my feet definitely get tired in them if I wear them for an extended period of time, or walk or stand in them for several hours. I also notice that the back, just above the heel collapses a little bit and rubs the back of my leg--because it's sheepskin lined it doesn't hurt or anything, but it's a little distracting. Kudos to Zappos customer service for getting them to me so quickly and for being so nice on the phone--much better than the other company I had to deal with. I would love to see a black sheepskin lined, all leather boot with an inside zipper that fit a little more snuggly against the leg (not the foot!) and looked a little more dressy. I would buy those in an instant.

Comfortable and weatherproof- a plus! Overall, this is a really terrific shoe. It definitely runs a full size larger than your normal shoe, but it is only offered in full sizes. I am a 7 1/2 and purchased a 7, which ended up working fine. It took me a few days to break them in, being that you wear them without socks. I have already worn them in the rain and have confidently made my 15 minute trek to work, sloshing through puddles and have come out with dry feet in the end. My main criticism would have to be that they are not as stylish as I would like them to be. The fabric around the calf does bell a bit. I would prefer if they fit more snugly there. And I do not like the white stitching around the front and sides of the shoe. I suppose I could take a marker or a pen to that, though. Overall- a terrific waterproof shoe. Snuggly and warm and dry!

Very comfortable - I am enjoying my Ugg boots! They are extremely comfortable and very warm. They are a bit "clunkier" looking than I'd hoped, but I love them!

It doesn't come with insole only foil no arch support, end up returned

I got these a few weeks ago and they are warm, very light and super comfortable. I commute so I needed a comfortable, not very heavy boot. Today I noticed that the left boot is starting to wear, I almost feel like when something gets old and dries out. The right boot isn't showing the same wear. I haven't wore them under jeans or anything either to have them be rubbing up on something. For the price I am hoping they aren't already falling apart. Looking through reviews to see if anyone has experienced the same.

These are just okay. They do keep your feet warm but are terrible on snow and ice. They are not as tall as you'd think either. I thought I'd wear them to work but I basically keep them to walk the dogs in the fall.

Nice looking boot! As another reviewer said they are not made as well as they used to be with a much thicker & fluffier lining. The wool lining can come off on your socks or leggings & it's uneven around the top edge looking like a lesser quality boot. I even had gotten some pairs where if you picked up the footbed innersole to put one with a better arch support there were 2 nail heads showing.

I do love these boots for the harsh winters I live in. They keep my feet warm, and have excellent traction. That being said, the leather is quick to peel off in areas that are commonly rubbed (i.e. Between my feet while walking) after a few months of wear, the leather looks pretty terrible, which is disappointing considering the cost of the boot.

Was looking for a warm boot that I could wear with a casual skirt and tights. Unfortunately, although it was comfy and warm, the sole of the boot was too clunky for me and is being returned.

Brown color is actually brown and black on the shin area. The black is quite prevalent as it's in the front.

Based on the wonderful reviews, I ordered these boots despite their being expensive. However, when I got them, they were way less stylish than I was hoping for and didn't seem like they would hold up in the wet, snowy weather in NYC. They were very warm and comfortable, but too expensive to be a glorified slipper. I'll be returning them.

I wish these fit! Size 9 was too tight and size 10 was too loose. I really need a 9½, but that will not happen. Also, the top of the boot feels tighter than it should be, given that the top of the foot area is really loose. My calves are a little wider than the average woman, but not so much that it makes a difference in most boots. So these would probably feel nice on someone with small to average calves.

I loved these boots from the start unfortunately my calves are developed because I am a runner. I could wear them comfortably with out pants tucked in but, could not wear them comfortably with even skinny jeans. I ordered a 10 my regular size in all boots. My calf at its widest point measures 15.5" approximately!

I loved these boots as a stylish leather option to the Classic Ugg but...going back. I am a size 8.5 in most shoes and wear 8 in the classic Ugg. I ordered these in an 8; they fit tight across my instep, so ordered 9. Both are going back - I have a somewhat high instep - not dramatic - and both sizes cut off the circulation in the top of my foot after just a few minutes of having them on. So disappointed! I also have large muscular calves and the tall classics do not fit up around my calf, but the shaft in these did fit my calves.

I wanted to like these so much! I've been looking for a warm leather boot forever and thought this would be my answer. I wear an 8 in some Uggs but my foot is an 8.5 so I ordered a 9 in these thinking I could maybe wear a sock if there was any room. The fit was fine but they looked huge...almost like a man's boot. I just felt like I was clomping around in them. They had to go back. (But I love Zappos & their service as usual!)

For the price, his boot was not very attractive. Very utilitarian. I can only imagine it keeps you warm. I could not bring myself to pay this much for something so...well ugly.

First, I want to say that Zappos is the best. I ordered these boots and received in less than no time . Unfortunately the boots looks better online. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 so I ordered a size 9. The boots were really big - it almost remind of Santa's boots as some also mentioned in their reviews. But here's the best part - before I even return them I received another pair the next day. I bought the Ugg Bailey in espresso and they are fab. Thanks once again Zappos; you're the best. Merry Christmas.
