Perfect! I have had these shoes for a month. They were completely comfortable right from the very start. I had considered buying some Birks, but they are so clunky…figured I'd give something else a try. I am so glad I did. I have had Birkenstocks in the past and these beat them. No break in time whatsoever! They are also very cute. I can wear them with just about anything. They are very nimble. I can wear them on hikes…only thing is the sandal style invites rocks on in. I will be buying more of these in the future without a doubt. I just wish they made hiking boots!

I have three pairs - I am a professional and need stylish yet comfortable shoes. I wore Karen for a year and they were so comfortable I was afraid I couldn't get them again so I ordered two more. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The support is excellent and the arch just right. If they came in other colors I would buy every one. Also, I had a problem with my right ankle and wore an ankle support for several months. I just loosened the ankle strap and they were fine.

Naot Karena Sandals - I should be a Naot representative. Where ever I go I get someone asking me about my sandals. I tell them these are the best shoes I have ever worn. I own two pairs. I especially get asked at the Remicade infusion center. Those of us that suffer with RA would do anything to find a good, well made, cushioned leather shoe and what an added feature they are good looking too. We do not want to wear orthopedic looking shoes and this Naot Karena has all the features of good orthodics but without the ugly look. I love them and wear them every day.

Like a glove! Just got them for a trip to Costa Rica. We plan to do some hiking and I liked the coverage of this sandal. I put them on and they fit like an old friend. I usually wear a 5.5 and ordered the 5. I have a problem with my toes and the wider width really worked for me. Love these shoes, I feel like I am walking on a cloud. You actually forget they are on your foot. Buy them in every color!

I am one of those people where my shoe size isn't universal among shoes. I wear a 5-1/2 - 6 and my feet were swimming in these size 6. However, I will be ordering these in a size smaller

Not as comfortable as the other pair.

The sandals were very snug. They were very nice shoes but didn’t fit my foot correctly because I do have bunions and have had one removed. These were not for me.

I am very sad to return these shoes. I have ordered this shoe 2 times before, and had no trouble with them. They were a little wider and little longer. I guess I will continue to wear the ones a bought a few years ago. I have a closet full of Naot shoes, only Naot's, but I will have to look for a new brand to wear. Sad, but I will looking at other brands.

I loved the shoe, but the strap on the right side cut into my ankle causing me pain. It is a quality shoe with good arch support. I wish it had worked for me.

A great sandal, looks better on than onthe picture. However, the straps are very hard and it hit me just on the wrong spots. It has to go back.

Ilike this shoe very much, but the strap over the instep isn't long enough to accommodate my AFO's (ankle foot orthotics). Buying online, it was difficult to determine from the picture whether there was a strap on each side of the shoe. If there was, I would be able to take the shoes to a shoe repair shop and have the bottom velcro strap extended by adding 2 to 3 inches of velcro. Since it was impossible with only one strap, I cannot adjust this pair to fit my braces.

Ordered a 38 my usual European size but too narrow in toe. Ordered 39.. came right a way and perfect. Will be good on Trip to France. They are perfect. Good support.

I'm replacing this exact same style from years ago. It is slightly narrower and also slightly shorter than my old pair. I'm unsure the size difference would be enough to size up. I wear a size 37, and have for 2 decades, even though in American sizes I'm a size 7.

I loved the look and feel of these sandals. I was not able to get my orthotics in because of the width. I even tried a size bigger. That did not solve the problem. The main problem is the width at the toes. It was fine everywhere but the toes. My toes were squeezed and went over front edge. These would be perfect if it was available in a wide. They are really attractive and I had high hopes……. Sigh…..

My size is 11 narrow, and this sandal fit great. It is a bit masculine looking, but for casual wear it's fine. It has great support all around. In spite of the perfect fit and quality, I am returning it because the arch support is so pronounced that it is uncomfortable. I have very flat feet, so an over abundant arch pad causes pain in my legs and feet.

Super comfortable and true to size, but neither the style nor the color quite worked for me, so returning. I might have kept them if they came in a true brown just for the comfort though - they seemed that good. The leather on the sides made my narrow foot look even more long and narrow so not for me. Would highly recommend otherwise.

I’ve always had a difficult time with European sizes. Some shoes I wear a 40 and some a 41. The 40 is just too short and slightly narrow and my big toe goes over the top & side just a little. I’m ordering in 41 to see if they fit better. I’m looking for a Naot with removable footbed and they are getting harder and harder to find. The Naot website used to be extremely helpful in identifying the removable footbed style, but they no longer categorize them that way. When I put the Karenna on, it was extremely comfortable and felt like they would be an excellent walking shoe for an upcoming vacation. I just hope the 41 fits well.

I've worn Naot shoes for years, the sizing seems to have changed, my usual size is now too long. The width was ok (other Naot shoes I've ordered recently have been too narrow) The Buffalo leather is heavy and appears to be very sturdy, which is what I wanted, the style is a little clunky. I'm returning these sandals, where the top of the shoe is stitched to the sole the leather's rippled edge extends over the insole and is very stiff (the edge of the leather is almost sharp) and it rubs my big toe. Ouch! I'm very sad that Naot has changed their sizing, as this was one of the few brands was available in my size.

I usually wear an 8 Most of the reviews said it ran small and narrow I ordered a 9 i can see where an 8 would have been too short width is great and super comfortable I have only walked around the house on carpet though

Was to short. I wear a 37 in Naot . The arch was in the correct place so I returned them for the Enid in the same size. They fit fine. Also wear the Naot Papaki in the 37. They are very comfortable for the most part . I have a hard time finding shoes that feel good. My normal size in all other shoes and Nike sneakers is a 7.5.

The shoe runs small and narrow, especially at the front toe area where the rough stitching is easy to feel beneath my toes. In addition, the toe strap cuts into the sides of my toes. Too bad because the shoe is attractive and has good arch support. I ordered another size up with same problems in addition to a defective footbed.

This is a somewhat comfortable sandal, with good arch support and structure. It is an attractive style, and has adjustable straps, but runs narrow. My feet are medium wide, so I find the raised edge of the inner sole, and the stitching, cause pressure and rub my feet. The leather sides don’t rest flush against my foot – the leather “buckles” on the sides.

These sandals are cute in the photo and not quite as attractive once on. Unfortunately had to return as the strap was not comfortable near top of my foot.

Wow. These arrived yesterday and I put them on immediately. The size was just right and I was pleasantly surprised to find a fair amount of arch support. I have high arches and especially in a sandal there is usually little if any support. I bought these to replace a pair of Teva sandals that I bought probably 15 years ago. They are my "go to" sandals and preference for walking or standing. They have been my most comfortable shoes for all these years but they are definitely showing their age and the hard use they get. I just haven't been able to find something to replace them and I have tried. These Naots were a bit pricey but if they last as long as the Tevas they will be more than worth every penny. I'm smiling. (I've only had these for a day and I never give 5 stars but if these sandals live up to their promise I may have to revise that policy.)

These are really attractive but the strap that goes over the toes rubbed against my big toes so I have to return them. Also, I have plantar fasciitis and didn't think the arch was supportive enough. Other Naots that I have seem to be okay with arch support. I'll stick with the Vionics sandals even tho these are more attractive.
