I really wanted to love these shoes. Based on the reviews, they should be the most comfortable shoes in the world. I ordered them with great expectations, and when I tried them on they felt good, mostly because of the arch support - the main thing I look for, and find so hard to find in a shoe. Today I wore them to work. I work on tile floors and am on my feet 7 - 10 hours a day, so it's crucial to have a comfortable shoe. Although the arch support is good, I realized there is no "cush" in the foot bed, nor "give" in the sole. By the end of the day, my feet hurt to the point where I couldn't wait to take my shoes off! I am so disappointed. It's too late to take them back - they're "worn" now - so I'll have to reserve them for "going out" when I'm mostly sitting. Very sad.

These were too wide for my narrow foot although the length was ok. I usually wear a 7 and got a 38. I probably need sandals with adjustable straps to accommodate my narrow foot so unfortunately they did not work and I returned.

returning because the Edges of the shoes on the inside scraped my feet. Beautiful shoes tho.

I was disappointed in these shoes. The fit was ok except for the instep. It rubbed the top of my foot really badly just wearing them around the house about an hour. I knew they would be rubbing some blisters there if I tried to wear them out. So back they went, sadly. I am having a hard time finding a sandal that I can fit my orthotic into and I thought this would fit the bill. Oh well, back to the drawing board, so to speak.

I wear 8.5 shoes and sandals. Always buy Naot size 39. After reading the reviews here (urging buyers to order up), I bought size 40. The shoes arrived in a Zappos box because the Naot box had been damaged in shipping. There was a scratch right across the top of the left shoe upper. The shoe was too long, but too narrow at the same time. Also, when I put them on I felt as though I would tip over! They seemed crooked in some way. I know that sounds insane, but that was my experience. Also, I was surprised by how unattractive they looked on my feet, which are normal size feet with smallish ankles. I sent them back today.

First, they were way too narrow -- strangely so, because I bought these along with two other Naot styles, and the other two were roomy. Second, I think the "most helpful" comment, which noted these as so comfortable that they made her feet feel like a baby in a onesie must have been joking. Because these were not especially comfortable. Third, the style was really, really not for me. They looked nice in the photo, but we're very drab on my feet.

Comfortable but ugly. They look orthopedic and they're going back.

I was so sad these shoes did not work for me. I thought they felt perfect at first, but after a short while the stitching around the top of the sole started to bother my toes. It drove me nuts and couldn't wear them. The rest of the shoe felt good and I thought they looked terrific. Other Naot shoes have worked for me.

I wore them 5 times and all the time I got blisters in different places, first 2 I got on my sole. I never had blisters on the sole of my foot.

This is a very expensive shoe that is falling apart right out of the box. Stitching is sloppy. Pieces of leather are hanging out of the stitches.

I purchased these sandals around 5 years ago and loved them. I have narrow feet and these are real blister-makers. I am imagining Naot's standards have dropped since my last purchase-bummer.

This had leather trim that came into the footbed that irked my big toe on one foot. Bummer, as I like the style and felt secure in the shoe.

Normally I wear size 7, if the shoes are narrow I size up to 7.5. My feet are on the wide side, but not wide enough to purchase a Wide width. Based on other reviews here, I ordered size 8. They were very narrow, and not even too long. Felt more like a size 6 or 6.5. I’m sorry to return them, they are super cute and seem to be of good quality, just not the right shape for me.

Returning these for workmanship-- they are falling apart-- I had the black ones and wore them for two years-- 6 weeks into this pair and strings are everywhere and falling apart.

I have worn Naot shoes in the past and loved their comfort and durability. After minimal wear over 1.5 years or so, the stitching the holds the upper to the lower on this Rome model gave way. No unusual circumstances, just minimal normal wear during the 3 warm months my area sees each year. I was so disappointed that I spent this much for such a substandard product. I do not recommend this shoe unless you are looking to give your money away in exchange for not much.
