Fit was WAY off. In photo attached, light brown shoe that I already own is a US Size 11. This shoe fits well. The dark brown Denali is what was claimed to be an equivalent size 11. Box arrived in very poor condition. Box was water damaged, crunched and even wet. Don't know whether to blame Zappos or UPS for this adventure.

Best, shoes, ever. I love this shoe and I hope it never goes away. Very subtle, but cool, styling. Unparalleled comfort and support. And they last! By the way, I often wear a 45 in Birks and Clarks, but prefer these in 46.

A Great Walking Shoe... I'm constantly on my feet for 12 to 16 hours or more and these shoes are like wearing a pair of clouds. 'Very easy to break in. I come home and am in no rush to rip these shoes off my feet. I'll be buying a couple more pair. Thanks, Naot and Zappos!

These shoes are simply phenomenal. I am wearing mine daily while my other shoes are neglected in a closet. These have even replaced my Dansko Professionals! Speaking of which, while my Danskos are a 43, I wear a 44 Naot. I have a wide foot, and these are great.

These were my husband's first pair of Naots. He's a die-hard Ecco guy. I've had several Naots that were comfortable, durable, and offered great support. I convinced him to try these. At first he wasn't so sure. The leather was stiff and the soles felt "a little weird." He decided to wear them to work and said by the middle of the morning they felt great. He's glad he tried these.

Do they come in suede? I bought these shoes at a sale a few months back. Since that time the Denali has become my favourite shoe. The comfort is profound, almost indefinable, the long lasting satisfaction is assured and the aesthetic value is guaranteed. I, too, do not feel the need to take the shoe off at the end of the day. Do they come in suede?

Glad I discovered Naot A friend looked at them and asked "Are those one-size-fits-all"? The wide toe looks a bit cloggish, but this is the most comfortable and durable shoe for all-around wear that I've had. I can stand on them, walk in them or sit around in them, and I never get the feeling of "Oh, if I could just get my shoes off". There are very few brands I can wear comfortably; I think anyone could wear a Naot.

SO SO comfortable. Like walking on foam cushions. Yet supportive! A great walking shoe. I am a woman with medium-wide feet, wearing size 9 Women's. I wish such supportive, wide-toe-box shoes were available in women's sizes, but men's size 7/40 also works.

Like walking on pillows but still feeling very supportive. I wear a woman's size 9 with feet somewhere between medium and wide, women's sizes. These shoes were supportive and so so comfortable. A great walking/stability shoe.

I love these shoes. Although I had a problem with the first pair I ordered (something internal broke inside the left shoe within the first 24 hours), the replacement pair has been everything I hoped they would be. I wore them on a walking trip across Sweden and loved the way they cared for my feet. Great shoes! Glad I bought them!

I ordered these because the Birkenstock Memphis was out of stock in my size. I'm not at all disappointed to have ended up with a pair of Naot Denalis. They are excellent shoes, handsome, comfortable, and with good build quality. The insole is great, just the right amount of support. Based on the customer reviews, I went with one size larger, and that was the right move. (I normally take a 43, and in the Denali a 44 provided a good fit.) I've been wearing the shoes for a couple of weeks, and so far I couldn't be happier. I hope they prove as durable as they are comfortable.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I often wear in soles with shoes but these don't require any. Very pleased.

This model NAOT is at least two sizes (1") smaller (length) than standards!!

Jim has worn a similar Ecco pair for 9 years and it's time to replace them. His favorite shoes of all time- except the Ecco boots which are getting old, too. The old Eccos were size 45 but needs a 46 now- although he's still wearing those 45s. Ordered a 45 a few years ago and he wore them so had to give them away. Top contenders are Naot Denali- he likes the wide toe area, also order a size larger. These have the cork bed that is supposed to help plantar fasciitis. Birkenstock Gilford- which is a BEAUTIFUL brown color and true-to-size with "the largest toe bed I've ever tried on" - if you need that.

The fit, size, and material are fine. The comfort level is on par with Ecco shoes I have worn in the past. The style, however, is somewhat reminiscent of clown shoes—not that that is a bad thing.

Thanks to reviewers that suggested ordering one size bigger. I normally wear a US 11 but needed a US 12 (45) in these shoes. There was a quality issue with the footbed in the right shoe but the left shoe felt great. Sadly, this was the last pair in size 45 but I will buy them again.

The most comfortable new shoes I ever had. Work best with medium weight socks. Workmanship and materials are topnotch.

Ugly shoe, but no metal - Very very comfortable for someone who is on their feet everyday! It's a stable shoe, but like wearing house slippers!

Beautiful shoes, quality workmanship, but wacky sizing! 2 to 3 sizes smaller than marked. Seriously. Usually wear 13, ordered 14, and couldn't get it on past my toes. At most, it was a size 11. Impossible to buy these correctly online. Zappos, you might need to look at inventory of this particular model. A shame, because they're top notch quality.

Terrible narrow shoe

Looked and felt like a very well made shoe, but the size was way, way off. I ordered a size up from my regular but still couldn't even fit my foot inside the shoe.
